Type Chart

Does anyone else feel that the type chart is out of whack. They are doing things that make no sense to me. They said that grass is weak against ice and they make a grass/ice pokemon. I mean I dont even know why grass is weak against ice. It makes no sense to me at all. and the pokemon they made looks dumb anyway. But not go get off topic do you feel somethings on the type chart should be changed. Like normal pokemon can beat nothing. I mean they should be the weakness for something. I didnt see one if you do then let me see the link please. Just throwing it out there. Making some convo.

Sigh. Yea i dont know you so i guess your joking. But it seems to me certain things should should be changed. Like normal. I feel like it should be able to hurt something. But it cant which is freaking me out. I know normal pokemon have only one weakness but they dont have any strengths. Thats why I am saying something are out of whack. And again on the last comment. But haven't you noticed, that, although Normal isn't Super Effective on anything, it also has very few things it's not very effective on?

Wow. That shows how ignorant you are. Your normal. Your saying nothing is special about you. Can you see what pokemon is saying? Normal(Humans) are weak against fighting(War). LOL!!! It makes sense. But I feel that something like Dragons should be weak against normal. Or dark should be weak against normal seeing that Normal(humans) can find the light to shine on the darkness. I mean that makes sense. LOL!!!!

1st. Its not in the wrong board because the type chart plays into strategy.

How does this have anything to do with strategy? If you're not satisfied with how the type chart looks and are complaining how Normal types are whack, I see absolutely no strategy in it.

My evidence for this being in the wrong board is that it has nothing to do with strategies or movesets, the two things this part of the forum is for.

No, luckily for you, I'm not having a bad day. I'm fairly exhausted because of working out at the gym and I'd much rather relax than argue with you.

The big deal is that this is in the wrong board, because it has nothing to do with subject of this board. If you would've put this in the General Board, it would've been much better off in there. We all know what the type chart looks like and if we can't do anything to change it, so why even bother with complaining what it looks like and what should be effective against what. You can always speculate stuff, but that's not for this board, unless you're speculating movesets and startegies for D/P.

Also, learn the difference between 'your' and 'you're', it'll make your posts easier to read.

I'm guessing you haven't entered your senior year of High School, so I'll keep this very elementary.

The reason why grass gets beaten by ice is because if you freeze an organic substance, ice crystals form in the cells, breaking down the protective membrane. If you defrost these cells, the ice crystals melt, and leave holes in the membrane. This results into a leaking of the contents of the cell, destroying the whole organic substance.

That's why, if you wanted to throw in logic in a fantasy game, grass gets owned by ice.

As for normal, well, it's what you want. Normal is, along with fighting, immune for ghost moves. However, once you use foresight, you get a hit in. Foresight can be seen as a spiritual link, resulting in the ability to hit and get hit by the supernatural.

Okay, that analogy does not make any sense. You are completely ignoring the fact that this is a game created by a guy loving to catch and collect bugs. Why would you ever consider that he means to see the normal things as humans, and fighting as war. Honestly, this tells us more about your mental state than those at GameFREAK.
