Can anyone tell me on how to use the special ability of Meowth(the pickup item).....

Just walk around with Meowth in your party and it will pick stuff up on it's own. Just make sure it's not already holding something or it won't be able to pick up anything else. And check it every ten minutes or so to see if it picked up something.

Yeah. And, also, in the latest games, the higher level the Meowth is, the better item you will get.
