Winona. I hated that Cursing Torkoal of hers, especially w/Overheat in its moveset. Ugh.

Liza and Tate were easy. I just trained a Sharpedo (which I later ditched) with Surf and Crunch along with my Golem. :)

Norman's team was a bit tough with Facade, especially thinking it would be good to poison his team.. But a Pelliper with Protect worked nicely when used to counter Truant.

7th gym leader: Blazeikin and some ground type Pokemon
8th gym leader: Actually, I used Kyogre (which knew Thunder by TM)

Kyogre@SalacBerry
Calm Mind
Thunder
Ice Beam
Surf

im guessing thats what he did

calm mind boosts all 3 attacks and thunder becomes 100% accurate

Definatly Liza and Tate by far. I kept losing until my Corphish evolved into Crawdaunt and then it got alot easier.

Tate + Liza took me hours, since my strongest pokemon was Blaziken. I think I beat them by luck because they kept focusing on wobbuffet

liza and tate were the toughest by far! ninentdo(spelling) really made them difficult, for me anyway. they should have been the 8th gym leaders. the 8th gym was easy for me but liza and tate....whew!! took me 3 tries dangit but after careful planning and training i wiped them out.

Wattson. I always get stuck on him, because there aren't any Ground Pokemon early on in the game.
