My Lapras - Pokemon Forum

I have a Lapras on LeafGreen that I use for competitive battling. I don't use it in-game becuase frankly, it is just too powerful in my opinion. Here is it's moveset:

Surf ( STAB ) , Ice Beam ( Same Thing ) , T-Bolt ( If all my others have fainted and I'm up against a Suicune or and other water ) , and Psychic ( complements Lapras' S. Attack very nicely ) .

I'll post nature and stats in a while, but what do you think of it's moveset? I works well for me. I appreciate any critism. Thank you!

Get rid of T-bolt what level is it at. I dont know its Ok. :/

My Lapras is Lv. 100 and I like T-Bolt. It complements his S. Attack just like Psychic.

What nature does it have?

It has a Calm nature I think. Not very sure on that one.

Its OK. I think T-Bolt and Psychic are fine.

Really Psycics fine but I just don't like T-bolt too many pokemon are resistant to thunder rock,steel,ground,eleric. a lot. just a theory I still think its OK.

Actually, Psychic is the most useless move of the set, since it doesn't hit anything really hard, unlike Bolt which comes in handy to beat opposing waters, since Lapras can beat any other pure water with its trait and huge HP and Sdef. Confuse ray or Sing are better options than Psychic, which you'll rarely use anyway

I think C-Ray is better than Sing here.

The only things that resists T-bolt are Grass, Electrics, and Ground mons.

I don't know about changing Psychic. I like it on Lapras because it can be used in a pinch. But if I were to change Psychic, Should I put in Sing, Confuse Ray, or Rain Dance?

Out of those, I'd go with Sing as sleeping always disables at least one Pokemon from the opposing team. Rest would also be a good option as Lapras has a decent staying power.

I think Rest might work, but should I put a Lum Berry or something like that to wake it up?

No, Leftovers is generally better, because Lum Berry is too situational, because if someone paralyzes you before you get to Rest, you lose your Lum Berry and you won't have Leftovers to recover with.

it is pretty good but if you plan on getting rid of any moves, get rid of psychic

With T-bolt you get Bolt-Beam, the moveset's great, it covers everything except Shedinja.
