CHARACTER NAME: Bandit Ladrona The Raccoon AGE: 28 GENDER: Male SPECIES: Anthropomorphic Raccoon TEAM: Guardian Units of Nations (G.U.N.) OCCUPATION: G.U.N. Brigadier General - Heavy Weapons Specialist
Standing three feet, six inches tall, Bandit weighs around eighty pounds. Meanwhile, he has blue eyes that give him a warm and compassionate aura. Most of the fur surrounding his body is gray, except for the area around his mouth, which is mostly white. The fur on his chest and in the interior of his ears is a light gray. Meanwhile, his ringed-tail repeats light gray and black fur in a pattern until it reaches the tip. There is also a path of black fur surrounding the areas around his eyes.
Bandit usually wears a G.U.N. high-tech communications headset, along with white gloves with black bands around the wrists. In addition to that, his wears a gray leather belt and a black backpack to store extra weapons, ammunition, grenades, and the like. Lastly, he wears a pair of light gray, steel-tipped shoes. Very often, just for comical pleasure, he likes to paint hearts, smiley faces, stars, rainbows, and the like on his grenades and rockets, as well as paint their pet names on them.
Meanwhile, Bandit will usually be carrying any number of heavy, usually explosive and/or incendiary weapons, fully loaded, armed and ready for bear. He doesn't mind taking whatever weapons he can "find" along the way also. He has an endurable frame from heavy weightlifting (and it's not dumbbells!), and has the ability to keep on going even after most others have become exhausted. Once a weapon is empty, he usually tosses it aside for a new one he may find on the ground from a fallen ally, or one that was intact from a fallen Badnik. Very often he may try new weapons he finds just to see how they handle.
PERSONALITY: Armed with a heart of gold and a love for explosions, Bandit is probably the most casual, humorous, and jovial of G.U.N.'s military leaders, letting nothing bring him down. At the same time, he may say naughty things and poke fun of others, but it's all in good taste and just for comical mischief. Meanwhile, his spirit and optimism often tend to rub onto others. Bandit will still find something amusing to say about even a grim situation, treat it with an impish nature, and make the best out of it, as if life is just one happy-go-lucky mint Mentos commercial where simple improvising makes all the difference. Thus, it helps the ones he's leading feel less anxious, more confident, and more focused rather than worrying about worst case scenarios.
Despite his name, Bandit is a team player, although very often he'll "borrow" things if the opportunity is right. Such as "borrowing" a plane from the G.U.N. Air Force even though he was supposed to get authorization for it. He may not even know how to operate it. Case in point, when dealing with different situations, Bandit will often simply try to "wing it" and hope for the best. If things don't work out, it ends up being a funny thing to bring up at dinner conversations to laugh at all night long. Anything like "say, remember the time I quickly had to borrow a plane, ended up flying into a chicken coop, and had feathers sticking to everyone that still showed up one week later?" He's a walking gold mine of goofy war stories.
Bandit, sometimes to the irk of others, doesn't even take death seriously. As a natural daredevil, Bandit often quotes "hey, why should anyone be crawling through life just to safely get to death anyway?" Meanwhile, Bandit doesn't like the idea of growing old and cranky. He feels he would be pretty annoying to all the other elders in the nursing home with his rowdiness, mischief, and endless pranks.
Bandit also loves vehicles, especially big, beefy ones that can take a lot of damage. Having a weapon or part blown off is as casual to him as having a pawn stolen in chess. As for Pokémon, Bandit often describes them as "spunky," "funny," and "goofy." He thinks they're interesting, but doesn't really care to try and learn how to raise one himself. He also finds the fact they say their own names utterly hilarious, and can't help but crack up in laughter every time he hears it.
HISTORY: Bandit was born in Central City and had pretty much resided there for most of his childhood. As the second oldest to a family of five kids, Bandit was the most mischievous of the five, and often got in trouble at school with his admiration for firecrackers, fireworks, and other things that go boom, snap, and pop. He also didn't take very good care of his toys either. His action figures probably went through more hell than what the heartiest of commandos usually go through.
Bandit was the equivalent of a C student. He could have probably gotten at least A- marks in class if he really devoted his time and energy to it, but school just bored him most of the time, and he often got detention for disrupting class. He also liked making humorous twists to his term papers, funny exam answers, artistic ways of drawing numbers on math tests, and goofing off with chemical reactions in chemistry class. Some teachers actually liked it as a break from the status-quo, others couldn't stand it. As a result, grades were all over the place.
Bandit joined G.U.N. after finishing school, not really finding any other profession all that interesting. As a new recruit, Bandit's high spirit could not and would not be thwarted by even the most brash and demanding of drill sergeants. He could be called a "backwards maggot," "drunken cheerleader," and a "flabby, berry-picking primate" almost a hundred times by his drill instructors, and instead of feeling awful, he would laugh so hard at it. And yes, he spent quite a few weeks in "the Box." And yes, the graffiti with "Bandit wuz here" is still there.
In training, Bandit actually enjoyed the ever-loving frick of jumping over logs, crawling in mud under barbed wire, climbing walls, running in the rain, and all the other dirty things basic training puts new recruits under. The other recruits looked up to Bandit, feeling that around him, even the crappiest and lousiest of conditions could be looked at in a more optimistic way. He saw all the exercises the way a kid looks at a playground. The issue some of his drill instructors had with him was they couldn't really punish him if he did everything that was demanded of him, though finding ways to have fun with it was definitely not what they were expecting.
Bandit did participate in a few missions, and it was here that most thought his spirit would be taken down once he saw the ugliness of war. Sure, it was ugly, but even so, Bandit found ways to look at the bright side of it. For a long time, Bandit never really received promotions until much later, when his commanders finally felt there was no way they'd ever break him. Bandit may not take things seriously, but he did get the job done... in unorthodox ways pretty much every time, but still, got the job done. He also didn't mind getting shot, as morphine seemed to make everything better.
Now, after many years and promotions, Bandit serves as a Brigadier-General to Commander Shadow. He calls him "Fluffy," and definitely thinks the black hedgehog could lighten up a little. Ever since the merge and Robotnik's assault, Bandit has been working on getting other outposts up besides the one in Central City, as well as trying to track Chaos Emeralds, although he hasn't had very much luck with it.
POKÉMON TEAM: N/A
WEAPONS: (Note: Bandit is prone to using pretty much any weapon he may come across, but these are all standard G.U.N. issue firearms. He also doesn't carry all of these at once. Some believe Bandit's personal locker has more weapons and ammunition in it than the armory does.)
MFRL 16 - As a high-tech version of the M202 FLASH, the MFRL (Multiple Fire Rocket Launcher) 16 is a quad-barreled rocket launcher capable of storing sixteen rockets, which can be shot one at a time, or in full automatic. Bandit has slapped a few bumper stickers on it as well, including one that says "baby on board" and "if you can read this, you're in range. "
KAX-09 - A Rocket-propelled grenade launcher (RPG) that fires single, explosive rockets. Also has a scope and a lock-on feature.
Symbiont G11-e Auto Rifle - A rather advanced assault rifle capable of firing different types of ammunition with different settings. Also has a feature that allows it to be linked with any possible elemental power held by the user. Since Bandit has the power of fire at his hands, the rifle is capable of firing blasts of flames. If the Symbiont G11-e rifle were to be handed to someone like Shadow instead, it would fire Negative Chaos Energy, or in Astrailyx's case, Iylix Energy.
Endurance - Bandit can take a pretty brutal beating and still survive. He also has the energy to keep on truckin' for long periods of time. However, unlike some of his comrades, he can't run fast.
Charisma - Naturally, a lot of followers tend to bond to Bandit and his cheerful, happy-go-lucky nature that doesn't let any kind of atrocity or mechanical horror bring him down. He's fun to work with, easy-going, and isn't a stickler when it comes to rules. Everyone gets a fair share, has equal opportunity, and has a good time. Naturally, plenty of people look up to him and is often a role model to the kids... sometimes a good thing, sometimes something that drives the parents up a wall.
Improvising - As a practiced skill, Bandit has the technical know-how to mess around with gadgets and electronics, such as being able to make a weapon that was only usable by Badniks suitable for being used by anthros and humans. While also good at repair and modifying existing technologies, he's not great at inventing new weapons or gadgets from scratch, only good at modifying existing ones.
Heat Resistance - Whether it's after many years of playing with fire or his natural fire-starting ability, Bandit can withstand intense heat and flames for up to an hour. However, very prolonged exposure will burn him. Direct fire attacks to him are also painful.
Dream Thief - With physical contact, Bandit has the ability to inherit the physical feature of any living or dead organism and use it for himself. These features are scaled up or down to fit Bandit's size. For example, Bandit could use Dream Thief on a bird, inherit its wings by sprouting a pair of his own wings from his back that look similar to the ones he inherited from the original target, and gain the ability to fly, or inherit powerful claws from a wolverine to tear though obstructions. Note that he can only take one feature/ability at a time, and in order to get a new one, he needs to discard the previous one.
Memory Gravedigger - Able to see into the minds of the dead with physical contact and learn what they once knew. This can only be performed at most two days after death, after that the body has decomposed far too beyond any state to salvage any memories or knowledge. Not to mention... it's stinky. This ability cannot be performed on the living, however. Also, information learned in this way doesn't last for long if Bandit doesn't use it often.
Vulcan Hands - Bandit has the power to unlock the potential energy stored in any object and transform it into kinetic energy, thus allowing that object to be turned into a fast-moving, fiery projectile. Larger items are harder to work with and take more energy, so Bandit usually sticks with smaller ones. Through speed and friction, he can also conjure up flames and fire, and manipulate metal into different shapes and forms without being burned himself. In addition, he can also create his own ammunition on the field as long as there is available metal, although this "homemade ammo" is unstable, and must be used relatively soon, as it cannot be stored for long periods of time due to its instability (won't last longer than 12 hours). Ammo that goes beyond this duration usually won't fire and will become a dud, or could explode. Plenty of lockers in the barracks have been burnt out because of this.
Belt & backpack - Usually used to store extra ammo, weapons, PDA, and other tools.
Headset - Used for communication with other members of G.U.N. or outside parties. Also works as an MP3 player, although Bandit did install a feature that turns off the music when important, G.U.N.-related communications come in, and then turns it back on when they're over.
Issantu's features, when out and about, are hidden by an alabaster mask. The mask is marked with onyx, left eye covered by a rounded patch and speared by a vertical obsidian streak. The other gap in the mask that is for his right eye is rimmed by a similar shade of tar. The mask is crested by a symmetrical, black headdress topped by a sort of hair extension that is a mix of feathers and thick braids, sprouting out wildly in the manner that a tropical tree would. The headdress displays a silver sort of flower-like ornament in the center, with thin arches branching out on both sides to frame circular stones of blue topaz. Thin strings loop from the middle piece and to the back of the mask. The sturdy thread is adorned by chrome-colored, teardrop-shaped trinkets.
When you remove the mask, you find quite a handsome face with mildly sharp features and upward-crooked eyebrows, closed in by dark blue hair. His hair line slants slowly until it nears the center, where it tapers down to a short point. His skin is leaning on the pale side, but not too badly. His maimed left eye is covered by a black patch that hooks onto his ear, and his free eye is a midtone between azure and a light violet. Anything handsome about him is ruined when he removes the mask, though. His left eye is extremely creepy and, quite frankly, terrifying. It glows a vibrant yellow and is thickly rimmed by black flesh, in the likeness of a wolf's eye. Coupled with his above-average height, he is quite a daunting individual.
As far as clothes go, he usually wears dark, cloak-like garments with high, blooming collars. He also has a dark purple cape that drapes over his right shoulder. A sheath for his sword, strapped on his back, pokes up past his left shoulder for easy access. At times he carries a very durable, round shield that he loops on his arm, but carries it only when he feels it is needed.
Let's start with the facts. Issantu is, quite frankly, a terrible person with a very rough, abrasive personality and cannot get along with anyon-
"Hey!" The cry comes as a wolf-like snarl from the background of your mind as you read the lovely narration of what Issantu is like. "Wrong, wrong, and wrong again. Here, I'll do this.
"Okay, so I'm not exactly as bad as she says," he begins, voice fading to a bit of a murmur as he ponders over whatever is running through his mind. "Alright, maybe sometimes I can be a little hard to work with. Like calling people inappropriate names when they mess up or do something stupid or telling small, orphaned children that I killed their parents if they annoy me. But it's their own fault, okay? Alright, maybe not completely, but somewhat. It could have been prevented if they didn't make me mad! Maybe I am a little rough around the edges when it comes to friendly social skills, but we all are sometimes, right? Yeah, yeah, that's right... But, hey! I always feel great remorse for what I do... Seriously, I really do. After I calm down and all I tend to get really apologetic and I feel really guilty. It just tends to be a bit late to rebuild the bridge I burned.
"But, hey, it happens, doesn't it? What else, what else...? Well, when you don't get on my nerves, I can be pretty nice, if I do say so myself. A bit mysterious, though. I tend to avoid people because then they're all like 'what's under the mask?' and then I take off the mask and they're just like 'what's under the patch?' and if I show them they'll probably never talk to me again. Yeah... that's why I prefer to hang out with people who don't care if I wear the mask or patch. Like the lovely fellows in G.U.N. You know, I'm sure that even the mean ones would be quite a lot nicer if we weren't threatened by murderous robots all of the time. I'm sure they're all good people, you know." He gives a slight chuckle and then tilts his head thoughtfully. "I'd protect them all with my life, though. Besides, I'm not the most useful character in the world, with all of those hybrid-anthro things running around now. They've got some pretty cool powers, but me... I'm just human. And I accept that. I don't hate them any for it. I'm not exactly a jealous sort of individual... well, when I'm calm, that is. But, you know, I don't think I've ever felt real, burning jealousy before, like the kind everyone always describes.
"I have a bad temper, though. I admit that much. But I've been forced to get over grudges pretty easily, though, because otherwise (with how quickly I cause them and make people mad) I have no allies. I've gotten used to it... I tend to isolate myself a bit too, but that's another thing I've stopped fostering a fondness for, considering that I do feel a lot of loneliness when I shut myself off from the world. NO, NO, I'M NOT A SOFTY. Not at all. I don't know where you even got that assumption. I mean, humans are relatively herd/group animals, are they not? Sort of like Rapidash or Zebstrika, you know. It's natural." He gives a nonchalant shrug, and then looks away. "Oh, and I'm a writer. Did I mention that before? Well, I did now. Yeah, I've got a couple of realistic fiction works published. Nothing special, really, despite the slight media attention they get sometimes." Another shrug. "I'm just another guy making a living until those robots came along. People say I'm super-modest, too. But I just don't find much of a reason to brag about anything nowadays. Maybe back in my bravado, when I was around 12 or so, but I'm past that.
"Oh, and did I mention that I tend to ramble? I also tend to make the shortest little stories into dramatic monologues that take about ten times as long to tell. I often have to remind myself to get to the point. I'm getting better at it! I think... Though sometimes I don't think I am... but--"
"Right, right. Okay, me. I tend to have a very vast imagination. I have a very sarcastic and dry sense of humor sometimes, too. I try to make up for my bitterness with some comic relief from time to time. I have very slightly bipolar tendencies as well, and tend to jump to conclusions quickly. One way to keep me calm is to get me to tell a story, though. I love my Pokemon--I'm quite fond of steel and dragon types, too. I hate those damned robots, though. They can kiss the whitest, darkest part of my pale, moon-white a--"
"Sorry, sorry. Alright, I'll finish up before Sight shoves a Ferrothorn down my throat. Actually, I think that's all. I'll go now before she rips me a new one."
Issantu was born--
"Don't strain yourself thinking too hard, love," he taunts, a dark chuckle passing from his lips and an innocent smile flicking across his countenance. "Here, I'll take care of this. It is my past, isn't it?
"I was born in a small corner of Hoenn to some extremely old-fashioned, sheltering parents that had somehow got it in their mind that Pokemon were evil. For the first ten years of my life I was raised to think that Pokemon were malicious monsters. Seeing one was a bad omen, so I wasn't allowed outside much, either. It was during this time that I took up writing, and my skills excelled from there. I wrote mostly fiction, about world where Pokemon weren't seen as monsters and what they could do together. My imagination and liberal ways of thinking didn't want to believe that Pokemon were the terrors that my parents made them out to be. I didn't know that it really wasn't that way, and that others actually lived alongside Pokemon. What I thought was fiction was actually realistic fiction, and in more ways than just one. There wasn't anyone else I was really able to socialize with, either, in our little cottage in the corner of the Safari Zone, where our existence was hidden almost completely. When I was ten years old, there was a freak accident involving the fireplace, and I was the only one who escaped the raging inferno that was our home.
"I was adopted by a couple who were both in their early thirties, and had recently lost their own newborn to miscarriage and their child before that to a flood. They were both Trainers and both worked to further introduce me to Pokemon. As I learned how amazing they were, I began to hate my parents for what they had deprived me of. But then, maybe they were raised how they raised me. I myself had been lucky to at least have some sort of resistance to what they tried to force upon me early on. Either way, that is beside the point. My first Pokemon was an Aron. Cute little bugger she was, and she's what started my love for steel types. I named her Pallasovka. Don't even ask where I came up with it either. I usually call her Sovka for short, though. Anyway, she helped me through a lot. It was a shame that she wasn't there the day that the Seviper bit me. I was walking through the tall grass as quickly as I could, trying to get to the DayCare center while I was running errands for Mom, and it just sprung out of the grass. Literally, sprung. And it sunk the very tips of its teeth into my upper and lower eyelids. Yeah.
"Luckily, Pokemon venom works differently. Especially when it interacts with the antidotes that have been made from its own venom. Instead of having to be removed, it morphed into a very unattractive, slightly creepy appendage. I can still see out of it, but I mostly keep the patch on because it creeps people out. From that day forth, Dad wouldn't let me go anywhere without Sovka.
"I went through the whole 'Pokemon Journey' thing, but got bored after the eighth gym. I never even tried to go any further, so I just trained my Pokemon in peace and settled down to do some writing in Slateport City. My first book wasn't a one-hit wonder. In fact, it was a complete flop. Sure, it was disappointing, but I moved on and wrote more. I'm one of the less prestigious writers of the Pokemon World, but my name is still pretty recognizable.
"Seeking to escape the publicity that came with my works, most strongly in my home region, I went about exploring the other lands and their contents. The beginning of the whole robot-takeover happened when I was finishing my travels through Unova. I was set to return home the next day. Everyone I knew, including my surrogate parents, were killed by the robots. I sought refuge in the G.U.N. organization; the first to reach me during the attack. I came to Central City with most of those seeking refuge inside of it, and though I was wary of the new place, we all sought and found comfort in the vastness of the settlement. The safety in numbers was too much to pass up with most of those that we knew in the more southern regions undoubtedly suffering or gone by then.
"I took up sword fighting." He gives a shrug, swallowing hard after talking for so long. "I could have found something more useful, but, hey. It's fun."

A sword that he carries in the sheath strapped to his back. The blade is broad and thick and a bit on the heavy side. It has a flat back that tapers to a razor-sharp, blade that curves from the top and down to the hilt. The hilt is embedded with a light blue sapphire and engraved with a Mighteyena and a Ninetales engaged in battle, in a sort of circular, yin-yang style, except without the actual symbol.
Other than the Pokeballs and pouches at his belt, he carries a bulletproof shield. It seems like there were engravings on it once, but dents have maimed the details.

Kiju is rather large for an anthro, standing at 5’11” in height and weighing about 200 lbs. That’s not fat, mind you, but rather muscle. Her coat is a mix of black with bronze highlights on her arms, legs, sides, mane, and tail. She has leather thongs tied around her arms and legs with teeth of her Pack members entwined in them, as well as one around her neck. These are fangs taken from the skulls of Kiju’s family and give her a spiritual connection with them. She also wears a “loincloth” around her waist for a bit of decency, and though she’s normally “naked” she’ll occasionally don leather armor before going into combat (she normally doesn’t bother though). Her bright yellow eyes give her an unsettling stare if she looks at a person for too long, even those who know her.
Kiju, like other anthros, walks upright, but if she needs to get somewhere fast or is trying to dodge multiple enemies, she can assume an all-fours posture like a normal wolf. Because she’s built to walk upright it looks awkward for her to move around on all fours and it tends to make her a bit sore if she does it for too long, but it gives her more speed and agility she has than when upright.
Personality: Kiju, being a wolf anthro, is a pack creature by nature. She prefers to be around others instead of by herself and will go to great lengths to stay in the company of her friends and allies. If others ignore her, even if they don’t mean to, it tends to make her feel as though she’s being punished, especially if someone walks away without acknowledging her first. By no means does she follow just anyone around like a lost puppy, though; rather, she will unconsciously seek out allies to be near them, if not interacting with them directly.
Kiju also takes hierarchy to heart. While in groups that have no clear leader, she will, like a normal wolf, either take the alpha position or yield to whoever decides to take over, should they prove worthy. In cases where there’s a clear leader, she will obey them without question, so long as they don’t show hesitation or uncertainty when addressing her. In cases where she acts as leader, she takes a firm but caring stance, making it very clear what she expects of her fellows and making sure they understand. She doesn’t tolerate disrespect or disregard for rules; if she’s the one in charge, she’ll squash such actions and thoughts with swift action. If it’s another in charge, she’ll side with them unless they’re clearly not fit to lead.
Kiju is a creature of honor and pride, and expects it of her fellows. When she makes a promise she’ll keep it, no matter how small. She strongly dislikes lies and deceit, feeling that they’re the tools of sneaks and backstabbers, but if it will protect others, she will grudgingly practice these “arts”. She is also very loyal, literally fighting tooth and nail for her friends and those she cares for. Hurting or kidnapping those close to her is a very, very bad idea, as she will become enraged at such things and can go into frightening frenzies to enact revenge against those who wrong her loved ones.
Under normal conditions, Kiju is calm and clearheaded, rarely making rash decisions and instead taking the time to consider the immediate consequences of her actions. She can be reserved at times, especially when in deep thought, and so sometimes others first think she’s indifferent and distant. However, she’s relatively laid-back and will easily converse with others, often taking on a playful, joking attitude when relaxed and at ease.
A word of caution: Kiju’s loyalty isn’t hard to win, but her friendship and trust are. Once she considers you a true friend, she will do anything for you and won’t see you as “leader” or “follower”. You are, however, Pack to her, and she takes it very seriously. Break her trust, though, and you may find yourself the enemy of a very bitter creature, depending on the offense.
History: Kiju was born into a Pack of wolf anthros who, sadly, most people feared, thinking they were werewolves rather than normal anthros. As such, the Pack lived in the wilderness, away from the humans and other anthros who were terrified of them. Generations of living like this made them grow thicker pelts to resist inclement weather and bigger muscles to catch wild game, making them look even more like werewolves than they once did. It didn't help that, being upright wolves, they were taller than most other anthros and even humans. However, the Pack was healthy and lived in peace, eventually setting up a tribal community within the forest they dwelled in.
Kiju was born on a solar eclipse, and the elders of her Pack knew from the moment she was born that she was special. They could sense a sort of otherworldly power in her and, as she aged, took great strides to encourage its growth. She was regarded as a Speaker, one who could commune with the spirits of those long since passed on and gain wisdom from them.
When she was a few years old, she demonstrated this very power, though it was on accident. She had wandered from the Pack and gotten lost, but she was young and curious, not realizing she might come across dangerous wild animals or other anthros. Eventually, though, she wanted to return home, but at that time was unable to follow scent trails, not knowing how to. Instead, she came across the corpse of a small timber wolf, and a strange sensation overcame her. Without knowing why, she went and touched the dead wolf’s paw, feeling neither sadness nor fear but rather a desire to learn. Suddenly, she saw the ghostly blue outline of a wolf; communicating on a spiritual level, the soul of the wolf explained how she could return home. It was this day she learned how to track by scent, and followed her own trail back home.
The years came and went, and Kiju’s Pack remained at peace in their forest adobe. They never once knew of the struggles going on in other parts of the world, never knew of a man named Robotnik who was doing his best to overtake the world and rule it. Kiju’s training as a Speaker continued and other powers blossomed as a result; she received training in these as well. It seemed as though she would become the Pack’s first priestess, a true spiritual leader for them when she was old enough to take try for the Alpha Female position.
Then disaster struck.
One morning, a swarm of cybertronic insects invaded the Pack’s territory. The older members, while powerful, were no match for the robotic monsters and their steel hides. They were injured or killed, and the younger members taken as prisoners to be made into more robots. Kiju, however, had powers none of her Pack possessed. In a rage, she descended into a feral state of mind and tapped into bestial strength, ripping apart most of the robots before exhaustion and blood loss from her wounds drove her into unconsciousness. When she woke later she was in a cage in some factory. There she learned of Robotnik and his deeds, that the robots were his making and had once been innocent animals. Apparently, he was sending his army out to new locations to try and find new “sources” to create stronger soldiers.
Kiju, overwhelmed with fury and grief, demonstrated a new power known as Stepping. Without knowing what she was doing or how she was doing it, the anthro muttered an ancient word and stepped forward into the Space, that odd plane of space between space. For a moment she was confused and disoriented; she then became frightened and ran forward several steps before coming back into the physical world. She was back home, in the forest; she had unconsciously projected her home into the Space, and by moving forward, she had traveled a great distance in just a few short steps. However, the experience was horribly draining, and she once again passed out.
Two days later she woke again and, sore, tired, and heartsick, set to burying the remains of her Pack. Knowing she could speak with them whenever she needed should she have something to touch, she pulled a fang from each Pack member's skull who’d died and spent the next few days fashioning her fanged thong straps. By now she’d developed the strength to only commune with the spirits when she wished, instead of doing it automatically when touching a body, and she tied these thongs around her legs and arms. The thong with her Pack leaders’ fangs and those of her parents went around her throat.
After that day, Kiju traveled to civilization for the first time in her life. She was fourteen at this time and completely unprepared for what she discovered. It took another two years to learn the ways and nuances of humans and “humanized” anthros, but even then she never really fit in. She was simply too wild, to put it bluntly, and it would show at the worst of times. However, she did learn more of Robotnik, his robots, and the various times his plans had been foiled by others. She yearned for the chance to fight as well to avenge her Pack, as well as to save any survivors Robotnik may have turned into bots. Therefore, she trained herself extensively, learning how to control the powers that had come to her over the years even more than she’d already been taught.
When she turned seventeen, her world was quite literally turned upside down. She was resting in an apartment she’d earned by acting as a medium for the landlord’s dead parents when a horrendous racket from outside started to sound out. Then the ground started shaking; Kiju was thrown to the ground as the room shook worse and worse. Then, a giant rift opened in the ground, pitching the entire apartment complex into it. Kiju was thrown about like a ragdoll, too disoriented and confused to try Stepping to safety. She then cracked her head hard against a window, getting knocked out as two worlds never meant to touch melded together.
When she came to, the anthro was still in her apartment, though with a head wound that had oozed blood everywhere and made her fur a mess. Thankfully she didn’t have any dire injuries except a massive headache, though she fought through it to find out what had happened. Her apartment was pretty much in pieces and in the middle of same strange land she didn’t know. Bizarre creatures were inspecting the wrecked building; when one noticed Kiju, it became aggressive and lunged at her. It resembled a lean, black wolf, with curving white horns coming from its skull and odd circlets around its ankles and wrists. It blew out a blast of fire, shocking Kiju, but there was enough distance between she and the attack that she was able to dodge. She then darted forward and with one powerful swipe of a paw, tore out the offending beast’s throat. It died within seconds and its fellows fled.
Afterward, Kiju tried to Speak with it to learn what she could of it and where she was, but she was horrified to find she was unable to commune with the creature. Confused and panicking, she tried for about an hour to Speak to the corpse, but she couldn't establish a connection with its spirit. She then tried to contact her mother and father and found she couldn't talk to them, either. The loss of her ability to speak to her family hit her hard; the anthro wandered, lost in a fog of bemusement and grief. She occasionally tried other spiritual powers but found those, too, were no longer working.
A few days later, she encountered a small group of anthros that were taking out a large bird-like robot. Starved of companionship and wanting answers, Kiju approached them cautiously and asked if they could tell her what this place was, as she hadn't recognized anything during her aimless travels. The group told her they didn't have much information, that this land was a region known as Hoenn and they were near some town called Littleroot. They explained that this was a different world, one inhabited by bizarre creatures known as Pokemon, and that Robotnik had caused this world and their world to merge somehow.
Kiju traveled with the group for the next few weeks, and as they moved from place to place, more and more robots were popping up; at the same time, people and Pokemon were becoming more and more rare, as they were being killed or captured and made into robots for the crazed human's cybernetic army. They were forced to fight often, but other times they had to hide, since there were occasionally groups of robots too big for them to fight. Eventually, Kiju split from the group, as she had plans that were the exact opposite of theirs. She wanted to try to find Robotnik and stop him, while the other anthros wanted to stay as far from him as possible, seeing it as suicide to willing go to the Death Egg. This, they'd learned, who located atop a volcano located to the east.
Since learning that the world merge was Robotnik’s doing and not willing to let him gain rule over two worlds, the anthro swore her life to ending his plans and making sure he never got a change to try them in the future. On top of that, she years for revenge for her slain Pack and to save any survivors that might have been turned into robots. She also wants to try and find a way to reverse the collision of worlds; she believes the alien energy of the Pokemon's world is interfering with her ability to talk to the dead, and only by separating the worlds will she once again regain her spiritual powers. However, she doesn't know her way around Hoenn at all and currently has no idea where she is or if she's even headed in the right direction, and if that wasn't bad enough, there are hundreds of robots milling about the region, making it hard for her to move around. Thankfully, she can usually smell the mechanical beasts before they get close enough to spot her, which usually gives her time to hide.
Weapons: Claws, fangs, certain powers (see below)
Special powers: Kiju's spiritual powers are not available to her for reasons she doesn't know or understand. The following are her non-spiritual powers.
*Rally- Kiju can release a howl that motivates herself, giving her a temporary boost in speed and stamina, but not necessarily physical strength. If others are close to her when she does it, they can gain superficial bonuses as well, but not for very long. The longer Kiju howls, the stronger the effect and the longer it will last.
*Single Focus- Kiju can become so intently focused on a single goal or target, blocking out everything and one else not directly related to said goal or target. She can cancel this state whenever she likes, but cannot use any of her other powers while under its influence. If she enters her Feral Mind state (see below), she will instantly lose her Single Focus state. Single Focus allows her to put all her energy and attention into whatever she's doing, which boosts her reaction time and strength. In most cases she uses this power when fighting a tough enemy, blocking out any and all distractions until her foe is destroyed or has fled. Once her goal has been accomplished or her target reached, she will instantly come out of this state.
*Stepping- With a spoken command, Kiju can open a portal into the Space, which is the space between space that psychics and others traverse during teleportation. In fact, Stepping is basically limited teleportation; she can only Step to a place she's physically been herself or that she can physically see from where she is, as just seeing pictures or hearing descriptions isn't enough. However, this is a very draining experience, and even after training herself in using it for several years, it tires Kiju even traveling just fifty or sixty miles. The further she Steps the more energy it takes; if she tries to step too far, she’ll end up knocking herself out from energy loss. In most cases she only steps in cases where she needs to escape fast and has no other options, or an emergency requires her swift and immediate arrival. Kiju cannot carry others with her when she Steps, as it takes too much energy to make the passage for another safe.
*Feral Mind- Not so much a power as it is a burden, if Kiju becomes too frightened or angry, she will descend to a state known as the Feral Mind. When in this state, she can access a well of strength and energy she otherwise has no access to, becoming more powerful and faster while also becoming unresponsive to wounds she receives. This state is, understandably, a double-edged sword because of these traits. Generally, she only remains in this state for a short period of time before either passing out or snapping back to her senses. It’s not something she can trigger at will and indeed, has no control over when it happens. Thankfully, she rarely attacks allies while in this state unless they get directly in front of her or try to restrain her.
*Force of Will- Kiju can control the flow of energy in her body, channeling it into spheres and beams used for attacking. She can also craft shields out of it. Sometimes she uses small spheres as lamps when she needs light, though her eyes are naturally able to adjust very well to low-light environments. In most cases, the light is in consideration for others who might not see as well in the dark as she can. Also, Kiju can heal minor wounds on herself by flooding them with energy; it doesn’t instantly heal wounds, but it makes them close faster and reduces bleeding. It doesn’t work on others or for larger injuries.
Equipment: The leather thongs tied around her arms, legs, and neck that have the fangs of her fallen Pack members entwined in them
Other: NUB BUNS? Also I hope Kiju doesn't look TOO wolfy; I mean anthros are pretty much just animals that have a human build to them in the basic sense lol. Also I hope her height isn't an issue lol. Sorta wanted to set her apart from other anthros; she doesn't really fit in anywhere, poor thing XD.
@Duded, your SU still isn't up to par. Sorry bro :<
@Regi, doesn't meet any of the requirements, and those aren't sentences. Look at the other SUs and see if you can improve.
@Jess, spirit powers I'm definitely going to say no with. Adding in realms of the afterlife opens a whole new realm of problems that I don't particularly want involved with this RP. The spirit powers are a definite no. ALSO, WRY DID YOU WRITE A NOVEL FOR YOUR SU? WRY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME? DX
Streak's okay (Finally), Bandit is cool (I like him), and Blaze is good.

[BECAUSE LONG SU. :3
Also I suppose I can tweak her powers a bit. Perhaps the literal clash of worlds did something to disrupt her ability to commune with the dead, which means I don't have to redo her entire Background lol. At the very least maybe she can still use her energy as projectile weapons; I can change it to something like life energy if "spirit energy" is pushing it too much. Also, Stepping was a power I came up with a while back and didn't even involve the realm of the dead; it was just a limited version of teleporting, so that's easy enough to change.
Anyways taking out Speaking will actually make her character a bit more dynamic since she won't be able to talk to her dead Pack members or use her normal spiritual powers :3. Also I have room for a different power or two. There was actually one I wanted to give her but didn't b/c I felt I had enough to begin with.
Double-post so you see it; edited the Powers and tweaked her Background a bit. She can't use her spiritual powers; it's basically like they don't exist, but this way I don't have to waste time doing her entire History over again/
Character name: E-123 Omega "Ω" Age: Unknown. Seriously I tried looking it up. Gender: Genderless, although referred to as Male Species: Robot Team: Working with the Guardian Units of Nations Occupation: "Must destroy Eggman Robots" pretty much speaks for itself. He is literally occupied with seeking out Eggman and his robots in revenge. Appearance: or
Omega has a mostly red and black color scheme, with silvery metallic white in places.
His design appears to have been made with the intention of fitting in with the rest of the E-100 Series robots, particularly Gamma. He is different though, because he has a stockier upper body and arms with different colored eyes. His height is also lesser than the other models and his shoulders larger with a visible Greek "Ω" symbol on the front of the left and back of the right with red handlebars on the top. Omega doesn't have the twin exhaust pipes and the Jet Booster addon of the first E-100 Series robots. Instead he has one circling pipe around the waist with two flaps attached, with twin jets installed in his back below the hunch. He has a sort of silverish metal "nose" going from his head to the middle of his stomach, dividing the upper part of his red body down the middle, although below the nose and above the waist his body is black. He also has one extra finger claw (For a total of four) compared to other E-100 Series robots, and yellow wrists studded with large spikes like a dog collar. Just below his "nose" is a plate of clear material that allows others to see some of his inner workings. Between his legs he has a sort of protrusion that is kinda like a crotch but really isn't. His legs up to the knee joints are quite thin but then become a little thicker below the knee. His feet are almost completely black and are very flat. Personality: Omega is generally very unemotional like is to be expected of robots. He does however display anger, rage, and hate directed at enemies. He likes to fight, but can also be cold and calculating at other times. Omega is sometimes known to act before thinking, usually charging head-first into battle without any given strategy and hoping it will work out. He is extremely loyal to Shadow and Rouge, but will not hesitate to help out anybody else who is against Robotnik as long as either of these two are involved. Any enemy of the doctor would generally be an ally of his, althoughh his true alignment is uncertain. Omega hates being called inferior or weak, and in turn looks down on all of Robotnik's robots as inferior to himself. He will not hesitate try to prove his own superiority, sometimes even at the risk of losing or being disabled. Omega is an intelligent machine and has free will. History:
E-123 Omega "Ω" is the last of Robotnkik's E-100 Series robots and is considered the strongest. Shadow was saved by Robotnik after he fell down to the planet and was about to die after saving the world from the ARK crashing into the planet. He was then put in a stasis chamber with Omega guarding him so he couldn't escape. Omega was down there far too long and decided to go against his programming, becoming angry at being abandoned and wanting revenge. When Shadow was awakened by Rouge, Omega came online too and attempted to kill them both. Rouge convinced the two to make peace because they both hate the doctor and the three banded together. After many trials and tribulations the group helped defeat Metal Sonic in his powered up forms and the team split up for a while. When the Black Comet came to the planet Omega was reunited with his two team members and had somewhat of a role in helping defeat the Black Arms.
Since then he's been out hunting "Eggman technology" and trying to improve himself for the inevitable showdown. Being a robot and needing upgrades to stay current, that was something of an impossibility for a while. That is until he was on a routine outing in Central City when he met Blaze the Cat and happened upon a curious being in a stasis tube. He scanned the location and confirmed it had been a hideout of the doctor at one point and all the technology was of that style. Omega was about to destroy the tube and the creature, but Blaze stopped him, reminding him that the doctor doesn't do gemetics. They released the creature, and after finding out he had very limited knowledge of the world, taught him how to read, write, count, and speak. They also give him his name, which was based on how he looked like streaks of what were obviously his DNA donors. Blaze left to pursue other endeavors and Omega stayed behind to help maintain the little sewer lab, which also served as his way to get maintenance of his own. When Streak moved in with Renee then "joined" GUN, Omega followed and was eventually willingly shut down for a couple months as Renee and Streak made a bunch of upgrades to him. It took both Shadow and Rouge convincing Omega that it had to be done. Nobody else could sway his reasoning at all and had no leverage on his logic circuits otherwise. Weapons: Omega can swap Missile, Fire, and Cannon but cannot carry all three arm secondary weapons at the same time due to Modular Parts, detailed in the Special powers section.
Omega Machine Gun: Two rapid-fire machine guns. Standard equipped weapon.
Omega Missile: Two missile launchers. Can also lock on to a number of surrounding enemies with a targeting laser, then shoot homing missiles at them. The missiles are usually fired without lock on first, though. Standard equipped weapon.
Omega Fire: Shoots two flamethrowers. Can also shoot big, destructive fireballs.
Beam Cannon: Omega fires powerful yellow lasers at enemies from his arms. Special powers:
Modular Parts: Allows Omega to rearrange his internal and external components into different shapes. Although the transformation capability is there, he must first be programmed with each different transformation mode. This upgrade lowers the amount of weapons he can load in his arms down to two due to having to shift his components around each time he transforms. Thus, not all weapons and ammo can fit.
Force Field: Allows for putting up a defensive force field that stops just about anything but can't be used for very long. Can be widened to include allies, but it's durability goes down the further away the radius is from Omega.
Walking Arsenal: Omega can load weapons into his arms and body. See Weapons for possible options as of now. Although these options might increase as situations demand it.
Jet Pack: Has the ability to move at ground level and hover. Nothing extremely fast, just enough to get around. Can be supercharged in short bursts to be able to keep up with fast characters. It's really only good in straightaways, and due to poor turning is not used as a primary means of getting around. Omega generally prefers to walk.
Robotic Power: Robotnik's robots that have names can take an extreme amount of punishment before they expire, and Omega definitely exhibits this feature. Being a robot, he is also physically much stronger (About 2000 pounds pick up and throw ability) than most organics and even many robots. Without the Jet Pack engaged, Omega walks very slowly due to his size and weight. Unlike most robots, he is waterproof and can swim, albeit slowly. Equipment:
Spider Bombs: Omega carries about ten small explosives in his chest cavity at a time and can pull them out to throw, which then arm and attach with spider-like claws to whatever they land on. Can be detonated remotely or take ten seconds to detonate on their own.
Carries a limited supply of extra ammo carriages that can be swapped in but ultimately need to be replenished once in a while. Other: Omega's personality program and combat data are constantly being backed up to Renee's Tablet. He has about a gazillion firewalls and passwords installed now, rendering him unhackable because of the sheer tedium involved in performing such a task manually.

Age: He has the appearance of a nineteen-year-old, but in reality he’s only been active for about a month and a half.
Gender: Being an android he is genderless, but he has the appearance and personality of a male.
Team: Eggman Empire
Occupation: His prime directive is to find and capture Odin.
Appearance:http://dreamself.me/d/gvG9 Fenrir is equipped with nice, practical clothes that aren’t overly showy and fit tight enough to where they won’t be a nuisance. He wears combat boots so that he can kick people without causing damage to himself (although being an android this isn’t really necessary) and a large jacket to hide the wings on his back. (In the picture they are show just so you know what they look like, but most of the time they’re tucked securely into a compartment on his back and shoulders ) You couldn’t really tell if Fenrir was a robot unless he came out and said it or if you looked into his eyes. He’s masterfully designed that he has the appropriate skin tone across his body, the right muscles for mimicking every human movement, and even a pulse and a breathing rate.
Fenrir’s red eyes and black hair are mainly for appearance only, since his creators seemed to have some fun in designing him to be an exact opposite of the person he was hunting. But if one looks close enough you can see the lights in the back of his eyes that keep them lit up, along with occasional flashes of coding that appear whenever he receives information from his scanners. He carries a giant energy spear on his back that not only serves as a weapon, but can also generate large force fields that disrupt the psychic abilities of anyone who is in it, and anyone on the outside who tries to penetrate the shield using a psychic attack will find that it has no effect at all. It also works against regular weapon just like any other force field.
Personality: Fenrir is kind of crazy, to put it in a nutshell. He loves to fight and blow things up, preferably if he’s fighting Odin and blowing up anything that gets in his way. Fenrir was programmed for fighting and his main objective to capture Odin and bring him back to the masters he escaped from, and if he can do both of those then he’s the happiest robot in existence. There’s a wild streak in the android, one that was self-developed from his times adventuring and fighting and causing havoc, and he’s known to leap right into danger and damn looking first. Of course he’s not suicidal, since he wouldn’t be very useful for hunting Odin is he was dead, so whenever he jumps into a problem it’s with the absolute conviction that he is going to come out of it alright and unscathed. It’s this confidence that many find inspiring, arrogant, and annoying all at the same time.
Fenrir likes to show off and has great fun blasting up targets or using his powers to disrupt psychics. But when he has nothing to do he seems very lost and alone, like a little kid, and sometimes you can hear him muttering to himself about his “masters” or something similar.
History: After Odin escaped from his and went off into the unknown, the remaining scientists who were working on him grew very fearful. They were afraid of another Mewtwo terrorizing the region, and they quickly sent Team Rocket after him to try and bring him back. Odin was far too powerful to be subdued though, and he escaped each and every time. After a while the Rockets realized that they needed to make a weapon that could somehow combat against Odin’s powers and make him defenseless against their repeated assaults. Their solution was to build a robot whose sole purpose was to hunt down the hybrid human and bring him back to Team Rocket, and out of this idea came Fenrir.
Fenrir was built by the best scientists that Team Rocket had to offer, equipped with the latest technology and weapons that would make him into a mini tank to be let loose. All of Fenrir’s equipment is a way to disrupt the powers of psychics, and with his superior tracking abilities and the wings he uses to fly with, once he is on Odin’s trail it is nearly impossible to shake him off unless Odin somehow beats him in a fight. However Fenrir’s systems can often repair themselves (and the Rockets will just repair him anyway) so it’s often a neverending cycle of Fenrir hunting him down until he gets caught, fighting, and then repeating the process once more. Fenrir was relentless in what he did, and from the moment he was let loose he chased his prey across Kanto until they went ran right out of it, eventually ending up in Hoenn. Then the merging between the two worlds occurred, an even though Kanto’s government fell Team Rocket managed to stay up. However, they told Fenrir to go seek out Robotnik and join forces with him, so that the Doctor’s resources would help them find Odin.
Fenrir fainthufully did as he was told, and Robotnik received the android enthusiastically. However Fenrir has no care for the scientist, since Robotnik is neither his master nor the one who really gives him orders, and he tends to ignore him unless his masters say otherwise.
Pokemon team: None.
Fenrir’s left arm is capable of transforming into a blaster cannon, which can be used offensively to blow stuff up, and defensively, where if he shoots it at anything with psychic abilities the blast will drain their powers for a short amount of time.
Fenrir’s right hand is another weapon. Hidden inside of his palm is another tiny blaster, which fires focused beams of energy out at targets. The beams can cut through almost anything and are incredibly bright and almost blinding.
He carries around an energy spear, which is mentioned in his appearance and was made specially for him by Team Rocket. It is also an effective lightning rod that can absorb electricity and then give it to him for power. Fenrir also has a special attack that requires his wings to be out, but it is basically a shockwave generated from his wings that can hit stuff from up to twenty feet away.
Special powers: Nothing much, only what his weapons and equipment let him do.
Equipment: Fenrir’s eyes can zoom in, switch to night vision and heat vision, an can also generally see better and in much clearer detail than any human’s could. There is also a built in scanner, which he can scan things from up to pokemon to people and the Rocket’s database will instantly download information into his system on what the creature is, along with its strengths and weaknesses. His ears are also much better as well, and Fenir is stronger and faster than a regular human.
He also has wings for flight. They’re usually folded up into his back an hidden by his jacket, and the wings allow him to travel incredibly fast and can even launch attacks.
Other: He is really after Odin, so don’t mess with him and he won’t mess with you, unless you’re protecting Odin of course.
Character name: Stella Marino
Team: Eggman Empire
Occupation: Pokemon trainer
Appearance: Stella prefers a more gothic and lolita style of dressing, her most prominent wear being her boots and hat. She has a fondness for fishnet armwarmers and plaid skirts, and has several pairs of the latter. Even though she often wears plainer clothing instead of the formal dresses and gowns she grew up used to, she has such a way of standing that she could be dressed in torn rags and still look like a queen. She has pale skin, emphasized by her black clothing, and a pair of startling silver eyes. Her hair is black and straight as a rod, going down to her waist. It seems that if one gets close enough to her the very air seems chilly, as if Stella's cold demeanor affects even the temperature, but in reality it is her Mismagius, Lola. Stella keeps her out of her pokeball, but she is almost always invisible and trails beside her owner.
Personality: Stella is rather cold when it comes to the concern of others. She cares nothing for people's troubles and grievances and is quite annoyed when they complain while she's in earshot. She hardly voices any pain of hers and keeps secrets locked behind her teeth, so she'll never tell more than she thinks you need to know. She is smiling often, usually in some form of grim amusement, and she speaks kindest to her pokemon. Her coldness comes even to the battlefield, she doesn't care how much she hurts other pokemon, which has a caused a ruthlessness which has made her infamous, her pokemon have picked up on this and are just as ruthless as their trainer. However, being raised in good graces and as a lady she can be incredibly polite and well-mannered, but it’s always laced with venom. She isn’t very fond of other people, but she will tolerate them to an extent. Those who irritate her will make her snap or simply walk off. Stella often enjoys sicing her pokemon on people and often makes veiled threats to the idea, and while she has never actually done it yet people are pretty sure that she can and will.
History: Stella grew up in a rich mansion with quite a large family, and was the third oldest in a line of eight children. Her parents demanded that their children have a proper upbringing, and schooled them in how to be proper gentlemen and ladies and refused to see them in plain clothes that were for the "lower class". The Marinos did not interact with their children very much, not in the familial sense anyway. Rather than seeing them as sons and daughters, they treated their children more like miniature copies of themselves that they could parade around so their neighbors could see what a lovely upbringing they had. Most of her siblings accepted this, but when Stella started her schooling and was learning how to train her own pokemon she saw how happy many of her classmates seemed a lot happier and carefree than she. As the years went by, Stella grew more and more detached from her parents and siblings until she outright started defying them. In the process she grew closer and closer to her pokemon until they were the only ones who really knew her.
Her family said a few things here and there, but the final straw came on one Christmas vacation when Stella came home wearing a long V-necked black dress that had no back, a black spiked choker and fishnet gloves. Her parents nearly had a heart attack and ordered that she change into something more presentable, but she replied that she had sold all of her clothes to replace them with her new wardrobe. They sent her to her room and were planning on bringing out some old dresses for her to wear, and she overheard them talking about sending her to boarding school. However, Stella had enough too, and as soon as her parents' backs were turned packed her bags, left through her window and ran away into the wilderness.
To say that she didn’t know how to survive would be wrong though. Stella proved herself to be a very efficient pokemon trainer and was more than able to travel to the next city and access her bank account, pulling out all the money she needed for supplies and then starting out her adventuring for real. She trained just like any pokemon trainer, but she soon became infamous for her ruthless battle style and was known throughout Hoenn as a very dangerous, yet very accomplished, trainer. This went on for some years until the worlds merged, and Stella suddenly found herself facing armies of robots and weird furry creatures that were walking around. She didn’t like either of them, but the robots she came across openly attacked her, so she hates them more. She usually just stays out of everyone’s business and goes off on her own, so she really isn’t dedicated to one side, but she hates Eggman and his robots passionately.

Derp, I was certain I added that she can't, but I looked over it and there's no mention.
No, she can't use her other powers while in her Feral Mind state, as she doesn't have the presence of mind to "activate" them. Any other powers such as Single Focus get overridden by Feral Mind; any time she's under it's influence she can be under its influence ONLY, and she can only rely on brute strength.
CHARACTER NAME: Axel Junio the Fox AGE: 31 GENDER: Male SPECIES: Anthropomorphic Fox TEAM: Guardian Units of Nations OCCUPATION: GUN Technician and Engineer
What he looks like at the beginning of the day, minus the oil stains, smears, grime, and all that other fun stuff. XD
Axel is an anthropomorphic fox that is 3'7" high and weighs eighty-three pounds. Meanwhile he has light brown fur and green eyes that give him a warm, friendly aura. Besides that, the fur around his mouth and chin, on his chest, as well as the tip of his tail, is white. At least it looks this way before he begins working and gets his hands, face, and everything else dirty.
For clothing, Axel typically wears a buttoned down blue mechanic's shirt along with brown leather work gloves. He also wears a pair of gray work pants, as well as white shoes with red tips at the end. Around his waist is a belt with several tools, mostly small ones. Most of his bigger and more complicated tools are in a toolbox, workbench, or just laying around somewhere. He also usually wears a welding visor.
Typically, Axel isn't a fighter, so he doesn't exactly have the buffed up, physical frame that most soldiers have. He is, however, a bit nimble and agile, though he doesn't usually put these skills to work, except during daily exercise. Besides that, he is smart, and can often be seen wearing a friendly smile, even when hard at work.
PERSONALITY: Cool and casual, Axel is a hard worker and takes pride in his creations. He's the kind that works hard and does a good job because he loves what he does and knows how to make work enjoyable. Reliable, trustworthy, and sometimes a little wild in terms of enjoying speed while listening to rock music. He also welcomes anyone and everyone to his machine shop, and even leaves out a bowl of candy and snacks for guests.
Axel also doesn't try to keep himself clean or refined on the job. The work he does with machines and electronics is dirty and messy, and only when the day is done does he clean himself off. Meanwhile, his workspace is often a disaster area with wires, spare parts, broken parts, solder, tools, bolts, and plenty of other things scattered around. It's the kind of setup that he understands but no one else would know where to begin with trying to organize it. If he were a human, he'd probably be seen starring in shows like American Chopper or Myth Busters. He loves that kind of thing.
In addition, he also has a creative side that fears no consequences. Any machine can be repaired, taken apart, screwed around with, turned around, anything. Regardless, he still finds people and most any living creature will always be smarter and more adept than any machine. Machines can only do certain tasks very well, but the living are far more adept and flexible.
Which, case in point, leads up to why he really can't stand Robotnik or any member that sympathizes with the Eggman Empire. To Axel, machines and robots are tools and gadgets to pull apart, reprogram, recalibrate, modify, rewire, and sometimes scrap when their parts are better off used elsewhere or melted down into something else. But the whole prospect of turning living creatures with bodies, minds, and souls into something so material such as robots is something that just aggravates him. He doesn't tolerate that kind of thing, and he's glad to know the machines and devices he makes are always being used by others in the war against Robotnik.
When it comes to combat, Axel is about an experienced fighter, but he's mostly a technician and engineer who works in machine shops. He knows how to use the weapons he makes and he's an extremely talented driver and pilot. However, there's one major weakness he has against Robotnik's army. He has an overwhelming phobia of lasers and plasma blasts. The way they burn and sizzle flesh and at times reduce living creatures into a melting puddle of steaming goo appalls him to no end and is the fuel of many of his nightmares. Had Robotnik's army composed of organic creatures or anything that used any kind of weapon except lasers, Axel could have been there on the frontlines, helping as a driver and as a repairman. While he doesn't mind coming out to help repair things after the battle's done, if a Badnik shows up and starts shooting laser blasts at him, he heads for the hills in an instant.
The merging of the worlds is something that Axel feels is beyond strange, and it's the reason he no longer has contact with his family. While he likes his new human allies, he feels things need to be changed back to normal, if and however possible. Also, he has only seen a few Pokémon in his lifetime, but he understands they're more than just pets and companions, and can often be valuable fighters to have on the field. But, his job keeps him pretty busy, and so that doesn't give him a whole lot of time to learn more about them, although he does find a few of them are cute and cool.
HISTORY: Axel Junio was born to Nika Junio, his mother, and his father, Takkan Junio, in the city of Westopolis. Nika was a lead scientist working in the Science Center as a senior researcher while his father, Takkan, worked in the power plant as a site director. Meanwhile, Axel is the oldest child in the family, having two younger sisters named Coco and Shanelle.
It was really his mother that got him interested in mechanical engineering at an early age, buying presents for him for birthdays and holidays based on construction, model building, and "Erector Set" like models, but even the complex ones were built in minutes with ease and really didn't seem to challenge him. When he was old enough, he became an apprentice of Damien Clyde the Badger. Damien, however, was a less than ethical master for Axel, never satisfied with his creations and accomplishments. The truth was, Damien had never seen an apprentice learn so quickly and implement his knowledge so swiftly. In truth, there were next to no flaws with Axel's projects, but Damien feared that in time, the young apprentice would easily overtake him and secure his position as head engineer if his education continued. Not wanting to lose his job, there were times where Damien would actually sabotage Axel's work, document the flaws he imposed, and make Axel's work seem not nearly as good as it actually was.
Facing an unsatisfactory performance review, Axel had attempted to appeal, but was ultimately unsuccessful and was denied an engineering position. Nika and Takkan were disappointed, but on several counts, Axel proved to both of them that his work was of good quality, and it wasn't long until they believed Damien may have had something to do with a poor apprenticeship. However, given Damien's connections, they couldn't remedy the situation without badly causing inner turmoil. Axel's only choice was to transfer to Central City and try to start over. With a heavy heart, Axel packed his things, said goodbye to his family, and set off for Central City.
Unfortunately for Axel, the blemish imposed by Damien's poor performance review stuck with him in front of the United Federation's technicians and engineers, and he had to work diligently to clean it off. It took years to convince them that his work was his own, and he wasn't stealing it or copying off of someone else. Still, even after performing well, his work was underappreciated due to some believing he was incredibly good at hiding his inspirations and resources, as well as lying to make it look like the work was his.
Ultimately, Axel was assigned to the military branch, Guardian Units of Nations. Even though he was a technician, he was still forced to undergo basic training, something he didn't have an easy time with. Getting dirty wasn't really a problem, but some of the more physically-straining activities wore him down. He did pass, however, and did manage to serve as a field engineer at times, improvising solutions as well as repairing vehicles, machines, and equipment on the field.
In time, Axel was able to prove he was a valuable technician and engineer who wasn't a liar or a thief. But his fear of lasers soon became apparent during Badnik attacks. Some mistook it for general cowardice when it's merely a phobia that he has that Robotnik uses exclusively. Because of it, he finds it impossible to face up to the robotic armies without becoming overwhelmed with fright. Regardless, he helps however he can, designing new weapons, vehicles, and other devices to help his comrades destroy the machines.
All the while, Axel was always calling his family back home to check up on them and see how things were going. That all ended with the world merge, however. Central City was merged and fused with the Pokémon world, but Westopolis was not. Everything went dark and there was no way to tell what had happened to Westopolis. Axel was quick to try and see how the world map had changed, but no matter what, it seemed that all of Westopolis was missing, gone, and without a trace, leaving Axel with no clue about what happened to the rest of his family.
Now, he hopes to help however he can when it comes to G.U.N. resisting the tyranny of the Eggman Empire, despite his fears and his anxiety. One day, he hopes he'll be able to see his family again, wherever they may be...
POKÉMON TEAM: N/A WEAPONS: N/A
Intelligence - Axel has intelligence that's comparable to even that of Miles Prower, and probably would have been good friends with him and would have enjoyed the kid's company if he had ever met him. He obviously can't do the helicopter tails thing, of course. What he does have over Tails is more years of experience with repair and engineering, however.
Perception - Axel can easily notice and fully understand details that most others are either baffled by or totally overlook. Such as being able to map out a circuit board, components, and wiring faster and more efficiently than most people know how to dab their toothbrush with toothpaste in the morning. He's the kind that can look at look at complex mazes and within seconds know the right path from start to finish. As a result, complex schematics and blueprints that would baffle others are something he feels right at home with.
Precision - One of Axel's most admirable capabilities is his ability to work with very small tools and keep a very steady hand during soldering, cutting, welding, and other precision-based work. As a result, he can do extremely precise and intricate work that most people would have to let a laser-guided computer and specialized tools perform.
Accuracy - Axel has the ability to notice design and manufacturing defects that most others would totally overlook, as well as grade the quality of parts and raw materials. He's not an extreme perfectionist, but he knows when something can go wrong from the way something was made and can prevent disaster before it strikes.
EQUIPMENT: - Axel is a walking tool bench, but he carries most of the common day items such as screwdrivers, hammers, a soldering gun, a blowtorch, and the like. He also wears a welding visor. He can do quite a bit with just these, as well as use Macgyver-like abilities to improvise with anything that's within his reach. However, to do a really good job, he needs his garage and workbench. And obviously he can't take that with him wherever he goes.
