Missing Types

In the anime, Ash has never caught a Steel, Dark, or Psychic Pokemon. If he were to catch one of these, which one would you prefer him to catch?

I've always seen Ash with a Pawniard, however since Georgia has one it is unlikely ash will capture one.

As for Psychic, I can see him catching a Eevee and it evolving into an Espeon.

Hmm. There really aren't that many Steel or Dark types. I could see Ash with an Aron since it's pretty cute. I think he would pair up well with a Lucario though. He obviously has some aura thing going on!

Dark-types... I think it would be awesome if he got a Houndour. It's a bit of a shame he generally gets all the starters cos then he hardly ever gets to use other Grass/Fire/Water types. xD

Psychic's a tough one. It doesn't seem to fit Ash so much. Espeon makes sense, since Red had one in GSC. I guess I could see him with a Solosis.

For a Steel type, I don't think any of them really fit Ash, however I think either a Skarmory or Bisharp would be the best choice.

For Psychic, the obvious choice is Mr. Mime, because his mother owns one.

Doesn't he already have two Dark type Pokémon in the Black and White animé?
Besides them, a Dark type I could see him using is Deino/Zwellious, because I feel that they kind of suit Ash, except I wouldn't want him to get their final evolution.

I'd see ask running with a Solosis or Alakazam though.
For Steel, Lucario. Quite the obvioius link.
And dark, Deino/Zwellious. We don't want him to win his battles in the blink of an eye with his Hydreigon.

Ash already has a Dark type with Scraggy.

If Iris didn't have it then Excadrill would be a good fit for Ash. He doesn't do well with the defensive or the slow Pokemon so a speedy steel type would be up his alley.

I can't think of any psychics that Ash would work with. That type has always been a bit exclusive.

For steel type I could so see him getting a magneton/magnezone idk seems like his style.

For dark I would go with Sandile because of that one from B/W with the sunglasses.

As for psychic I could see him befriending a weird grumpig that is happy instead of grumpy///

Ash already has two dark-type Pokemon, one being Scraggy and the other being the Krokorok with the sunglasses. If he didn't have those, however, I can see him with an Umbreon, Mightyena, or Dieno.

For steel-type, I have to agree with everyone else. Lucario would be a good choice. If not that then maybe Aagron since he usually always has a powerhouse on his team.

Psychic is a little harder to think of. I agree with Espeon since it seems like a good Pokemon. However I think a good psychic Pokemon for him would also be Latias.

I agree with pairing Ash and the sunglasses wearing Krokorok.

Psychic type doesn't really suit Ash. It's more stategy and Ash is more...well winging-it and hoping he wins.

Lucario and Aron would be good steel type matches.

Boldore is steel and Krokorok and Scraggy are dark

Boldore is a rock-type, not steel.

And here's a list of all of Ash's Pokemon. He's never had a steel or psychic-type, even if temporarily.

I'd love to see ash with a hypo just because it would be completely useless and he would get aggravated.
