Default Pokemon on 3DS XL

Recently have been wanting to play pokemon again but sold my dsi over a year ago and just wanted to see if its worth buying a 3DS xl to play pokemon games on it.

Just want to know if it will be pix elated too much to play.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place to put it :)

Hi there!

My personal opinion on the XL series is pretty low, but that's more or less because I never really saw the point of them or anything. From what I hear, the colors aren't that great on the XL compared to the actual 3DS system itself, but I'm not 100% sure or anything even remotely close, so you have to do some research yourself on that. D:

My personal recommendation is to just get a regular 3DS, though if you're the type of person who prefers big screens, then the XL just might be for you!

The DS xL caused pixel stretching… and was very annoying to play… fuzziess… well for me at least Dx
I'd say go with a normal 3ds… or a ds lite… I think lites are pretty cheap…

I've heard that the 3DS XL won't cause pixel distortion - don't use people's experience with the DSi/DS XL for comparison because they are completely different consoles to the 3DS variant.

Also, I do believe that the screens revert to the usual DS size on the 3DS XL when playing DS games, so you won't get any issues.

Be sure to look on YouTube for things like this as well :D

i have one, and it does cause a little pic distortion but it doesnt full stretch across the whole screen and i kinda like the bigger screen to play on myself. Have both the DSi and XL3DS, im playing white on the big screen.

Older games, like B/W and HG/SS etc, will not extend to the who screen horizontally. They are stretched vertically, which causes a bit of distortion with both the 3DS and 3DS XL, but you get used to it fast, and it really doesn't disrupt the game play imo. I have a 3DS XL (I got it the day it came out in US), and I really enjoy it. :)
