Sevii Islands League and Game Information!
-08/25/04-

The new Pokemon TCG League will be starting soon. The eight seasons will focus on the Sevii Islands. The Sevii Islands is in the new Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon LeafGreen games. The Trainer Tower will represent the last season, which can be found in the last island in the games. Here's the schedule:

Knot Island: 9/19/04 - 10/30/04
Boon Island: 10/31/04 - 12/18/04
Kin Island: 12/19/04 - 2/12/05
Floe Island: 2/13/05 - 3/26/05
Chrono Island: 3/27/05 - 5/7/05
Fortune Island: 5/8/05 - 6/18/05
Quest Island: 6/19/05 - 7/30/05
Trainer Tower: 7/31/05 - 9/17/05

Game Information
As mentioned already, the Sevii Islands appear in the Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen games, that will be released on September 7th, 2004. There are seven islands: Knot Island, Boon Island, Kin Island, Floe Island, Chrono Island, Fortune Island, and Quest Island. There are various things to do on these islands, and you can find wild Pokemon from Johto. Also, there are two additional islands: Navel Island and Birth Island.

Navel Island
How to get there: By using the Mystery Ticket
What's there: Capture Lugia and Ho-oh

Birth Island
How to get there: By using the Aurora Ticket
What's there: Capture Deoxys

The Mystery Ticket and the Aurora Ticket can not be found in the game. You can only receive these special items from a Nintendo promotion. This is similar to the Eon Ticket for Ruby/Sapphire, which was given out at certain Nintendo events (for example, an issue of Nintendo Power Magazine had the Eon Ticket, you had to use the e-Reader device to transfer it to your game. It was also given out at the Pokemon Center NY store).

Although we pretty much all knew about the names, it's good to know what we can catch on those two ticket islands! I've heard rumors going around that Nintendo Power's going to be giving out tickets to their members.... glad I just signed up!

This is gonna take over a year to complete! The fact that you can catch Johto pokemon is really great. Giving out tickets, where does the one go when they give it to the library in town? Oh well, do we know which pokemon on which islands?

Well, you can check out Serebii.net or you can wait and be surprised.... I'm going to go with option 2!

I have a general idea as I've done 'research' on the games already... lol. Meh... pooey that the only way you can get to the islands is those darsh gong tickets... Gah... XD.

Meh, my homecity is right across from NYC, so when I get the game, I can get those two tickets from the Pokemon Center at NYC

IMO, the tickets are a ridiculous scam...I'll just try to buy the tickets off of eBay.

lol, they definitely make you work for it. We don't know what kind of promotions Nintendo has in stored for the tickets, but we'll learn in the near future.

I live near The Pokemon Center in NY, so I think it would be pretty much free there, the only hassle is getting there. I don't like switching subway trains to get to that area of NYC

Since I'm a League Leader I will be getting the League stuff when its time to order it. I think the Leagues are gonna keep getting better and better, they are also gonna be having League Booster Packs as well. They will contain 2 Extremely Rare cards that can only be gotten from a League. They are actually making people come to Leagues for a reason now other than points.

I can't wait, I'm sure my League members can't wait as well. The League packs contain Very Rare Ex Pokemon in them, like Tyranitar Ex. I'm gonna get plenty of extras to try and get a lot of them for my League member. When I get the new League Kit, I will keep you guys informed. :)

Ugh... The tickets are definately not fair. Not only do I not have an e-Reader (Due to it never being released in the UK), I cant really get either of the Tickets. If they release the tickets within a month of releasing the games, ill have to buy both games, import an e-Reader from America, and buy a ticket off eBay (Hopefully they'd have them). Thats more money than I can possibly afford, especially after getting a GBA game and GB Player for my GCN... Damn...
