Default Latio-Reol v. narphoenix

3v3
Restrictions: 3 chills / Poké, no OHKO moves
DQ: 5 days.
Damage cap: none
Field: An expansive maze dug out by Diglett. Due to the darkness, accuracy is reduced by one stage for all Pokémon and Evasion is increased by one for the same due to the easy ability to duck into a tunnel.
Open ref

Arranged through PM

Go Staryu (no gender, Natural Cure)

Hammuhyd, take the field.

Hammuhyd, Gible
Sand Veil
Sig Move: N/A

Hammuhyd, Start off with a Hone Claws, then a Dragon Rush. If the Staryu protects on the second turn, go for a second Hone Claws. We need all the aim we can get.

Round One

Latios-Reol

[Hammuhyd] Gible(?)
HP: 100%
Energy: 100%
Hone Claws~Dragon Rush/Hone Claws

Narphoenix

Staryu
HP: 100%
Energy:100%
Reflect~Ice Beam

Deep inside the Diglett cave, two trainers decided on a battle in where else? A dark cave that no one can see in. The trainers stumble around in the darkness as they make their selections. The first chooses a Staryu, the other a Gible.

Staryu was first to move. The brown star shaped Pokemon wanted to keep itself safe from massive damage from physical attacks. It created a barrier in front of itself. The should protect it very well. (Staryu -6 energy Reflect)

Hammuhyd watched the star creature setting itself up on defense. It decided the best thing to do was build up its strength. In the dark, it began to sharpen its claws against each other, making them sharper. This caused its strength and accuracy to increase.(Hammuhyd -4 energy +1ATK ACC)

Both Pokemon wanted to be the first to hit the other one. Staryu moved first as it attempted to take aim in the dark and fired a cold beam from its red center. Hammuhyd saw the cold beam go past him in a very bad miss, as it charged in a huge rush, head on. Clearly, he could not see clearly in the dark as he crashed against the wall, missing his opponent. (Staryu -23 energy) (Hammuhyd -16 energy)

Latios-Reol

[Hammuhyd] Gible(?)
HP: 100%
Energy: 80%
+1 ATK, +1 ACC
Condition: I missed!

Narphoenix

Staryu
HP: 100%
Energy:71%
Reflect will end after next round
Condition: I missed too!

Notes: Each Pokemon was given an Evasion point and lost an Accuracy Point for the dark as stated.
Narphoenix is next to post.
When Latio-Reol posts, please stat the gender of Hammuhyd. It wasn't needed for this round but may be needed later on.

We have no use for attack, but some aim would be nice. Psych Up to copy his stat changes, and fire the Ice beam.

Oh, Hammuhyd is Male.

Hammuhyd, Sand Attack Staryu to get rid of that accuracy it'll gain from Psych Up. Then, use Hone Claws again.

Round Two

Latios-Reol

[Hammuhyd] Gible(?)
HP: 100%
Energy: 80%
+1 ATK, +1 ACC
Condition: I missed!

Narphoenix

Staryu
HP: 100%
Energy:71%
Reflect will end after next round
Condition: I missed too!

The darkness was hard to see in. Staryu figured since its opponent was getting stronger, it too, should get the same treatment. It noted how strong Hammuhyd had gotten. It caused itself to copy the strength of the tiny dragon Pokemon. Staryu now had the same stats and was ready to rumble. (Staryu -3 energy +1ATK +1 ACC)

Hammuhyd didn't like fighting in the dark. It didn't like fighting clean either. It grabbed a handful of dirt and threw it at the red center on the brown star. Staryu shook itself as the dirty attack of sand caused it to lose the accuracy build up it just gained. (Hammuhyd -2 energy) (Staryu -1ACC)

Staryu was ready for a devastating move. It was more than capable of it so why not unleash before the monster gets stronger? It took aim at Hammuhyd and began to think cold thoughts as it fired a cold beam of energy at the dragon Pokemon. The tiny Gible tumbled backwards as the sheer cold beam struck it, sending chills down its spine as the move was very effective. (Staryu -24 energy) (Hammuhyd -23 energy)

Hammuhyd was not quite ready to attack. It stood up after taking the ice beam attack and began to once again sharpen its claws and take careful aim. Doing so raised its chances of winning in the dark. It also watched as Staryu reflect wore off.(Hammuhyd -4 energy +1ATK +1ACC)

Latios-Reol

[Hammuhyd] Gible(?)
HP: 77%
Energy: 74%
+2 ATK, +2 ACC
Condition: Getting stronger baby!

Narphoenix

Staryu
HP: 100%
Energy:44%
+1ATK
Condition: I made a good hit!

No DQ was given, so a number between 2 and 6 has been generated randomly: 5.

Latio-Reol, you have 120-hours (5 days) to post your moves or you will be disqualified.

Shadow Claw both turns, Hammuhyd, unless that Staryu prohibits the use of it in any way or would nullify all the damage. If this is the case, Hone Claws instead.

Screw this, you're outta here. Switch for:

Shroomish (F)
Ability: Poison Heal
Signature Move:n/a

Then Shroomish, wait till he comes close to get a better shot and use Spore.

Switch (Shroomish)~Spore

Round Three

Latios-Reol

[Hammuhyd] Gible(?)
HP: 77%
Energy: 74%
+2 ATK, +2 ACC
Condition: Getting stronger baby!

Narphoenix

Staryu
HP: 100%
Energy:44%
+1ATK
Condition: I made a good hit!

The cave was SO dark. Staryu was called back into its pokeball so to try a different strategy. In place of Staryu was a Shroomish. It erupted from its pokeball and stretched and smelled the musty air of the cave. It looked in front of it seeing the tiny Gible across the way. Rather than say hello, Hammuhyd charged in with both ots its claws changing to a dark color. It struck its claws twice against the Shroomish. Shroomish bounced back a little as it shook its head, trying to gain its senses. (Shroomish -24 HP) (Hammuhyd -34 energy)

Shroomish regained its senses and with its foe close to him, it began to let out from its body, a yellow colored cloud of dust into the air. The dust began to cover and stick to the body of Hammuhyd. The little Gible tried to keep its eyes open but it was just so tired. A little nap sounded great. It fell onto its back and closed its eyes and went to sleep. With its body covered in spores, only time would tell how long it would sleep. (Shroomish -6energy)

Latios-Reol

[Hammuhyd] Gible(?)
HP: 77%
Energy: 40%
+2 ATK, +2 ACC SLP
Condition: Sleeping! Do not disturb!

Narphoenix

Shroomish
HP: 76%
Energy:94%

Condition: Lively[/center]

Alright Deborah, the keyword here is MAYHEM! Leech Seed to start. Then slam him with Toxic. If he wakes up after Leech Seed and attacks, use Protect. If he does not attack and does not do something that would prevent Toxic, proceed with Toxic. If he does something that would prevent Toxic, use Growth.

Leech Seed~Toxic/Protect/Growth

OK, time for you to really hate me. First off, I'll swap out for RAAM the Larvitar AFTER Deborah uses Leech Seed, regardless of it's sucess.

RAAM the Larvitar, Male
Guts
Signature Move: N/A

RAAM, considering that I did nothing to stop Deborah from attacking with Toxic and Hammuhyd did not wake up and attack, Toxic should come your way. Whether or not it happens to work, or if it comes at all, is irrelevent: let the Shroomish use it, then use Earthquake.

Swap to RAAM after Deborah uses Leech Seed~Earthquake

And my name is NOT Latios-Reol.
