Default Attack of the Chihuahuas!

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/...8EQMUI80.shtml

Quote:
A pack of angry Chihuahuas attacked a police officer who was escorting a teenager home after a traffic stop, authorities said.

The officer suffered minor injuries, including bites to his ankle, Detective Bill Veteran said.

The five Chihuahuas escaped the 17-year-old boy's home and rushed the officer in the doorway Thursday, authorities said.
Who knew the little bastards had it in 'em? Every chihuahua I've ever seen looked like it was about to die.

Default "Who wants to die?"

Toddler's talking 'Potty Time With Elmo' book asks "Who wants to die?".

http://www.local6.com/news/5784303/detail.html

Sounds like someone was having some fun at the factory.
I don't know if anyone else remembers but there was a news story a few years ago where a talking Teletubby toy said something that I won't repeat. I wonder if this sorta thing happens more often, but the parents aren't paying enough attention to notice.

The dolphin one was kinda freaky, but it still made me giggle.

The English are crazier than we thought.

The last three:

1. Hahaha. Well considering that I'm Canadian, and that my identity has been revealed long before, oh well. :P

2. True, alcohol in pill form. :)

3. Whoa, bloodshed? Around here, they just set up shop instead of using ice cream trucks. o_O

Default Alien with a slipper fetish on the loose!

http://mdn.mainichi-msn.co.jp/waiwai...dm005000c.html

Quote:
A most otherworldly perpetrator is being blamed for the bizarre theft of 77 right slippers from a suburban Tokyo girls' high school,...
Quote:
"Venetians tend to have friendly feelings toward Earthlings, so they're unlikely to do that sort of thing. Nearly all the aliens living together with humans are Martians. They're notorious for loving practical jokes. Take the mysterious field circles in Britain, or the cattle mutilation in the United States, where cows and calves were slaughtered in the fields and some of their meat carried off. Martians did all that," Nirasawa says. "I'd say the case of the stolen schoolgirl slippers was probably their doing, too. It's not unthinkable."
Quote:
"These aliens are probably either fetishists or Roricon-type Martians," Nirasawa tells Weekly Playboy, accusing the extraterrestrials of being pedophiles.

Default 7 year old girl weds dog

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060222/...N5bnN1YmNhdA--

This actually seems to happen pretty often in India. I see one of these stories like once a year.

They are a very superstitious people, and believe in all types of signs & omens as harbingers of bad luck to come.
So if a child is forecast to have bad luck for whatever reason (broken leg, light colored hair... in this case the kid's upper teeth came in before the lower ones ). They will arrange for the afflicted child to marry a dog; somehow transfering the bad luck to the dog, leaving the child free to live a life reletively free of bad luck. This is always preformed when the child is very young so that by the time they are an adult the dog will have have passed on and they are free to marry normally.

Quote:
A 12-year-old visitor to the Detroit Institute of Arts stuck a wad of gum to a $1.5 million painting, leaving a stain the size of a quarter, officials say.

Holly Academy director Julie Kildee said the boy had been suspended from the charter school and says his parents also have disciplined him.
He must be one stupid kid.
