The game probably won't come out until next year and I'm already having trouble deciding which starter to pick.

I love the Pokemon Contests. Dance sounds cute, it's kinda like the anime.

Funny, the dance is the part I'm regretting. Unless they have MODERN dance patterns, I'd hate doin the part.

And by that I mean

Who'd want to see a Lucario dancin' the funky chicken?

Wouldn't you rather see, a Lucario Break Dancin'?

I just hope you don't like pick several spots and the sprite bounces from spot to spot.(RiiiiiiiiiP-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF)

I'm going to get diamond and pearl i can't decide between diaruga and parukia so I'll get all of them but even though they didn't appear on this site I can't help but wish the new starters were the fake phsychic fighting and dark pokemon the penguins myy favourite though and the ape is plain weird I guess the turtle things okay but I'm not to keen on the grass type starters (no offence)

Im going for the water starter. I never let my starters transform because they usually look coolest in their original form and they get their stronger attacks faster.

I agree. I did that with the Starters from the Hoenn region Games. Torchi had Flamethrower, Mudkip had Hydro Pump i think and Treekco's was corny but i still did it.

I wonder if the new Starters would be like that. I hope so because i like keeping them at the state until they learn that speciall move at that certain level.

fire monkey -> fiery chimp -> blazing gorilla/orangutan
water penguin -> erm... bigger penguin... -> bigger penguin with tuxedo?
grass turtle ->nature tortoise->grass-ier giant tortoise...

in anycase, I like the penguin =P

wait a minute... does that mean it's gonna be water/flying or water/ice??? that grass seems grass/ground as it evolves imo... and that fire hopefully has better SP.ATK than the previous starters, and better be NOT fire/fighting...

I like how all three of them look, though I would always use the pengy. Sometimes the turtle though.
