Re: Commonly used Pokemon and their benefical natures
Odd, I never thought of Flygon was a physical sweeper. I guess it depends what move set you plan on giving it though.

Re: Commonly used Pokemon and their benefical natures
I thought that Luxray should be brave, or have any nature that boosts Attack.

Re: Commonly used Pokemon and their benefical natures
I'd say Lonely or Naughty, since luxray isn't a defense pokemon, and likes its attack to be increased.

Hmm..Well there's two of those natures I've been thinking about..Brave and Lonely. Well I guess I'll see which works best for my tastes.

Brave would be good as well depending on the move set, basically, between those two, its just a matter of whichever you find first ;P.

Re: Commonly used Pokemon and their benefical natures
What about all the Eevee Evolutions, assuming they had their basically-reccommended movesets? :P

Tell me the recommended movesets, and I'll tell you natures.

Re: Commonly used Pokemon and their benefical natures
Well, Jolteon wants Timid no doubt and so will Espeon. Flareon wants a Lonely nature considering it's defense isn't too great. Not too sure on Vaporeon though.
*I posed Leafeon and Glaceon earlier*
It really does depend on the moveset even though most of the Eeveelutions are pretty much band to one set anyway.

Re: Commonly used Pokemon and their benefical natures
Here's what I would do:
Jolteon - Hasty
Flareon - Lonely
Vaporeon - Mild
Espeon - Mild
Umbreon - Careful
Glaceon - Modest
Leafeon - Impish, Adamant

That list is looking decent so far minus the careful on Umbreon, and minus the Impish on Leafeon.Based on level up move sets only/stats (and not tm/hms learned), Umbreon-Adamant, Espeon-Modest, Vaporeon-Modest, Jolteon-Timid, Flareon-Modest/Adamant depending on move set. Glaceon-Modest, Leafeon-Adamant/Modest depending.

w00t, I've improved. :D
But, I'm confused on why careful wouldn't work on Umbreon. Special Defense is it's highest base stat, and Special Attack is it's lowest. It learns a lot of good physical attacks, so why wouldn't careful work?

I want to raise a Defensive Golem.
Any ideas?

Because Umbreon is not a defensive pokemon. Just think about it. As for a defensive golem, Relaxed nature would do you well.
