Default nb team [old]

I haven't been on NB in ~2 months, and haven't built a team in about one lol

But, I'll post this team; it's pretty gimmicky, but when it works, it's gg

Zapdos @ Leftovers ** !
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 80 HP / 176 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Metal Sound
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt

This leads because he does
No pert is dieing to stay in on Zapdos, so I either Metal Sound, or start throwing subs about
I really love how I need to bluff HP Grass, makes it more interesting and starts prediction wars like woah
Works so well with Spikes

Metagross @ Leftovers ** !
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 140 HP / 96 Atk / 88 Def / 184 SAtk
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Meteor Mash
- Thunderpunch

The theme of the team
Earthquake followed by HP Grass kills Pert; and even if I don't, Pert can't ohko anyway, so lol him
Counters most of zappys weaks and kills everything with a Metal Sound in play; people start getting so confused when Metal Sound and Spikes are in play

Salamence (M) @ Choice Band ** !
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 180 HP / 176 Atk / 152 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Double-Edge
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Flying]

Geenral hard hitter on the team and hera counter
I always try and save this for late game even if I lose something in the process

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers ** !
Trait: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Spikes
- Toxic
- Whirlwind

Makes Heracross think "lol I can sweep later once this guys gone" then I bring out Mence
Toxic is better than Sub, because if you don't just WW first to check for mag, you're an idiot
Good players will just predict and switch mag in on the same skarm switch turn anyway

Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers ** Snolacks
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 140 HP / 136 Atk / 56 Def / 176 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Body Slam
- Focus Punch
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

I <3 focus punching restalk lax
I like the extra Tyranitar coverage. Slam is to help meta sweep. I have Meta + Pert for gar anyway

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers ** !
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 236 HP / 176 Def / 96 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam

Counters tar/mence/everything else
HP Bug is for celebi

god this is old
But I love it ^_^

You'll have problems switching in on a Mixpert. Zapdos can bluff HP grass a few times, but once your set is known, you'll be giving free switches away, and nothing in your team can switch in without taking a load of damage. Counter/Fire blast Snorlax is also a pest for this team

For Snorlax. When I'm using the Curse moveset, I always add Immunity ability, to trick the foe, like I did to Judgement...

eh I don't get what this has to do with the team exactly =/
also Immunity on a Snorlax w/ rest is just redundant imo; I don't see why you'd risk toxicing a cursing lax, and then sending out something against it when it now has +2 defence and attack
unless toxic makes sure for an OHKO, but either way, just letting it curse once would guaranteed an ohko anyway .__.

I'm actually thinking of just putting HP Grass > Sub
Sub was really just to ease the prediction-reliant team a bit, but I guess I can go grass if it helps with pert

With no Wish/Rest support your Swampert won't be countering too much as no one would leave their Mence/Tar to take a hit. It'll be just worn down from EQs/whatevers and eventually fall.

Iirc, Flamethrower > Fire Blast on Mence, because both 2hko Skarm anyways. Can't be bothered to check, so my memory could fail me.
