Default Re: [RP] Digimon: The Reckoning

Lexin Virtik, True Digidestined
Dayton, Ohio
ARP: DoH

Terry nodded as he was given the buttered bread. The Gummymon let it sit there for a while, turning back to his own food. He bit in.

Angle started at the Impmon as the the creature got himself a croissant. The little demon seemed to favor calling himself by his species name. Angle wondered why, as it was easier to say 'Angle' to 'Angemon.' The Patamon decided that it was up to the Impmon to decide his own title. The bread was good, providing nourishment. Terry had been smart, asking for butter. While the Digimon could eat without the need for... accessories, Lexin would want something to compliment the taste of his food.

Lexin was still asleep, and while he turned in what appeared the throes of a nightmare, he was getting rest. He couldn't talk, so he continued staring at the Impmon.

He could tell both seemed suspicious of each other. Angle himself didn't know if he even trusted that Pagumon, but they both wanted to fight for good, against Anarcomon. Angle once knew a Digimon like that, a Gaogamon, like that boy's, the one who was just sitting there in shock. That Gaogamon thought he would fight for good. Then he took one look at a MirageGaogamon in the Army, and joined up with evil.

Angle knew that those two Digimon would have to resist a lot if they encountered an enemy. They had already brilliantly squared off against a doppelganger, a mummy, a mammoth, and an overblown rabbit, but there was still a long way to go before Anarcomon was defeated.

Andrew Starker, Lone Wolf
Polar Icecap, Digital World
ARP: Obliveon

Adam stared at the little Briskmon, as it asked away about where her family was. What a pathetic little brat. The VictoryGreymon raised his large sword, and pointed at the little legless bear.

“Matthias, destroy that creature.”

Matthias, the Mojyamon, jumped at the small animal, raising his fist. He was about to land on the creature, when he was blinded by a sudden flash. The motion of falling, and he got up.

A Wizardmon was there. The Candlemon had digivolved in a flash. A small cloud appeared in the Wizardmon's hand.

“Incredibly fast as always, my old friend,” Adam said.

“You keep this small Digimon out of this,” Andrew replied, his eyes squinting.

“I won't,” the VictoryGreymon replied, smiling, “Now I suggest you surrender, otherwise I'll have to kill you, Starker.”

Andrew looked around at his opponents. The Mojyamon, Matthias, seemed a bit surprised at Casper. Adam and the SkullSatamon were still on the hill. They were outnumbered, and outmatched as well, since Casper couldn't go to Mega without serious strains on Andrew. Adam knew this, and was using it to his advantage, having a defenseless Digimon get in the way of what should have been a close fight.

“Casper,” Andrew said, “Attack.”

Casper nodded, and the cloud suddenly became dark, and fired lightning. The Mojyamon was hit, and it roared in pain, tumbling backwards a bit. The SkullSatamon jumped down from the hill, swinging its staff at the small polar bear, but Casper jumped, blocking the staff with his own sun-tipped stick. The Mojyamon got up, and blew cold air on the wizard.

Casper shivered, but fire appeared suddenly from his staff. Knocking back the SkullSatamon, he threw the fire at the Mojyamon, who dodged, rolling along.

Andrew grunted in pain. Since Casper was a Champion now, it put more strain than usual on his body. This fight was going to be tough.

OOC: Doing a bit of a time-skip here, several hours into the future. Sheep and Obliveon, you guys can still work out your conflict over your next few posts if you want to; not everything has to happen at the same time. After all, the outcome of the fight can eventually catch up to current events.

Also, have fun. >:D

IC: Anarcomon
Location: Digital World, Eastern Shore Keep
Role: Anarcomon’s Army
Affected RPers: Everyone

He smiled as he stood upon the battlement of the Keep, staring at a giant stream of multi-colored energy in the distance. It was so far away that it was almost invisible, but the sheer size of it even from so far away marked it as a Major Stream. He’d received word of it a few days ago and had been tracking its progress with his various spies and agents, constantly calibrating his cannon and waiting for the Stream to be within range.

It was time.

Behind him was a ten-foot conductor pole, atop of which sat a sphere with a diameter of roughly twenty feet. Ultra-condensed digital energy was streaming upwards to the sphere; the energy was so pure and raw that it radiated an intense heat as it traveled. The sphere itself was putting out enough light to been seen from dozens of miles away, having been fed energy from several sources below the Keep for about ten minutes now. A powerful hum filled the air around him, making it vibrate.

“Yol,” he said, clapping his hands to punctuate the strange word.

Not even a second later, a huge beam of white energy exploded from the sphere with a roar, arching into the air as it tore away. By this time the Major Stream had moved several hundred feet closer; at the speeds these particular fields could move, it took meticulous calculations to know when to fire the cannon. He watched as the attack streaked through the sky, moving almost as fast as its target was. In only a handful of seconds, the attack reached its destination.

The result was instantaneous and tremendous. The attack struck the Major Stream and easily tore through it, creating a gaping hole that would have left the Stream severely unstable in itself. As it was, the sheer amount of friction and raw energy created by the collision and tearing of separate sources was enough to cause an explosion of titanic magnitudes. At first it was concentrated in the area that the cannon blast hit, but it quickly progressed both up and down the Stream, following the enormous beam of connecting data from its source to where it touched the ground.

Where the main explosion erupted there was now a field of distorted data, resembling something like a crackling blue void stretching several miles tall and at least a mile wide. When it reached the ground it tore a large crater into the earth, disintegrating it to a depth of about half a mile and a diameter of nearly three miles. The aftershock of the explosion caused a powerful quake that tore gaping chasms dozens of feet long and deep into the ground.

When it reached that critical area that merged the Real and Digital Worlds, it blew a literal hole between the two realities. Communication grids world-wide went on the fritz, millions lost internet connections, cell phone towers the world over went dead. In several countries, power grids were knocked offline, plunging a countless number of cities and towns into complete darkness. In some places, nuclear plants went critical thanks to the loss of systems that regulated them and warned of dangerous situations.

He smiled at the destruction that had been reaped. He knew the impact of the destroyed Stream was worse in the Real World; hundreds, even thousands of people would lose their lives within just a few hours of the attack. Many who died would be those who opposed him, others would be their loved ones. It would be a heavy blow to the forces of the DigiDestined, to be sure. Not to say there wouldn’t be casualties in the Digital World as well, though. Indeed, the backlash of energy that had spread from the explosion would wipe out weaker Digimon before it fully dispersed, not only destroying their physical forms but most likely also completing deleting their data, permanently wiping them from existence. None of it mattered to him; all that was important was he was one step closer to combining the Worlds.

And one step closer to ruling them.

Shitai Ningyo | Quetzalmon
Location: Digital World, En Route to the Eastern Shore Keep
Role: Anarcomon’s Army
Affected RPers: n/a

They’d been traveling for hours, having to stop several times to rest. They’d only been attacked a few times, mostly by small groups of Champion-level Digimon too hopped up on their egos to realize they were sorely outmatched. It hadn’t been nearly enough to wear the girls and their pets down to a suitable level, but it had drained them of a decent amount of energy. All in all, it was going fairly well, if maddeningly slow.

And then Shitai noticed a glow appearing above the Keep, all the more noticeable since dusk was coming. At first she could only stare, unable to believe the cursed luck she was running into. The others were uncomfortable with what was happening, and Shitai wasn’t able to convince them that it was most likely a harmless beacon of some kind.

And then of course the cannon fired, and moments later hell broke loose as yet another Major Stream was felled. She saw the distorted field that was ripped into the Digital World, felt the earth tremble from the quake in the distance, and heard the distant but very clear echoes of the blast. Quetzalmon cringed a little as the backlash of digital energy washed over them; it made Shitait’s skin tingle unpleasantly as it passed.

The worst time for this to happen! she fumed silently as the BlackGuilmon growled and generally made himself irritating. The other Digimon were making it clear they didn’t like the present situation either, and the blonde-haired “Tamer” looked frightened by what was happening. Her sister simply looked concerned and, unless Shitai was imagining things, suspicious. Unless we give ourselves away and force them to the Keep, there’s probably no other way of getting them there. Why did this have to happen NOW of all times?!

Kilara Blake | Impmon (IceDevimon) | DemiDevimon (Devimon)
Location: Dayton, Ohio, Unites States
Role: True DigiDestined
Affected RPers: Sheepat, Obliveon

Impmon sensed it a few seconds before the quake hit. He was thrown to the floor, quickly gaining his feet as Laura gave a cry of surprise. She grabbed a counter as she toppled over, managing to catch herself before hitting the tile floor. Several containers were shaken off their shelves to bust open on the floor, and the chairs were all pretty much knocked over. Various utensils and pots were sent to the floor as well, adding more din to the overall racket of the quake itself.

Nimbly dodging falling objects, Impmon made his way back to Kilara’s bedroom. She was on the floor, most likely having been shaken from the bed by the powerful heaves of the ground. Pagumon was pressed against her, his eyes wide as he spotted Impmon coming into the bedroom.

“This…this isn’t right!” the little Digimon said, yelling to be heard over the sound of other things crashing to the floor in other parts of the house. “This is-“ He was cut off as a loud groan pierced the air from outside; a loud cracking sound then rang out, closely followed by a deafening boom. A brilliant burst of orange-red shone through the room’s two windows, temporarily lighting the bedroom as brightly as the midday sun. The windows themselves were shattered by an intense blast, and Impmon rushed over to yank the blanket off the bed. He managed to pull it over himself and his partners before too much glass reached them, but a few random shards still managed to hit Kilara’s arms. She winced as they embedded themselves in her flesh and gingerly plucked them out, waiting a few seconds before peeking out from under the blanket. She then tossed the shards under her bed and carefully folded the blanket back onto the bed, trying to avoid spilling too much glass on herself or her partners.

At the same time there were more explosions ringing out, though the quake itself was dying down. By now Kilara’s parents had reached the room, confusion and fear clear in their expressions. Laura had returned as well and was standing by one of the broken windows, a look of utter bewilderment on her face. Kilara felt her gut twist at the younger girl’s expression, then turned to the window she was near and moved the curtains aside. It took her mind a few moments to work out what she was seeing, but when it did, all traces of tiredness were replaced by numb shock.

The quake that had struck had torn huge fissures into the ground and must have hit a gas main or something, since several houses down the street (including the one right next door) had quite literally blown up and were now burning fiercely. There was flaming debris scattered everywhere, and droves of people were gathered in tight knots as they stared at the destruction that had been wrought. There were several burning objects that looked distressingly human-shaped…

Kilara turned from the window as her stomach churned painfully, unable to bear looking at the devastation. Instead she focused on her partners, blinking in surprise to see both of them had, at some point, Digivolved to Champion level. She didn’t feel any sort of strain from it, though, and in an instant her mind made the connection.

“Another Stream has been destroyed,” she said softly, not needing to ask. She must have been too shocked by the level of destruction to have not felt such a powerful burst of digital energy that it made her partners both go to their next forms. Devimon and IceDevimon didn’t respond, knowing there was no need to. The only time they ever Digivolved like this was when a Major Stream was destroyed, which allowed not only a large initial blast of digital energy into the Real World, but allowed a larger and more steady influx of it afterward. For the next several hours their current forms would be powered solely by the raw digital energy now flowing through the Real World; once it dissipated fully, they would either need to revert back to their Rookie forms or risk slowly draining Kilara’s energy.

“This is…much worse than last time,” Devimon commented after a moment as Kilara’s parents joined Laura in ogling the destruction outside. “With every Stream Anarcomon destroys, the aftermath is becoming more and more profound. If he manages to get another one…it may completely wipe out certain areas, if this one hasn’t already. I fear to learn the full extent of the damage caused by this attack…”

[Pupmon/Morimon-Dayton Ohio, U.S.][Role: True Digidestined][Arp: None really, maybe DoH]

Pupmon stopped cold, halfway through a loaf of bread that now stuck out of his mouth. He gulped down the rest of it and began to glow, then abruptly Digivolved to Morimon. For a Rookie he was fairly large and could hold his own against most things, but this made him shiver.

His orange eyes glowed and he growled lowly, jumping as nimbly as a gazelle out of one of the windows that had been broken from the deafenening boom. He ran a few more paces and stopped, looking up at the sky.

Above him what should have been a twilight colored space filled with stars was now pitch black. An enormous hole, not unlike a black hole, was tearing apart the sky. Little particles of data and digital matrices could be seen in and coming from the hole.

Morimon growled so harshly it almost sounded like the muffled roar of a jackhammer. "Anarcomon." He spat under his breath. He knew it had to be the evil Digimon's doing. Though he had no idea what Anarcomon looked like, he had also know it was he who destroyed the Thunder Plains. If he was capable of things like that, he was more than capable of something like this.

[Briskmon/Isamon - Polar Icecap, Digital World][Role: True Digidestined][Arp: Sheepat]

Briskmon closed her eyes in shock as the battle spread out before her. The Candlemon had evolved and was battling two Digimon at once. Briskmon opened her eyes again, narrowing them. How mean! I'm gonna freeze them so bad they won't defrost for a millenium. she thought.

Briskmon was engulfed in a bright light. She felt an energy surge, coming from the area itself, and welcomed it. When she next opened her eyes, she was faintly aware of the shining plates of ice covering her face and paws.

She ran a paw across her nose in a confident sort of manner. "Now this isn't very fair is it?" She asked, grinning. Her long black claws scraped the ice as she moved forward a few feet. "Howling Blizzard Blast!" She roared, unleashing a bright blue blast of frigid energy from her jaws.

It struck the Mojyamon, freezing solid one of his legs to the knee. "Double teaming isn't nice, and neither is picking on a little Digimon looking for her momma." She growled, her smile turning to a frown as she slunk heavily forward toward the three opposing Digimon.

The explosion was deafening, as Lexin awoke, his eyes popping open as images of destruction raced through his mind. Of a Major Stream exploding, obliterating part of London. Digimon and people screaming, Angle, in his Mega form of Seraphimon, dueling off against a WarGreymon. Lexin knew immediately. Another Stream had been destroyed.

Angle had digivolved from the energy, back into his regular Angemon form. He grunted a bit in surprise, and looked down at his partner.

“I know,” Lexin said, looking around. Debris was strewn about, and the girl's parents were running around frantically.

“The girl is Kilara,” Angle said quickly, searching around the kitchen for any victims, “The other girl is Laura, and the boys are John and Keith,” The Angemon turned around, “Where's Terry?”

A Rapidmon burst through a small space that was too tiny for it. He looked around awkwardly. Why was everything so low now?

“Well well,” Lexin said, “If it isn't Terry, the Rapidmon.”

The Ultimate Digimon looked now at his giant hands- no, guns- in surprise. His ears had grown large, and he was covered in armor, save for his stomach, which as very thing. He wasn't fat anymore, unlike as a Gargomon.

“Hi, guys,” Terry said, blushing a bit.

“We don't have time,” Angle said, “Let's head outside, look for survivors.”

“There won't be many, Angle,” Lexin replied, “We've been through this before.”

“This isn't like the London Eye!” the Angemon yelled, “This is a neighborhood! Let's get to work!”

The new Digimon breathed onto the Mojyamon, freezing his leg up to the knee. Matthias grunted in surprise.

“You want ice?” he said, “I'll give you ice-”

A sudden sonic boom, as data started flying everywhere. Matthias suddenly screamed, as a large chunk of a house smashed into him, turning him into data that went into the SkullSatamon.

The Ultimate Digimon glowed, and grew. His staff disappeared, and he donned biker clothes. A tail slithered along the cold earth like a snake, ready to strike. A Beelzemon, the SkullSatamon's Mega form.

“Well this is unexpected,” Beelzemon said, grinning, “I hope you like death.”

The sonic boom had digivolved Casper into Mistymon, the wizard holding his flaming sword.

“We're at a disadvantage here, Andrew,” the Ultimate said, “We're up against two Megas. That polar bear- she won't last long against Adam.”

“I know,” Andrew replied, and his eye caught something in the distance. An idea was forming in his head, but he needed time.

“Casper, pull out of the fight.”

“What?!”

“Just do it!”

The Mistymon grimaced, as he deflected bullets from Beelzemon, but he jumped out quickly.

“Can you distract them?” Andrew asked the polar bear, “We need more time! Just delay them, play with them!”

“Don't try it,” Adam said, “It won't work.”

“Like you know anything, Adam,” Andrew growled, his voice being carried away by the wind. Casper kneeled, the data in his body forming itself, ready to restructure his form. It was almost ready.

OOC: The sonic boom was from the Major Stream, in case anyone wondered.

"I think-" She was cut off. "Whoa." Isamon felt a sudden energy surge. "Wha-" She began to glow and abruptly Digivolved again. Frigidmon blinked. She stood on two legs now and had thick white fur. Her ice blue eyes glowed behind the ornate silver armour covering her body.

She looked down at her paws and tail and her armour. "Whoa. Never been this Digimon before. Wonder what kinda power I have..." She said, stepping forward. "I can handle them for now. Just hurry up would you?" She said, hunching her body in preparation for battle.

Kilara Blake | Impmon (IceDevimon) | DemiDevimon (Devimon)

I heard voices from the kitchen saying to look for survivors outside, though they were muffled and barely audible thanks to the roaring blaze of the buildings nearby. I could hear sirens as well, in the distance but quickly drawing nearer. There were random screams coming from outside, people who had lost their homes or shrieking for people trapped inside the burning houses. Laura and I caught each other’s eyes and I nodded once. She looked outside towards Birdramon, who had managed to get through one of the shattered windows just before Digivolving into a gargantuan bird. The avian spread her wings with a shriek as Laura carefully climbed through the window and joined her partner.

“We’ll get started, see what we can do about helping some of these people,” the girl said. I nodded and turned to my parents, who were staring outside with mixed expressions of shock , confusion, and fear. Devimon and IceDevimon were standing near them, their postures full of tension. When he noticed me looking at them, my father waved a hand towards the window.

“His doing?”

“Yes,” I answered.

“It’s getting worse,” Dad muttered, and Devimon made an aimless waving motion of his own.

“Indeed it is, but for now we need to focus on helping people that have been hurt or might be trapped,” he said. “I heard Lexin’s partners talking, they’ve Digivolved as well and are going to assist survivors. We should get out there and assist them; the ambulances are still a fair distance away and it’ll take time for them to get here.”

“For now, ya should head down ta tha basement,” IceDevimon added. “Seems like tha worst o’ it is over, but there might be more shockwaves comin’ that ain’t hit yet. Least it’s sturdy down there, no windows ta get glass all over ya, not a lotta stuff ta fall over ‘n’ such.”

“Be careful,” Mom replied. She and Dad then tuned and headed for the basement door, leaving me and the others. John was awake but didn’t seem to notice any of what was going on, and Keith had an expression of helpless anger on his face. I could tell he wanted to help, but until his partner’s data was sent back to the Digital World to be reconfigured, there wasn’t a lot he could do. After a moment he sighed and glanced at John.

“I’ll keep an eye on him, make sure nothing happens,” he said. “I guess we can go to the basement too, safest place for now.” He then stood and shifted John, getting the other boy’s arm around his shoulders and heaving him to his feet. The two then shuffled off after my parents, disappearing around a corner a few seconds later. I faced my partners and found both of them wearing dark expressions, but they didn’t say anything. There was nothing to say, seeing as we’d gone through this several times already. We knew what to expect and how to deal with it, so the only thing left to do was to get to it.

And so it went. IceDevimon was using his Avalanche Claw to smother the fire and clear the smoke in various places, leaving Devimon free to dart in and search for trapped residents. In roughly ten minutes we’d cleared three houses, saving a few trapped people and animals from the raging blazes and deadly smoke laying waste to the houses. We also managed to pull a man from his house, only to watch him succumb to vicious burns covering his entire body a few moments later. It was horrible top simply leave his body on the ground, but there was nothing to be done for him and there were other people who needed to be found before they met the same fate.

And then there were other buildings that had been either partially or fully demolished by the quake, not to mention the people caught in or under the debris. Some had been crushed, others mangled beyond recognition. Even though I’d seen such horrors before, I still couldn’t help but feel a sense of terror and sadness at the nightmarish scenes we were finding. For every person we saved or helped, we found scores of deceased. By the time we’d cleared a block I could feel an emotional numbness settling over my mind, giving me the ability to look past the corpses and destruction and focus on the task of saving lives. Later, when I had time to rest, I knew the emotional buffer would eventually break and allow all the fear and sorrow and awful images flood my thoughts and dreams; for now, it wasn’t something I could waste time dwelling on.

We rounded the corner and I spotted the outline of what appeared to be an Angemon in the distance. By now the sirens had grown louder and I could see flashes of light from the approaching fire trucks and ambulances. For now it would be best to try and find other areas that the emergency workers would be delayed in reaching, so we changed our course of direction and headed towards the Angemon. I couldn’t tell if he was the same one from earlier, though it seemed IceDevimon certainly recognized him.

“Let’s hope Pretty Boy ain’t tha kind ta blast first ‘n’ ask questions later,” he grumbled under his breath. “Last thing we need is ‘im tryin’ ta blow us up ‘cause he don’t take tha time ta realize we ain’t tha enemy.” I wasn’t quite sure why he was so concerned; after all, wasn’t this the same Angemon who was fighting with us earlier? Granted, all three of us were covered in dust, smoke, and smears of blood from the injured and deceased we’d been finding. It might be easy enough to mistake Devimon or IceDevimon as enemies, since if one didn’t know any better, it could appear as though they’d been out killing people. I decided to prevent that from happening, since we definitely didn’t need to get attacked by one of our allies.

“Hey! Any luck?” I called as we drew closer, motioning for Devimon and IceDevimon to remain behind me. With any luck it would be obvious they were my partners and not random murderous Digimon sent by Anarcomon to cause more confusion and mayhem. When the thought occurred to me I nervously scanned the skies, suddenly expecting a horde of enemies to descend upon us. The only Digimon I spotted was Birdramon, ripping away the roof of a smoldering house with her powerful talons. She then stuck one of her feet through the hole she’d made, and a few moments later she pulled back. I could see a shape huddled on the Digimon’s foot as she rose into the air, then landed in the street to let the person off.

OOC: I'm leaving the battle details to you, Obliveon

Andrew Starker, True Digidestined
Polar Icecap, Digital World
ARP: Obliveon

The polar bear had digivolved into... a bigger polar. She stood up on her hind legs.

“I can handle them for now. Just hurry up, will you?” she said, stepping forward.

Andrew took out his digivice, concentrating himself for what was about to happen. In the distance, the data had condensed into a small Data Stream. It was going to dissipate in a couple minutes. Perfect for an escape. But to make sure the Stream was large enough required the power of a Mega. The Beelzemon and Adam didn't really use longer ranged energy attacks, so Casper had to digivolve.

Casper looked at Andrew as they both prepared.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” the Mistymon said, “It's going to be quite a doozy, having two Megas.”

“Yeah,” Andrew replied, “I'm going to try and de-digivolve Adam. I need to get a shot in...”

Lexin Virtik, True Digidestined
Dayton, Ohio
ARP: DoH

Angle noticed the Devimon and IceDevimon coming behind Kilara. Apparently they were her digivolved partners, and the Angemon remembered the IceDevimon battling the Mummymon the day before.

“Hey, any luck?” Kilara asked.

“Some,” Lexin replied, watching as Terry started ripping a door off its hinges, “We've managed to save at least three people, but we passed at least a dozen.”

He looked at the house, as Angle slowly moved into the previously comfortable home. The house was a wreck, a woman lying on the couch, moaning.

“Are you an angel?” she asked, looking at the Champion with bleary eyes, “Is Harry in Heaven now?”

“Yes,” Angle said calmly, picking up the woman, “I think he's in Heaven now...”

He noticed the woman's husband lying on the ground, the back of his head bleeding. Angle knew the man was already dead, and that it must be Harry.

“It's time to go, ma'am,” Angle said, but the woman, although she obviously having a broken leg, started struggling.

“No! Harry! Let me go, I think I saw Harry breathing!”

Lexin just shook his head sadly as the woman screamed hoarsely, while Terry just looked around awkwardly, unsure of what to do. The woman turned to Kilara, recognition etched across her face.

“Kilara!” the woman said, “It's me, Daisy! You're mother's friend! Tell this angel to let me go! I can tell, Harry's alive!”

“Ssh,” Angle said, his voice a whisper, “Everything will be alright,” he turned to Lexin, “This house is clean, let's move on.”

Lexin looked at Kilara, as his partner put down the woman, “The hospital should find her soon enough, let's move on.”

He looked up in the sky, as the Birdramon flew overhead, scanning for survivors. The sky was safe, no helicopters or planes had been pulled out of the sky, not in this area. The explosion might have been worse, but this was nothing like London, not yet.

[K. I'll try to come up with something, I guess. I'm not exactly sure what to do. ^^;]

[Frigidmon - Polar Icecap, Digital World][Role: TD][Arp: Sheepat]

Frigidmon roared and charged toward the Beelzemon, slashing hard with her claws. They were covered in a thick sheen of ice that was almost as solid as steel. "RAH!" She grunted, throwing an incredible amount of force into the attack.

The Beelzemon dodged every one of them, laughing. "That the best you got?" He sneered, infuriating Frigidmon. She roared furiously and charged straight at him. She was caught with an attack, stopping her. She blinked. "What? That's it? SERIOUSLY? That was your big move? I barely felt that!"

She grinned, starting another charge. With a deafening outburst she slammed into him and knocked him to the ground. He groaned. "Nghhh. You'll...pay...for that." Frigidmon laughed. "Sure I will." She swung her massive head to face the other Digimon, still snickering.

OOC: Obliveon, you can choose to come with Andrew. I'd recommend it XD

Andrew Starker, True Digidestined
Polar Icecap, Digital World
ARP: Obliveon

Adam just stared at the Frigimon as she fought Beelzemon. She was putting up a good fight, but the VictoryGreymon was more concerned with Andrew, and Casper. They both were hunkered down, Andrew with his digivice pointed at the Mistymon. In the distance a temporary Digital Stream was forming, a direct result of a Major Stream exploding.

The Mega-level had felt it, the moment it shattered. He had felt it before, when he was helping destroy one of the Streams a few months back. He could feel victory for Anarcomon in the wind. This fight was just a small scuffle. A bar-fight in the middle of the second World War. He smiled as he raised his sword, jumping at Casper.

The two Digimon's blades crashed, a shock wave erupting from the collision. Casper grimaced as he was pushed back, the more-powerful Mega-level falling to his feet. The sat there, struggling.

“You are as strong as ever, my friend,” Adam said, smiling.

“We... aren't.... friends....” Casper replied, his voice filled with determination, “Not... since... Daemon...”

With surprising strength he pushed the VictoryGreymon back a couple yards. He wiped a bit of excess fire from the Mistymon's blade. Wind was blowing, forming a tornado. They were going to do it soon.

“Beelzemon, help me.”

Beelzemon jumped away from the Frigimon, grimacing from a slam the Frigimon had given him. He turned to Casper, drawing his two pistols. He fired them both, which Casper barely deflected. The Ultimate had to conserve his energy... a few more seconds...

“Now!” Andrew yelled.

Energy erupted from his digivice, engulfing the Mistymon. The form of a humanoid dragon appeared, as he grabbed Andrew, the Minor Stream about to engulf them.

“Come on!” Casper yelled, his voice a deep grunt, “If you want to live, then jump into the Stream!”

The stream slammed into them, chaotic energy everywhere....

Then they fell, right into a small forest, animals running away from the surprise, flocks of birds fleeing the forest.

“O-Ohio...” Andrew said, his voice a slur. His dreary eyes looked at a DemiMeramon, who looked at him. Andrew felt the forest floor rush to his head, then black.

[Frigidmon-Polar Icecap, Digital World][Role: TD][Arp: Sheepat]

Frigidmon ran at the two, just as the stream hit them. She had been able to hear Andrew's voice over the howling wind, but barely. She flung herself head first into the stream and was suddenly flung into a tree.

"Ow..." She stood, shaking her head. The tree she had hit had shattered and broken from the force. Frigidmon looked around, dazed. She spotted Casper and Andrew and began to pad slowly toward them. Andrew lay on the ground.

"Is he...ok?" Frigidmon asked, swaying a little. Her fur was extremely thick underneath her silver armour and she was overheating badly. She swayed a little more before plopping backward. Her eyes were dull, like she wasn't actually seeing anything, and her head tilted forward and back again.

[Morimon-Dayton Ohio, U.S.][Role: TD][Arp: None]

Morimon watched the humans running and screaming hysterically. He shook his head at their reactions. Like Kokatorimon with their heads cut off. He thought, watching the Digimon he had been with before rush to help them.

He looked up at the sky and his fur tingled. He almost wanted to Digivolve, there was more than enough energy pouring from the portal, but he decided that it wouldn't affect the situation any. He couldn't mend the hole anyway.

He simply stood there, staring up at the sky. A few stars twinkled coldly at him and he shook is fur. Something was coming through the portal, he was sure of it, he just couldn't tell exactly what it was yet. He let out a low growl and continued to watch the portal.

OOC: Short, I know. Just thought I'd get him going on his way.

Pluto - I95 - Near Trenton, New Jersey - Lone Wolf - ARP: None

The gravel crunched underneath the tires of the Rolls Royce as it returned onto the highway. The well dressed man sat alone in the back, his subjects were... elsewhere. The sign above was for Washington DC. He smiled. Within days, the whole world would be changed forever.

Seadraman & Kuwagamon - Hampton Roads, Virginia - Lone Wolf - ARP: None

Two sets of eyes gleamed in the moonlight, one perched in a tree, the other in the ocean. They stared ahead at the Naval Base, waiting for the command.
