For the Snorunt, it depends which evolution you plan to make it become. For a gulpin,a Sassy nature would be great.

For Froslass, maybe a quiet nature would work nice.

Re: Commonly used Pokemon and their benefical natures
You are wrong about quiet nature, while frosslass needs special attack, its highest stat is speed, the best nature for it would therefore be : Mild, since its defense is not as high to begin with (for special attack) or Hasty (for speed).

Oh thank you very much! I was actually thinking about a Hasty nature. It's always helpful to get a second opinion.

Re: Commonly used Pokemon and their benefical natures
What about a Sneasel? I think maybe Modest as I will evolve it to Weavile and have it know more special attacks than anything physical.

Modest would work nice. That, or mild. Modest would be better though, I think.

Re: Commonly used Pokemon and their benefical natures
The thing is, weavile actually have a very low special attack, but an extremely high speed. Weavile's special attack is its lowest stat. If I were you, I'd train my Weavile in something that increases speed and decreases either defense or special attack (but then it also depends on the moves you are getting for it as you said, just don't really see a point in training it in its weakest stat). For speed: Hasty(defense decrease), Jolly(special attack decrease),

Re: Commonly used Pokemon and their benefical natures
Hasty nature, it has a weak defense already, and Ponyta/Rapidash are all about speed.
