Default Need Rock/Ground type for D/P

I can't decide between these 3: Golem, Rhyperion, and Steelix. Any Input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Why do you even have the need to contest Rhyperior, among those two?

I dunno, feel like I'm betraying my right-hand rock type Golem for the new guy (even though he is packin lots more power)

Well, I guess Golem could be used for the journey to the Elite Four, but that's beside the point.

The only thing Golem has over Rhyperior is Rock Head and Explosion, unless you prefer Underused over wannabe Ubers.

Well, I guess you could cross over Explosion, on Rhydon, from R/S/E/FR/LG, but Rhyperior has more potential than to go down, in style.

can use rollout wich is strong attacke and gose on for alot of turns.
Which is also situational, especially if your opponent pulls a switcheroo and kills you, unless you decide to stop the Rollout. Even so, it depends on Defense Curl to increase its power.

It can also learn some fire attacks.
There are better ways to outwall Skarmory, but whatever sinks your ship the fastest.

Rhyperior is probably the most offensive-defensive Pokemon of all, and it inmensely outclasses Golem with its trait. Tyranitar got a massive boost with improved Stab'd attacks and the new addition of Sandstorm's effects. Hippowdown is also a cool choice since it gets a recovery move and is pretty defensive overall

Not to mention another Sand Streamer is what we need.

golem was outclassed by rhydon most of the time in adv
no way is it going to stand up to something lowering it's damage from SE hits and with the ability to dent near everything in the game with one of the highest non uber attack stats in the game

Personally, I prefer Marowak or Tyranitar (even though Sandstream kind of sucks), but out of those 3, Rhyperior is the best.

Just so you know, Sandstorm gives Rock types a 1.5x SPCL DEF boost. So, Tyranitar gets the boost, from the start.

For Ground, right now my favorite is TOrrterra, because of the typing. Rhyperior is the best out of those three.
