Default Charmander Question

From what ive seen, charmander takes forever to lv. up. My brother picked him and restarted, b/c at lv. 6 it had to gain like 200 some'n to get to lv. 7. Is it like that the whole game with it?

Charmander didn't take that long to level up for me, unless you should have levels higher than Lv35 by the time you're on Rayquaza. Also, once Charmander becomes a Charizard, You can make Charizard remember the move Heat Wave, which comes in handy in a monster house, since Heat Wave gets every1 in the same room as you. Anyway, I'm doin' good with my Charizard.

If you have a pokémon that levels quickly, later on it could slow down and vice versa.

Yeah Charmander does take a while, but from what i've seen so do most of the starter Pokémon in this game.

The first time I played through Mystery Dungeon Blue I used Charmander and he was very good, i'd recommend it.

Hmm never learned Heat Wave... maybe i'll try it out next time.

And I've made it all the way to Mt. Faraway on my new game and I haven't met one monster house >__>

Hmm ah well.

^^
