I entered the route silently and glumly. The nice aesthetics of the beaches or the prospect of new Pokemon to catch (which was pointless anyway as I didn't have any Poke Balls) did little to cheer up my mood. Mortull and Pleasant trailed me as silent as I, perhaps desperate to understand what was going on.

Entered Route 7 from Route 5.

Random enquiries from strangers did little to improve my mood either.

"You want to see a Pokemon that suits me?" I asked her, pulling a Poke Ball from my belt. "Well, look no further than Monster!"

I released my Finneon. She chirped politely at the connoisseur, trying to flash her eyes at the trainer. "Fin fin!"

"Our outfits even match!" I proclaimed.

She looked at Finneon. Then she bit the fins on it's head. "FIIIIIIIN!" it cried. She released.

"This Finneon...what a weakling! MAYBE you could get, eh, 10 stars for it at the Pokemon Black Market?" She laughed. She then happily skipped away.

I shrugged at Danie's comment - I knew of Monster's power, I didn't need anyone else to tell me. The fish Pokemon just looked up and stare at the connoisseur, acting like nicer words had never been spoken.

"Fin fin!" She was still smiling.

As the girl walked away, I recalled Monster to her Poke Ball and picked up a shiny disc. I put the TM Rock Tomb into my bag and walked into the gates of Aurora City.

Leaving Route 7 and entering Aurora City.

"I want to evolve." He spouted. Before I had a chance to say anything, he began to glow. He evolved into Quilava!

"Volcano! Awesome!" I shouted.

Then Flaaffy evolved too. Well, best not dwell. Let's get going.

"Oh you poor thing!" I slowly ease it's head out of the sand and brush the sand off of it's fur. It cries suddenly.

You do know Doduo have two heads, right? You remove one of its heads from the sand, causing it bad back pain and irritability. It begins to snap and peck at you, angry that you hadn't helped it completely.

"So," I spoke. "About 14 hours until we reach Route 5." I stated.

"UGH. I'm so tired..." Tsuni complained.

"Wanna go in your Pokeball?" I asked her.

"Not until we all settle down." She frowned.

"Let's settle right now then." I smiled. Everyone smiled.

I set up the tent, the fire, and the boiling water. I tucked in Volcano, the Quilava, and returned Tsuni to her Pokeball.

Now what?

"I don't know..." I wonder. "Titan, Tsuni, Hydro! Go! Guard the tent, okay?!"

"Of course!" Tsuni cried.

"Quilava, Gothita, Torchic, come with me!"

We run off into the distance to find the crying animal.

You rush away with your Pokemon, determined to save the crying thing from impending doom! It sounds so sweet and innocent! What ill could have befallen something so precious?!

As the cries grow louder, you finally spot something small and blue wailing at the top of its lungs. The Azurill is looking you directly in the eyes as it screams with all its might. Kind of creepy, really.

Joy fills you as you see the wild Azurill! You prepare to call your first move when suddenly the thing turns around, jumps into the water and disappears. For real. Insert sad face here.

As you wallow in the disappointment you hear a commotion from back at your camp!
