Are 5th Gen Pokemon the strongest of them all ?

Recently I was looking through a list that the pokemon company put out. It shows the top 2 pokemon in each type field. With 17 types, 34 pokmon were chosen...16 of those pokemon were from black and white. Here is a list of how many "elite" pokemon the others had.
Gen 1=1
Gen 2=3
Gen 3=6
Gen 4=6



So my question remains, was Gen 5 made to be the strongest gen ?

Really? Only one from Gen 1? Do you have a link to the list, I'd love to see what Pokemon were chosen.

It wouldn't surprise me if Gen 5 was the strongest. It seems like they have to get bigger and better each time to keep people interested...

When I get the guide Ill post the list for everyone to see. Honestly with pokemon like Darmanitan, Haxorus, Conkeldurr and Archeops running around is it a shock that they have the strongest?
