Default Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!

Since I don't see a more accurate place to put this thread (and I'd like to remove the last post in this subforum displaying as non-existent spam), I'm posting this here. Should a more appropriate place either exist that I am blind to or be created in the future, feel free to move this.

Yesterday we got the biggest news in quite some time, that the old classics Ruby and Sapphire would FINALLY get their remakes! How did you find out, what were your reactions to the news, and what are you hoping for in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire?

I found out through a very excited text from a friend that I didn't have time to research further or respond to for several hours, by which point I had heard people talking about it in my Poetry class. I'm so excited, I've been waiting for this for so many years! And really, I'd be perfectly happy with RS having Emerald features (such as Battle Frontier) added in, and updating mechanics, moves, Pokémon, abilities, items, etc. to generation 6. Anything beyond that is a bonus as long as they don't screw up the important parts. Hoenn has always been my favorite region. Mega Gallade can't hurt either, they were kind of mean to it in XY.

BMG/PWN/PXR/EGC's Ash K.; here for URPG (and possibly WAR).

Frustrated by not seeing your old friends from pe2k? They're probably here.

I loved R/S, and if these remakes have similar graphics to X/Y that would be pretty neat

Exclamation Re: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!

The Delta Episode sounds freaking amazing!

From the official site.

In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, a new story unfolds involving the Hoenn region—the Delta Episode, which was not part of the original Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire Version.

This episode involves the history of the Hoenn region, reaching 3,000 years into the past, and makes the mysteries of Mega Evolution clear at long last. The troubled tale begins with Zinnia, a young woman who bears a certain destiny. The story includes appearances from Team Magma and Team Aqua, Steven, Gym Leader Wallace, and other familiar faces. Don't miss the conflict between Rayquaza and Deoxys!

The Mossdeep Space Center carries out a variety of research related to space, including the development of rockets. Its staff members appear to be in a panic over observing an approaching asteroid!

After learning about the approach of the giant asteroid, you will have to travel around the Hoenn region in order to defend it against this threat from space. What could be the relationship between this asteroid and the event 3,000 years ago?

Even as the asteroid approaches, there is new movement from Team Magma or Team Aqua, depending on which game you play. It appears that one of the Team Admins—either Courtney or Matt—is targeting Trainers to steal the Key Stones needed to make Pokémon Mega Evolve

Plus! After receiving information about the asteroid's approach, Steven seems to move quickly to protect the Hoenn region. What will he have to do to fight back against this doom?

Rayquaza will appear before you, as well as Deoxys! The Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza is said to achieve Mega Evolution in a unique way, unlike other Pokémon, due to its unique biology.

Mega Rayquaza takes to the skies with you on its back, heading for the open sky! How will the battle with these two Pokémon end? What future lies in store for the Hoenn region? All will become clear in the Delta Episode!
