Default Starter pokemon challenge.

Very simple and easy way to play. Simply pick your starter pokemon as you normally do however, you will release it after you have caught your first pokemon. This adds spice to the game as you experience the game in a different sense. Not only that but it gives you some excitement because you get a whole other angle. Play the game as you normally do, or switch it up by making it a nuzlock. Now you'll know how every other trainer feels when they start their journey with a pidgey or Ratatta. Good luck to you all :D

PS. If you come up with any other way to spice up the game feel free to leave a comment with ideas.

Default Re: Starter pokemon challenge.

A fun variation to the Starter Pokemon Challenge could be done in Black and White. After you release your starter, you have to use the elemental monkey you get in the Dreamyard as your starter, keeping it on your team and even refusing to evolve it if you want that extra level of difficulty.
