How does Buena's Password works? - Pokemon Forum

I'm listning on her show, but I don't know how to get some points, pls. tell me how?

(it's in Crystal version, I'm talking about)

i havent played crystal for a while but im pretty sure it works like this:

-u hear the password that she says on the radio (i believe you can only hear it at night)
-once youve heard the password go to goldenrod radio tower and talk to her.. (i think she is on the 2nd or 3rd floor)
-she will say a question and gives you 3 answers to choose from
-the word that she said before will be in those 3 answers... select the correct answer then she will give you a point.
-talk to the other woman there to trade in your points for prizes

hmm, but I tried that, she always tells me to listen in the radio, she doesn't say any questions for me.

have you already done it once? you said in another thread that your game is stuck on night time... and you can only answer her question once every night...

Yes, I tried to listen, I'm in Eukratic on that time, and its night. After that, I quickly go to talk to her in Radio Tower, She didnt ask me any, but to listen in the radio.
I did not told you, everytime I go in tyhe pokegear, the day changes.

You have to listen to Buena's Show during the day and she'll tell you her password then. Then at night (between 6pm and midnight) you have to go and talk to Buena in the radio tower and she'll ask you what the password was.

but I can hear her passwords at night. the time was stucked in mine, it means I wont be able to do what you've said.

i thought the radio only picked up the radio station at night... im sure of it

Her show is only on between 6pm and 12am, every day.
You listen, get the Password, and then go talk to her.
If you've listened to her show that day, that's when she'll ask you if you know the password. Otherwise, she'll just tell you to listen to her show.
If you've already gotten the password/ point that night, and you try again, she'll let you know you can only play once a day.
(just to recap)

If your PokeGear is messed up, stuck on a certain time of day, or changes days, then you probably can't play the Password Game.
What about it you go into the RadioGear and get the Password, then exit? Will the day be changed right away?

when I enter the pkegear, thats when the day changes, also when I got to look in the pokedex.

I did that, I get the password then exit then went to her, she always tells me to listen to the radio. Is it, you musnt go to her, until the 12am time passes?

After you have received the Blue Card from Buena's Assistant, at several points through the day (2am, 5am, 8am, 11pm, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm, 11pm), Buena's Password radio show will give out a question. You then need to go to Goldenrod's Radio Tower and meet Buena and give her the answer. She will give you three choices and if you select the correct one, you will receive points that you can later exchange form prizes

That's what you do.
