It's all good... anyways, I totally ate this one like cake. I love it. Here's my three characters, from old school video games. Toejam, Micheal Jackson, and Dig Dug. Please tell me if the attack stats are either too strong, too weak, and or inconsistant.

Toejam
Origin: Toejam and Earl, Sega Gen.
Description: Average height, close to Mario. Toejam is a Funky Hip-Hoppin Alien with some gold medallion bling, blue jeans, three legs, white tank, and a white backwards cap. He brings in a fast melee fighter with decent attacks and great aerials.
Speed and Movement Properties:
Speed: Above average. (Slower than Fox, but not by much)
Jumping: Above average. (A little bit better than Mario)
Rec. Time: Very good. (Mixed with his Bubble Float. Toejam can cover a lot of lost ground)
Weight: Average. (Close to Mario)
Size: Average. (Close to Luigi)
Fall Rate: Average.
B Move: Jar throw. Thows a jar that captures foe for a short period of time; similar to Yoshii's egg swallow but a projectile. 2-4%
B^ Move: Jar throw. Same as above, but throws jar up. 2-4%
B<-> Move: Funk Fu. A fuzzy teleport that moves through objects and foes, but also does a little bit damage of damage as he passes through his foe. Similar to Pikachu's Quick attack, or Fox's Fire Fox. 3-5%
BV Move: Bubble Pop. A Pink Bubble grows around Toejam, then pops. 4-6%
Basic A: Punch. Nothing really special. Quick and basic. 3-5%
A^: Uppercut. 4-6%
A <->: Big Punch. One big punch, like Mario. 5-8%
AV: Double kick. Uses outside feet to kick both directions, while balancing on his third foot. 5-8%
Running Attack: Funk Fu Popping Punch. Two quick punches that transform into a Popping Dance intermingled with a few punches, ending with a kick. Each punch and kick fuzzy teleport into position. 4-10%
Smash<->: Funk Fu Spin. A fast spinning break dancing attack. Toejam fuzzy teleports to the ground spinning on his back. The teleports again into a spin on his elbow, kicking. Then again on his head which he come out of with a strong kick. 5-15%
Smash^: Funk Fu Pike. A skyward break dance kick. Toejam drops to the ground kicking into the air, but fuzzy teleports from the ground, moving his kick higher into the air. 13-18%
SmashV: Windmill. A spinning and kicking break dance move, where Toejam spins and flails his legs around him while balancing on his hands. This attack attacks all around, except above. Very similar to Mario's Windmill. 10-18%
Aerials: Below
Jump-BV: Throw jar down. 2-4%
Jump-B<->: Bubble Float. A Pink Bubble appears below Toejam, and he's able to float anywhere for a short period of time, until the bubble pops.
Jump-B^: Funk Fu. Same as B<->, but teleports upward. 2-4%
Jump-AV: Spinning Drill Kick. Goes to the ground spinning like a drill. 5-10%
Jump-AV double hit: Spinning Stomp. Similar to the above, but abruptly stops with a heavy stomp. 8-12%
Jump-AV triple hit: Same as above, but the stomp Funk Fu teleports into a very fast stomp. Stomping on the ground also adds some small damage (2-4%). Total--10-18%
Jump-A^: Funk Fu Flip Kick. Fuzzy teleports into a fast flipping kick. 6-10%
Jump-A<->: Normal Punch. 3-5%
Jump-A<-> double hit: First hit is a normal punch, but second punch is incorporated into a fast Funk Fu punch. 5-9%
Grab: Toejam puts enemy into a headlock.
Attack: Toejam knees opponent. 4%
V Throw: Smacks foe into the ground. Similar to Kirby, but straight down, flying upwards. 8-10%
^ Throw: Toejam throws foe into the air and flip kicks them. 6-10%
<>Throw: Hammar throws foe, similar to Mario. 4-8%
Shield: A Pink Bubble appears around him, and fades as it becomes weaker.
Taunt: Pulls out old school Boom Box and starts Pop dancing.
Strategy: A basic melee fighter, using as many attacks to equal good attack combos. Also, attacking from the air gives strongest attacks.

The Moonwalker (aka. Michael Jackson)
Origin: Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, Sega Gen.
Description: A magical man in a grey zuit suit and fedora. A red shirt is under the grey jacket. Creepy... it's Michael Jackson. He's got great basic attacks, good ranged attacks, but no super powerful smashes.
Special Note: On almost all of Michael's attacks sparks blue sparkles of magic. If the enemy is actually hit with the blue sparks, more damage is done than the actual attack. Example: Michael kicks, giving 5% of damage; but if the enemy is kicked with the tip of Michael's foot and hit with the sparks, 8% damage is dealt.
Speed and Movement Properties:
Speed: Below average. (Close to Dr. Mario)
Jumping: Below average. (A little bit better than Link)
Rec. Time: Average.
Weight: Average. (Close to Mario)
Size: Tall. (Close to Ganondorf or Captain Falcon)
Fall Rate: Slow. He's like... magical.
B Move: Magic Hat. Throws his hat like a boomerang dealing decent damage. 5-8%
B Held Down: Magic Hat, charging. Magic hat charges energy, making attack sizably stronger. 10-15%
B^ Move: Magic Hat. Same as above, but throws hat upwards. 4-7%
B<-> Move: Moonwalk Kick. A quick spin that leads to a round house kick, sparking off blue magic stuff. 8-10%
BV Move: Crotch Grab. A small burst of energy radiates from Michael and explodes in the shower of blue sparks. 5-7%
Basic A: Kick. At the tip of the kick sparks the blue magic sparkles. 5-8%
A^: Power Fist. A very brief pose that punches upwards, sparking off blue magic. 4-6%
A <->: Moonwalk. A magical backwards walk incorporated with spins that spark blue sparkles. If held down, Michael just keeps Moonwalking. Front and behind damage, no damage given above. 5-8%
AV: Drop Splits. A quick drop to the ground going into the splits, tripping enemy; then quickly coming back up with a crotch grab. 8-10%
Running Attack: Super Spin. A faster and longer version of the Moonwalk spin. 10-15%
Smash<->: Laser Beam. Michael shoots a big beam from his eyes like the X-men Cyclops. 15-18%
Smash^: Ah-Hee-hee-hee... Everybody near Michael stops what their doing and poses. 2-4%
SmashV: Super Hat. Hat flies around Michael in one orbit. 13-15%

Jump-BV: Throw hat down. 6-8%
Jump-B<->: Fast hat throw. 7-9%
Jump-B^: Hat throw up. 5-8%
Jump-AV: Stomp (with sparks). 8-12%
Jump-A^: Uppercut pose (with sparks). Similar to Mario's. 7-9%
Jump-A<->: Air Punch. Punches with pose and sparks. 6-8%
Grab: Puts hand on shoulder
Attack: Push. 2-4%
^ Throw: Foe gets launched upwards magically. 5-8%
<>Throw: A burst of magical energy flings foe, then a quick slap of the Magic Hat finishes the throw. 6-10%
Shield: A light blue shield, fades as it becomes weaker.
Taunt: Spins, then grabs crotch with a pose whispering, "I'm bad." Then he turns into a Tiger and runs off.
Strategy: If not a little weird, Michael has great ranged attacks mixed with good melee attacks. But lacking in good smashes, standing back and beating the crap out of the opponent is probably wisest. Quote: Michael once said in a song, "I'm a lover, not a fighter."

Dig Dug (I blacked out the profanity)
Origin: Dig Dug, the arcade game from the 80's.
Note: I tried hard to base him off the classic Dig Dug, not the Mr. Driller/Bomberman spin-off look alike.
Description: A little short and looks similar to Bomberman. He's a white stick figure with a blue mask and black dot eyes. He brings a super fast melee fighter with the interesting weapon of his Air Pump.
Speed and Movement Properties:
Speed: Super fast. (Faster than Fox)
Jumping: Below average. (About the same as Link)
Rec. Time: Average.
Weight: Lightweight. (Heavier than Pikachu, but not by much)
Size: Short. About the same height as Pikachu.
Fall Rate: Average.
B Move: Air Pump. A pump harpoon that jabs into opponent and blows them up like a balloon. Slows down mobility and speed of opponent. Also, if opponent pops while pumping, max damage is dealt. 3-5% If popped, 30%
B^ Move: Pump Harpoon. Acts like Link's hookshot. Initial jab 3-5%, Snapping pull 7-9%
B<-> Move: Air Pump, extended. Same as B Move, but a little bit stronger, longer, faster, and more piercing. 4-7%, 30%
BV Move: Air Blast. A quick blast from the Air Pump downwards, that propels Dig Dug upwards a little bit. The blast deals a little bit of damage around him, and whoever's above him gets damage. Sides: 2-4% Above: 5-8%
Basic A: Pump Smack. Dig Dug hits foe with pump. 3-5%
A^: Jab Up. Dig Dug jabs pump up. 4-6%
A <->: Big Swing. Swings and spins w/pump. 6-8%
AV: Double Pump Jab. Dig Dug jabs his pump to one side, then snaps it back, jabbing the other side. In effect, attack all around. 4-6%
Running Attack: Pump Spear. Dug thrusts his pump like a spear forward. 5-7%
Smash<->: Hard Swing. Dig Dug swings his pump like a baseball bat. 10-13%
Smash^: Golf Swing. Swings his pump up with a vertical spin. 8-11%
SmashV: Super Air Blast. A bigger and stronger version of BV. Sides: 5-8% Above: 10-13%
Aerials: Below
Jump-BV: Pump Harpoon. Dig Dug shoots his pump down. If it hits an enemy, he pulls himself towards the foe in a quick snap. Initial jab: 3-5% Snapping pull: 7-9%
Jump-B<->: Pump Harpoon. Same as above. Initial jab: 3-5% Snapping pull: 7-9%
Jump-B^: Air Blast. Same as BV, but in the air. Below: 2-4% Above: 5-8%
Jump-AV: Jab Down. Similar to Link's sword down. 8-11%
Jump-A^: Jab Up. Same as A^. 5-7%
Jump-A<->: Pump swing. Same as A<->. 7-9%
Grab: Grabs enemy with Pump like a harpoon. Similar to Link's Hookshot. 3-5%
Attack: Dig Dug knees opponent. 4%
V Throw: Smacks foe into the ground. Similar to Kirby, but straight down, flying upwards. 7-9%
^ Throw: Dig Dug throws foe into the air and smacks them with his pump. 10-12%
<>Throw: Rolls backwards and kicks enemy off in opposite direction facing. 8-11%
Shield: A red shield appears around him, and fades as it becomes weaker.
Taunt: Leans against his air pump and looks around.
Strategy: Since his attacks really aren't that strong, his speed makes up for his lack of strength. But using his air pump to slow down, then popping his opponent is Dig Dug's best attack combo. Pumping to the max is key; it's the strongest character attack in the game.
