Default evolve poliwhirl

it said that he was possible to evolve and when i got to the cave it said: you cant evolve yet you lack an item. how do you evolve him? and one more thing how deep is groudons cave?

Ok since I have Poliwrath on my team I know you need a water stone to evolve Poliwhirl. And Groudons cave is 23 floors save point. Then I think 5 more I don't know about the 5 that's a guess

NO ITS 23f down and then 3 extra floors (1st floor is like the rest, 2nd is just walk to a warp, 3rd is groudon)

If you want to evolve Poliwhirl to Poliwrath you'll need a Water Stone from the 29th Floor of Northwind Field. If you want to evolve it into Politoed you'll need a King's Rock from one of the Kecleon Stalls in Wish Cave and a Link Cable.
