PE2K Christmas Artwork Competition

Hello to all, and Merry Christmas. Welcome to the
Pe2k Christmas Artwork Competition as approved by D.2! I've opened this thread
a little earlier than expected, to give people a good chance to get their entries in.
Anyone can enter, with a Pokemon/Christmas themed peice of Art. It can
be sprites, drawings, banners, animations, anything! The Artwork submitted must be fairly
Pokemon and Christmas themed. So let's get the Christmas Spirit buzzing around Pe2k!

When submitting your Work, please give it a title. Aswell as a title, please write a little
description about the peice. This is one or two sentences, so please make the effort.

But what is in it for me I hear you eager Santa's helpers shout? The winner, aswell as
getting respect, and pride gets a great gift from yours truely. The winner will be crowned
as the Artwork Santa Clause of Pe2k! If you win this title, you are entitled to have this
sprite, and put it in your signature. Ok, so it might not be the best Santa sprite, but if
anyone can come up with better, send me it by PM, and you will get credit. ;D



Aswell as posting your entries in this thread, also you can chat here about the contest.
No spamming please. ^^


The Rules

- All pieces of art must be Pokemon AND Christmas themed.
- There is no size limit to the submitted work. But just don't allow it to be too huge.
- If sprites are to be submitted, they must be submitted in the form of a banner.
I don't want this to be the 'post a sprite, and have all the spriters vote for the sprite
because it shows exceptional paint skills thread' :P.
- Each user can enter up to 3 pieces of work. If you want to sprite, you can put as many
sprites as you like in a banner, but aslong as it is all in one banner, it counts as one entry. Kapeesh?
- The Art submitted MUST be made by you. This seems obvious, but, you never know.
Anyone elses work submitted as your own, will lead to a disqualification, and a lashing from the mods.
- No flaming other peoples pieces of work, because it is poorly made, or whatever.
Remember, this isn't a contest of technicality. There is no reason why the funniest work can't win, right?
- You can change an entry, only once. By change, I mean edit the previous.
- And finally, no hentai, or inappropriate entries.

The Deadline

Entries can be submitted as of now. The deadline for entries to be submitted is the 20th of December.
On the 20th, I will make a voting poll, containing all of the submitted works, and people will be free to vote.
Please refrain from voting for yourself, it really just does declare how sad and desperate you are.
Votes will close on the 24th, and the winner will be crowned ^^.

Description: This banner represents the hardwork of Santa's helpers. The joy that they have is so out-of-this-world! <3



Gun6's two entries - Both Titled "Snowbro wishes you a Merry Christmas!"
Description: Well, it's a Slowbro dressed as Santa... and its on a snowy field at night.
Uh... vote for me? (I might make it animated with snow falling. I don't have text
because there are no fonts that would work with it. Also, yes, those are shoe
impressions/footprints beside him.





Shady's entry - " Tis the season! "
Description: Just a little banner I through together. It display's the christmas pokemon; Delibird in a field of snow.



.AzureLight's entry - "Minimalistic Christmas"
Description: A minimalist piece, the white background represents snow, the red and green add Christmas colors.



Pokefreak 51's entry - "Legendary Holidays"
Description:Legendary Pokemon are everywhere! From the birds to the dogs (to a few
not-so-legendary Pokemon that I just couldn't resist adding ), these special Pokemon have
come to greet Santa and his reindeer! (Like my Rudolph?)

Description: I drew this pic of my favorite Pokémon, Houndour as a present for a lucky one.

Description: Description: Muumajii looks like it has a santa hat on doesn't it? Meri Kurisumasu! (She's on a bag full of goodies btw)



Hoshika's entry - "Santachu's white Christmas"
Description: Santachu delivering presents to his friends. He's just walking along with the sack.



Callum's three entrys - "A Lonely Christmas...", "Festive Duo!" and "Have a Berry Merry Christmas!"

Description: Abstract picture of sad Charmander once again celebrating christmas with no
friends. Poor Charmander ;D Incase you are wondering what is Christmassy about it, it is the
tree, made by me. I've never really done abstract before, lol.



Description: Ash and Pikachu can never beat the festive power of Jolly Santa Clause, and Merry Rudolf-Stantler!
They can only Marvel at the glory of Christmas. Stantler Photoshop scratch by me based on a small version of
a Pokemon Episode that I found on Google. Took around 1 hour and a half. Kudos to Clement Clark Moore for the
Night before Christmas quote. Oh, and also thanks to Tim Allen for playing Santa Clause.. ;D

Description: Yup. It's our famous mascot celebrating Christmas with a totem! Happy Christmas, all! ^^;



Not everyone is meant to celebrate X'mas with friends and family.

Never fear. Here is an example.



Even if that is all it is. It is just I don't want this to be a sprite contest. Even though it is simple, it also looks better than just having a sprite. You'll think of something Gama :P.

This took a LONG time, (from when I first read about it 'til now, non-stop) with 100% MS Paint (you're not the only one without photoshop, Gun...). Nice decorations on Slowbro's tail, man. Good luck to all!!!
