Is this a hack?

I recently got a shiny Charizard over GTS, and I have a bad feeling that it might be a hack :s

It's level 100, in a Master ball, was 'caught' April 16, 'caught' on Route 3.

It's stats, ability, and everything else seems to be normal, it's just those things that have me a little worried.

Any Pokemon that isn't available in Unova won't be 'caught' there. It could be hatched or traded though.

Never trust GTS shinies, because they are nearly all fake. :)

The fact it was caught at Route 3 is enough to you know that it's hack.

Charizard (Charmeleon and Charmander) could never be legally caught in Route 3.

The OT name is in Japanese, and I gave them a hack Typhlosion, so it's not too much of a loss :P

The key to GTS is neither accept nor hack hacked Pokemon.

That way, people don't have to ask these questions!

It is indeed a hack. Starter Pokemon will never show up as caught on a route.

That's not entirely true. In the MODERN games they will never show up like that, but in the original version Special Pikachu Edition [or Yellow], you can catch an abandoned Charmander outside Cerulean City. But it's true, your's is a hack.

They've never caught the hacks I've made yet, but my hacks look legit.

Have you guys forgot about the thing that lets you trade pokemon over from DP HGSS and platinum It could have been hacked on one of the early games and then sent over to the 4th gen games and then sent over to the 5th gen!

There is a way to actually hack Black & White pokemon so the 5th Gen isn't safe from Hacked Pokemon
