When encoring Sleep Talk, do you encore the Sleep Talked move or Sleep Talk itself?

Of course this is just for now, until someone can test it in-game. But most of things that Smogon uses are tested in game (and Shoddy's information is directly from Smogon).

Okay, I've discussed critical hits with the senior refs. Basically everything stays the way it was in URPG. Normal moves like Earthquake have no chance of a critical hit, and moves with a high chance like Slash, Cross Chop, Leaf Blade etc have a 25% chance.

Also, for those who don't know it yet: Confusion now lasts 2-5 turns. When you snap out of it isn't dependant on a roll done outside the chat, but the confusion rolls done when moves are executed. The first turn you can't snap, so you just roll 100-sided, 50 and below is a smack, 51 and up is a normal attack. For turns 2-5 you roll 100-sided, 50 and below is a smack, 51-75 is a normal move but still confused, 76 and higher means you snap. If you're still confused after 5 turns you automatically snap the 6th, without any roll.

You might wanna change the refpedia then. It says 12.5

I've got a question regarding Metronome.

How would you determine what move is used? Is it just a dice with the number of attacks, and whatever numbers rolled, is the attack?

The ref rolls a 455 sided die, and then uses a numbered list. I dunno if there's a standard one, but Bulbapedia has a full list by index number.

The Reffing Encyclopedia list of moves is numbered. I'd use that list since you can just CTRL+F the number that comes up from the roll.

Reffing Encyclopedia.

If someone uses Yawn and the opposite uses Safeguard will it fall sleep?

Smogon and Serebii says it protects from all status but this site says: http://uk.gamespot.com/ds/rpg/pokemo...216&pid=925601

So can someone test on shoddy or in game?

Safeguard protects from all statuses, but Yawn will still make it fall asleep if Yawn was used first.

When Yawn is used, the Pokemon gets drowsy, which I think of as a status in and of itself. It lasts for one turn and then puts the pokemon to sleep. So you may use Safeguard, but it can't remove a status.

Just like if you are paralyzed, using Safeguard won't get rid of it.

Does Encore works on a Pokemon that Encore's just stopped?

I'm pretty sure I saw someone battling and ordered Encore on a Pokemon that Encore's just stopped anyway.

Do you mean like, I use Swords Dance, the next turn my faster opponent uses Encore, and I'm stuck using Swords Dance. Then four turns later Encore ends, and the next turn he uses Encore again, so I'm stuck using Swords Dance again? Yes, I'm fairly certain that that can be done.
