Default Catching Mesprit

Hi. I need HELP! This ONE Pokemon keeps getting away from me:

He's incredibly fast! Once, I threw a Quick Ball and I ALMOST GOT HIM!!!!! He broke out at the last second! So, here are the problems:

1) He's faster than all of my Pokemon! Even with one with the Quick Claw.
2) His HP is low. In the red zone.
3) I have Pokemon that knows Mean Look and Block. But he....again.....runs away.

Any tips for catching this guy? He's driving me CRAZY!!!!

If you got a faster pkmn (somehow) put it to sleep. I don't know if it's possible.

If I were you, I'd save the master ball for Cresscellia. As for Mesprit, a bird type like Staraptor should be fast enough. Or you could trade, but that's all I got, just use your imagination.

Get a Wabbufet or Wynaut. They'll keep it from running.

Aaaa, yes! That, or some other Pokemon with the type of ability to prevent enemies from escaping.

OK. Other problems:

1) I do not OWN a Wobbufet nor have I seen one
2) Staraptor doesn't know any moves to block a Pokemon from fleeing
3) I used my Master Ball on Dialga!

Yeah, this pokemon is frustrating... :/

I say just keep trying quick balls until it actually works... Now to follow my own advice... >_>

Get a pokemon who has meanlook with speed OVER 80 and you should be allset. (Mesprit has a base speed of 80)

or use a trapinch who doesnt let things run away with his ability.

Really? 80? Let me see. I only have three Pokemon that have a block move:
Golbat - Lv. 46 - Mean Look
Haunter - Lv. 36 - Mean Look
Bronzong - Lv. 33 - Block

Actually, the Haunter I mentioned was Lv. 31 and had a speed of like 71. My Lv. 36 Haunter is 90 but has no Mean Look. But my Golbat is 88! And it knows Mean Look and has the Quick Claw attached! And my Bronzong is 38.

Try golbat, according to the numbers it should work.
