Remake - Pokemon Forum

Ok,

We all know..
Red, Blue and Yellow turned into Firered and Leafgreen
Gold and Silver turned into Soulsilver and Heartgold

But did anyone hear about a remake for the hoenn games? If so, Can anyone confirm it? Plz.

It's merely rumoured that there will be R/S/E remakes, no definite yet.

There's every chance, come 2013ish, there could be RS remakes (just keeping with FRLG, and HGSS only having the original two in each).

Of course, whether or not they think it'll be worth it, is another question.

Well, this raises a question. Would they follow the trend of the remakes already released and combine elements from each respective trio of games or just let Ruby and Sapphire keep their individual storylines? I mean they were the first games to introduce version-exclusive legendaries, and then Emerald came along and put them into one game, but post-E4.

I would love to see a remake of them though. I had a blast playing them when they first came out. I just hope it's released on the regular DS instead of the 3DS.

Do the same thing with HG/SS except with the game's respective region.

Guess I post a rumor that I heard on Twitter. The rumor has it that they are going to remake Emerald for the 3DS.

This would cover the problem of version exclusive but then again it would go against it. This will break the trend as well. Still at the same time it does have a Battle Frontier which RS lacks. Then again there are a lot of things that RSE lacks that are in later games (EX: Night/Day)

Personally I would like an RS Remake. Still if it is on the 3DS then I think I would have found a reason to get one now since it is the only game I be interested in getting one for.

Really? You would buy a 300 dollar system for ONE game? I know what I am doing to play this new release...

I don't know if I'm the first to say this, but I doubt it will happn anytime soon because the Pokemon from the original Hoenn games are transferrable into modern B/W. If I recall, LeafGreen & FireRed were created to complete the Pokédex. I still play the original RSE games. I'd like a remake, but since it's still playable on a modern system, unlike generations I and II, it would be good, but unecessary.

what if N rode reshiram or zektrom all the way over to hoenn, and in bw2, you play as N and travels a journey in the hoenn region 0_0

I had this idea on another forum. I would be so excited to get to play as N. Going from refusing to catch Pokemon to experiencing what it is like to be a really trainer. One who trains Pokemon from babies and battles gyms with them, and forms endless bonds... until you restart... and then do it al over again.
