"Thank-you" she says, nodding at Scar.

She nods, feeling lightheaded but otherwise alright. She doesn't have the time to taken in many details before Shelly comes running and gives her trainer a hug.

"I am happy to see you as well"

Moon then gets sight of Spin, who is out cold. Concern for her sets in.

"May I permit myself to inquire as to what happened to her?"

Yet, asking about Dredd nagged at Moon. His eerie message fresh in her mind. She couldn't let that dark creature get his way...

Red Team stayed with Spin until she was back up. Then they started to head out of the Safari Zone. Scar hung back to find Markus and Gold who had been wondering around. As the Moon, Spin and Max walked throgh the Safari Zone. Max couldnt help but feel upset about what had happened. Max walked passed a lake looked out into the water. Max picked up some rocks tossing them in. He wanted to do more but didnt have the energy.
"Stupid memories," Max picked up rock after rock. "Stupid powers, stupid team rocket..." he kicked dirt. Moon and Spin hung back.

Max kicked around until he pulled out his fishing line and threw it in. realizing what he had done he shouted having to climb into the water to get it. As he looked down a strange image appeared. A calming presence fell over him. The tiny Dragon swam around just below him poping out of the water. Max looked at it.
"So you are here to help me huh.."
Max looked into eyes seeing the little Dratinis vogue.

Trainer Stats:

Not prepared to just get caught the Dratini swirls around preparing for battle. With speed and raw power the Little Dragon takes off coming right back down at Max firing an electric bolt into the water. Max calls out in pain. Using his powers to push him out of the water. Once I shore Max stood up with his legs shaking. He had been beaten like this before. He knew that this was going to happen fast. Max paused for a second. Then dropped back using another push he knocked Dratini spinning into the air.

"Now I got you."

Max rolled out a pokemon ball releasing Kangaskhan. While Dratin was trying to get back its focus. Kangaskhan went into the water. To distract it Max kept using psychic pushes to keep it off balance. When it was finally ready it came down and Max took off running for the water. The Dragon let out a massive blast causing Max to be slammed into the water. Max pushed his head up from the water to see the dragon circling.
"Now come and get me"
The Dragon built up speed and dove down at full speed heading right for Max. Max stood perfectly still waiting for the right moment. When the Dratini was in range he jumped out of the way as Kangashan appeared. The might pokemon came brusting through the water with a mighty Dizzy Punch. The Punch Connected perfectly with Dratini. Max took out his last safari ball and threw it into the Dratini. Max picked up the floating ball and both of them left the water. Max crawled out of the water, Kangaskhan followed right behind.

Moon watched as Max and Kangaskhan squared off against the dragon type. His tactics were interesting, a mix of his Pokémon's power and his own. Although it had been surprising to see him charge into the water, it appeared to serve him well, as the Dratini was added to his team.

Her thoughts, however, remained elsewhere. The slight pang of guilt she felt didn't help matters, but it was no where near overwhelming.

"Are you alright?" she manages.

Max stood up soaked in water. Looking over at the other two with an embarrassed looked on his face. "I heard it in the water...It was calling to him...Dratini can be very dangerous, and moves at high speeds..fighting it in the open would have been very difficult with un trained pokemon."

The three of them continue on there way. As they reach the main area. Something catches there eye.

Moon gave the grass type a glancing and shook her head.

"I shall pass."

She remembered Max having an Exeggcute when they were Slowpoke hunting, and assumed he wouldn't be going for it. Spinel, on the other hand, she wasn't sure.

She was unsure weither or not she should ask about Dredd or that... dreadful Pokémon of his.

The look down at the Exeggcute. Max smiles, his clothes dripping water still. He pulls out a pokeball releasing his Exeggcute.
"Are you two related?" The little egg pokemon circle around each other. The bump into each other as a warning and Max laughs returning them. Max realized that he was getting off track again. He was tired from the battle and his powers were almost drained.
"Im sorry I keep slowing us down..." He looks over to Moon.
"I know something happened after I left..We can talk about it once everyone is safe."

"Alright, but be prudent..." she warns, eyeing him carefully.

Scar has set out across area two in search of Markus and Gold who went looking for the rare dragon type.
"Gold ! Markus ! "

as he reaches the next lake he he stands out looking over. He scans the area and see the two fishing.
"We gotta go ! "

on the other end Max looks over at Moon. His expression changes.
"Once we have time, I can answer any question you have.." Max stops feeling something off. He pushes Moon and Spin out of the way. Max is hit with a hyper beam and flies across the field. Moon and Spin looks up and see the trainer on a Dragonite land.

Ace Trainer jumps down.
"we told you 48 hours Max. "

Meek Moon seems to have given away and the young woman boldly adresses the Ace Trainer.

"Attacking an individual in that manner is not the way to engage in a civalized affair. It is purly barbarian and a tactic of the weak."

Her voice is back to it's level formal, although she does signal Shelly to go check on Max.

The Ace Trainer smirks as he walks passed Moon and Spin.
" My tactics are flawless. " After that statement he acts as if Moon and Spin are not even there.
"Max, Im a little disappointed that you feel for that again. Ive heard so much about you and your team and this is it..."

The angry Dragonite lands using its wings to blast a strong wind at Moon and Spin.

Moon frowns, trying to think fast. She couldn't stand up to that kind of wind, they'd all...

No...

"Earthshaker!" she calls, drawing her Rhyhorn. The Pokémon is heavy enough to stay grounded and Moon and Shelly use him as an anchor.

"I am aware we are not well aquainted, but... I am in need of you. For now, standing still will suffice"

The ground Pokémon simply nods, keeping himself firmly planted.

Spinel was blown back by the wind, even when Kohana had tried to keep her grounded. This was not helping the migraine she was enduring, still feeling the after affects of trying to influence Moon's emotions. She had landed hard on her left side and she didn't even bother to stand. The Linoone ran over to her to make sure she wasn't injured before turning and growling at the ace trainer and Dragonite, his fur standing up.

The Ace Trainer walked along the grass as careless as someone taking a stroll in the park. He twirled a pokeball through his fingers.

Ace Trainer Keth jumps down.
"You even traded in the old weak trainers for even weaker trainers."

As he gets closer to Max. He bend over kneeling next to max who is laying face down. Ace grabs his shoulder flipping him over.
"Dont make me drag yo...." Keths pupils widen as he looks at the smile on Max's eyes. He eyes then drop down the Dratini in Max's Arms. Despite being weak Max lets out a big smile coughing out a few words.
" Hyper ...Beam.."

Keth is lifted off the ground and shot into the air. The Ace Trainer hits the ground rolling. When he final stops he tries to get up but passed out. Max tosses up the Dratini and calls for it to repeat . The Dratini this time fires into the ground following along a big circle. Dirt and dust are kicked up into the air.
Dragonite turns to Max and flies full speed. It flies into the dust storm. As the dust starts to settle Moon and Spin see some of the fight going on. Max's Rhyhorn knocking Dragonite out of the air, Scyther landing on its back stricking with it mighty claws. Dragonite drops to the ground getting up and knocking back the pokeon. Tauros stomps on the ground knocking it back down. The Dragonite goes to charge but is hit with stun spore. The stunned dragonite moves to fire its hyper beam but is knocked out by Kangaskhan. Once the Dragonite hits the ground the see Max pushing himself off the ground.

Spinel did manage to stand after a moment, being helped up by Kohana. The Linoone had not left her side, even when the Dragonite had attacked. She stayed back, not exactly sure what to do. Besides, it seems like Max has everything under control. She didn't need to jump in.

Moon takes the oppurtunity to rush over and see if Max is okay. Of course, she warns her Pokémon to watch for any sudden movements the Ace Trainer may make. Better safe then sorry.

"You appear to have endured quite a beating. Are you in need of medical attention? A rest?"
