Mewtwo Invasion: Results Tournament

Entry period begins February 1st and ends February 15th at 11:59PM GMT-5/Central Time Zone

Welcome to WFL's Results Tournament! Before giving you guys the details on how the mechanics of this tournament works, this tournament came from the battling centers past and it showed great results in helping increase the number of battles.

Tournament Rules/Guidelines:

* Matches posted must have taken place within 24 hours.
* No pokemon that have been purchased or captured beyond Route 6 can be used (this is to create a balance in battling levels, starters will be usable.)
* Challengers must use similar level types. ( If a new trainer only has two first stage pokemon you can only battle him with two first stage pokemon. This again is about fairness of battles.)
* Matches can be record but its not required.
* You may not battle the same person over 2 times per day for the tournament. (If you are having your 5 daily battles with someone. The first two are the ones you can claim here.)
* Post the results in the correct format. (Look at example)
* All matches will be revolved on Singles/Doubles. But before the match, make sure you two come to an agreement before-hand.
* If you are challenged you must complete the battle (unless the hours do not match up.) If you ignore the request it will cost you as a loss of point for a loss.
* If a D/C occur, then it will be counted as a "Draw". Here are some prime examples:

A score like this: "2-3 or 3-4". Then it will be a "Draw"

A score like this: "3 [And higher]-1. Then it will be counted as a win for the winning trainer.
* If you feel your opponent was using hacks, then step into a trade after the match is fully complete.
* This v. will last for no more than three weeks. So three weeks from this day, this thread will be locked and no other matches will be counted.
* Pokemon such as Kangaskan,Scyther,Pinser..Etc will be considered final evolution, they can not be used against stage one pokemon.
* You and your opponent must post the matches up here.


Before you post the match and if it's your first time posting in this thread, then fill up the form so that you can automatically be on the second post. When you post the results of the match, post it in this form:

TRAINER 1 vs. TRAINER 2 = WINNER

Battling Rules

1. Format: The following rules will be required for all battles:

* No triple battles.
* Level 25
* you may use up to four pokemon but no more. (Again remember this will change based on your opponent)


2. Clauses: The following clauses will be required for all battles:
* Species Clause: You must use six different Pokémon on your team. You can't have two Chimchars on your team.
* Self-KO Clause: You cannot use moves like Explosion or Destiny Bond on your last Pokémon if it will force a tie.
* Sleep Clause: You can only put to sleep one Pokémon on an opponent's side at any time. If you use Spore to put one Pokémon asleep, you cannot use it again to put another Pokémon asleep until the first one wakes up.
* Evasion Clause: Moves that specifically increase evasion are banned. Double Team is an example of a banned move.
* OHKO Clause: Moves that have a chance of automatically OHKOing a Pokémon are banned. An example is Sheer Cold.

3. Disconnecting: The following is an explanation of different disconnecting circumstances:
* Lag: If a disconnection is accompanied by lag, the disconnection will result in a rematch. The player winning the match at the time of the disconnection will admit to the lag during the match. If lag was present prior to the disconnection, there will be a rematch.
* Intentional: If a disconnection is unaccompanied by lag, the disconnection will result in a decision. The player winning the match at the time of the disconnection will be given the win if the disconnection had any correlation to any circumstance in the game that could've been unfavorable to the person losing. The same can be said for someone losing the game, but making a comeback. The match will be determined based on its particular circumstances.
