I don't collect or play the cards, but the new graphics are nice to look at. It's interesting what kind of cards they will make next... (Maybe they can do a card contest and let fans design some of the cards... I think they did this before... maybe not...) O.o (???)

Delta Species was a set released a while back, but in some of the newer sets, they still release Delta Species related cards. Basically, Delta Species Pokemon are Pokemon with different types. Like Feraligatr Delta Species is an Electric type, instead of Water type. Ninetales is a Psychic type, instead of Fire type, and so on.

That's what Delta Species is all about. I think it makes things more interesting, personally.

I love my Electric Kabutops.

Question Re: UPDATE: Pokemon TCG: EX Dragon Frontiers!

what does the EX stand for or mean? I don't really play the cards either, like some others have commented, but I've always wondered what EX is.

EX means that the card is stronger than their regular versions, with more HP, stronger atttacks, and are generally better in the game. They're way harder to find too.

Well, I can't see Tyranitar ex going anywhere, since once it comes out, everyone'll be playing Safeguarderd and Holon WPs and stuff. Feraligatr is awesome. Rayquaza ex has potential too. The others aren't going to see much play outside of the binder...

(Oh, and that Snorlax is just ridiculous)

Lightbulb Re: UPDATE: Pokemon TCG: EX Dragon Frontiers!

If the EX cards are better than the regular cards, then wouldn't everyone get them? And once everyone had those cards, more cards would have to be made to beat those cards, and the cycle repeats!! Pretty soon they'll be a Magikarp card with the HP of 100 and a move that will wipe out and regular card... XD (imagination is a dangerous thing)

Everyone would get them if they weren't so expensive.

EXs range from $15-$35 per, depending on the card.

That's why I stopped buying a LONG time ago. In fact, the last cards I bought were Team Rocket theme cards at the Dollar Tree. (Yes, the Dollar Tree!) The Pokemon card games are too easy anyway...
