Default Togekiss - Best Normal/Flying Type.

Yes, It is the best one.
Look at its stats on Serebii.net
That pokemon will sure Hook up.

Now lets forget about that shall we?

Lets focus on its Moveset.
Well I don't know what Movesets it should have.

I was thinking
- Nasty plot
- Air slash
- Thunderwave
- Last resort

Yeah?

Yeah?
Why on earth would you teach it Last Resort? Togekiss is definitely a special attacker, and Last Resort is physical. Scratch that off the move set.

Light Screen, Reflect and Toxic are also great options on Togekiss.

I'd replace that Last Resort with either Aura Sphere (like Ace Trainer said) or Water Pulse. Both take care of the Rock type resistance to Air Slash, but Aura Shpere takes care of the Steel Type resistance to Air Slash. However, Water Pulse greatly exploits Togekiss's Serene Grace. Landing T Wave and the Confusion (Now up to 40% proc) followed by Flinchaxing results in the opponent only having a 15% chance of attacking.

Perfect!
I got Togepi @ Timid Nature.

Ace Trainer, I like your moveset
But What if the other pokemon is faster?
So Yeah I need a lil better move set

And Should Togekiss have Relect or Lightscreen so It can take damages less.

My Kiss has 31 IV's in speed and Timid, outruns a lot of stuff but not the 100 Base Speed ones, also I gave 200 speed EV's. No Reflect/Light Screen for Flinchax Kiss.

What you really want to do is take advantage of it's flying type, and give it fly, for the multiplying purposes....you'd want nasty plot...since it's verrry hard to get the high Atk/Sp. Atck EVs in the D/P days......then, you want thunderwave.......and something additional........here you go:

Togekiss / Sky Plate

Fly
Nasty Plot
Thunderwave

I like Bold or Calm better for Togekiss. It's supposed to take more hits than anything, in my opinion. It's not going to be faster than Infernape and other fast sweepers, or anything like that.

my opinion is not to go with togekiss and try a pidgeot or even a staraptor b/c they have a good attack stat and are fast and togekiss isnt that amazing

Well it can be faster then slower Sweeper like Modest Porygon Z and one hit KO with Aura Sphere. Togekiss is fun, can work well with different natures, and different Natures with different movesets.

Why Bold or Calm? It's supposed to take hits? Did you notice the highest stat on it is it's 120 base Sp. Atk? The thing can learn a move of almost every element and has good defences to back it... I say it's meant to sweep.

LOL. Ok, you do not know much at all. Your post is actually amusing in it's stupidity. Pidgeot has average Attack and decent Speed. Staraptor has great Attack and HP and good Speed, but a somewhat limited movepool. Togekiss destroys both of them, hands down.

Togekiss has great Sp. Atk and Sp. Def, good Def and HP, and a huge movepool. Here's my Togekiss set:

Nature: Modest
Item: Leftovers
EVs: 156 Def, 252 Sp. Atk, 100 Sp. Def
- Air Slash
- Aura Sphere
- Nasty Plot
- Roost

Not speedy, so Roost is there for recovery. It'll handle some hits with the EV distribution, and Nasty Plot is for setting up a sweep. I am debating dropping Roost for Thunderwave though, to ensure a turn two hit after I Plot Nastily.

Sure, but it gets plenty of defensive moves, and unlike most sweepers, it can take a hit. I'd prefer to take advantage of that, as well as things like Wish support.
