Do your friends know you like Pokemon?

Do people in "real life" know you like Pokemon?

I don't really tell anyone. I probably wouldn't deny it if someone asked me directly, but otherwise I don't mention it or anything. A couple of my friends know because they've seen my bedroom which is filled with Pokemon stuff. xD

I wish I could be more open about liking Pokemon so I could find some Pokemon-buddies in "real life"... I am too shy to bring it up though, even when I see people with Pokemon drawings on their books or playing with Pokewalkers.

I know very few people who are into Pokemon. Most of them my family, but all of my family has grown out of it and doesn't play anymore. My brother and cousin actually used to be on the forum. :P I'm exactly as you are, not telling anyone and denying it, probably because people would be all like, "Lol that's a stupid kids game". A few of my friends know from the Pokemon merchandise I own too! :3

I have one friend who is into Pokemon, but we're not really close friends and it's not really going well between us. :P

So basically, I'm the only one. XD

Yeah, same with me xD Once I started going into higher grades I stopped talking about it as much, I only talk about it with friends who like pokemon, and only when there isn't someone around who doesn't like pokemon, that is.

My friends are mostly anime dorks so they know I like Pokemon. Even if they are not anime fans then they would find out eventually. Either I will wear a Pokemon shirt or it will slip out of me.

I know like one other person in my class that likes Pokemon, so it kind of sucks to be able to only to about pokemon to one other person. It would be awesome if there was something like a pokemon school.

Oh yeah, they know. Partially because part of my introduction is mentioning that my only trophy is from being the Minnesota State Champion.

Most, if not all, of them do. I hang out with a bunch of Anime nerds so they don't mind it. Sometimes I'll mention it to others (like my fencing crowd) and they won't think much of it. Thankfully some of them are gaming nerds too, lol.

I feel the same, very few people know that I like Pokemon. I think there's only like two actually. I wouldn't deny it anymore if people asked me, but I don't just tell people. I'm not embarassed to buy Pokemon cards or games because when people give me funny looks I just tell them " Yes it's for kids, but an adult made this game. I want to someday help in the design that goes into making these games." and they just nod and leave me alone.

Most of my friends know that I like Pokemon. They know that because, well, they like Pokemon, too. xD If anyone asked me if I like Pokemon, I'd be open and not give a flying fudge (lol?) about their negative opinion. It's none of their business whether or not I like Pokemon and they shun me for that. I LIEK POKEMON AND I'M PROUD! I should say that one day in a crowd.

Only two know outside my family--er, and one found out right in the same fell swoop that I also do fanfiction xD It was pretty funny xD But yeah, I'm usually pretty shy about admitting I like Pokemon... ^^' Wish it were otherwise xD

Pfft, I don't give a shizzle if people know I like pokemon. xD Pretty much anyone I know knows I like it. My profile picture on facebook is a flareon. XD My friends don't mind, and a lot of them are like "LOL I USED TO PLAY POKEMON! =D" so none of them care. XD It's great. I would find a new group of friends if mine didn't accept my pokemon-ness. One of them plays it too, which is great, although she's not nearly as into it as me.

On the topic of Pokemon Prof...

It REALLY bothers me when someone likes Pokemon, but they are basivally clueless. I was ditting in luch and listening to people talk, and they were like, "HUR DURR THERE A NEW POKEMON GAME COMING OUT I THINK RESHIROM AND ZEKRAM ARE IN IT AND SNYVY AND TEPEG AND OSHOWAT LOL"

I especially hate it when my friends suck at it. XDD

Some of my friends know because well they love pokemon too! XD But outside of the friends that play it I really dont tell anyone else unless they would ask me directly or come into my room and see my pokemon merchandise.
