There are so many different things they could do to shake up the main series. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like they ever will. xD

One thing I would like to see in a new game (not necessarily a main series) is a new battle style. I have been playing PokePark and even though it is simplistic, I think the battle style there is MUCH more fun than just selecting moves. For those who haven't played, you actually have to move around and use different attacks, basically like in Super Smash Bros. I've always thought Pokemon battles should be more interactive. I think a full 3D Wii/Wii U RPG game (think Colosseum/XD but bigger) would be perfect with this kind of battle style.

^ A bit like PMD too. I'd love to see one of those games become 3D - and not like the one that came out in Japan only. I'm talking full on models, and let your friends play as your partners if needed - a bit like Digimon World 4 in a sense. ...Actually, a lot like that. Look up game play and you'll see what I mean.

I'd love an MMO - free, along the lines of Digimon Masters Online - of Pokemon. Customize your character, maybe even your Pokemon (Aggron with armor would be aaaawesome) with the above type of battling.

Being able to move around and get more interactive with the battle would be awesome! Like, just having the option to dodge would be a huge step.

And YESSS! The Pokemon world seems perfect for a MMO.

I Love the gym leader idea
i actually have created 6 5-pokemonteams for if i had a gym
and also have offered for my friends to challenge them

It could work this way.
after you beat the game you sync your pokemon to the
MyPokeGym game on the wii and create your gym
and then you play others as Poppy said
Gyms are rated on a scale of difficulty (1-10)
and you have a leader stat page
