Default PBR Question for Those Who Own it

Is it really worth getting Pokemon Battle Revolution? I hear it's good but my cousin says she got bored of it on the second day so I need you guy's opinion.

Thanks. I thought so. It didn't sound too good once others told me about it.

i disagree, i am into pokemon yet i think its a waste of cash. i guess its what games appeal to u as in story, gameplay, graphics. post the things u look 4 in agame and i can try and say whether if it's worth it. if u cant decide rent it from ur cousin.

Well obviously not. I'm not really all that with pokemon, but I still find it fun battling online. It's all a matter of opinion, and that's all there is to it.

HARRO, I GIVE YOU IDEA.

Pokémon Battle Revolution works in a way that it's makeup for Diamond and Pearl. The best way to play this is to connect it with D/P, but you really don't get anything out of this except for a Surf-Flying Pikachu or whatever else they put up as transferrable to D/P. This game is meant for the more serious competitive battlers-- the ones that just, you know, battle. You can get it to see your Pokémon (in 3-D!) battle (in 3-D!), but there's other things you can do.

Mostly everything about the trainer is customizable. Phrases can be completely changed to be whatever you want ("I CALL YOU TO BATTLE, [insertnamehere]!!"), but everything about your trainer's appearance is based on preset items, hairstyles, and sizes. You can't appear to be a little without looking like a shrimp with a skirt on.

I'd tell you not to buy it, since it's easy to get bored of, but renting works well if you're willing to get the special stuff out of it and into your Diamond or Pearl version.

The WiFi is pretty terrible as well. Trying to find a random match usually fails because everyone has a party of nothing but ubers.

The battles really aren't all that great either, it's dull looking, and not dramatic enough...

But hey, if you want a surfing pikachu, go for it. :P

I usually have no care for graphics, but gameplay I am serious about. I don't even think it's worth borrowing it from my cousin. I like the portable Pokemon games for the action and the adventure. Thanks guys, this thread can go now.

Eh, I'd start off with NOT asking other people's(May this also include official reviewing resources such as "Game Spot", "Nintendo Power" and pretty much anyone else.)opinions on, well, anything, for they will all be different. Some people may hate it, some may love it. As you can see above they are plenty of mixed reviews here. In my opinion, the Game has pretty graphics, great features(Customizable Trainer, being able to get special Pokemon(Surfing Pikachu, Magmotar, and Electivire), and so on(I really don't know about Gameplay, for I've never played Stadium or Stadium 2.)... I can't really say "YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME!", just "If you're really interested in the game, I'd say you should at least rent it and see for yourself." I was never the type of person to listen other's opinions, I've actually liked alot of underrated games. :P Hoped this kind of helped you.

I find PBR to be an adequate waste of my exam revision time.

Seriously, if you like to customise stuff and to battle online (plus pretty lights and things) then you might like it. I do.

PBR is very fun. I would rent it first if I heard bad and good things about it. I got PBR the day after it came out in the US so I own it.
