The best way to obtain Mew is by visiting a Nintendo event.

I wouldn't say it's too strong, it's stats are the same as Mew. It learns some nice moves, but the part Grass type weakens it too much, in my opinion.

The only thing I can think of that sounds anything like it would be Usokki which is the Japanese name for Sudowoodo...

Re: Gold/Silver/Crystal Game Discussion
Guys, my Gold Version appears to have kicked the bucket. I started the game last night, got my Cyndaquil, caught a Pidgey and a Bellsprout, trained them up and called it a night. I saved, then loaded up the next morning looking forward to facing Falkner, and my save wasn't there. This then reminded me why I hadn't played it in so long; because I'd faced the problem about a year previous. So my question is, has this happened to anyone here? And if so, can anyone harbor a guess at how I could fix it? I don't particularly want to buy a new version, though I quite happily would as it's still my favorite Pokemon game ^^

The same thing happened to my Silver game =[
As far as I know, Nintendo no longer fixes the games when their internal battery runs out. If you know how to do it though, you can apparently replace the battery yourself with a normal watch battery, but unless you can find somewhere else to repair it, I'm not sure that there's anything else you can do.

Yes. In Silver you have to be past Ecruteak City and Bill must have fixed the time machine in the far right corner of the Pokemon Center. If it's been fixed, then go there with your Silver game. Make sure you don't have any Pokemon or new moves that are not available in Blue Version in your party though, otherwise you won't be allowed in. Just go to the normal Cable Club in Blue and you should be able to trade.
