This battlefield is simple: A black-floored open-air arena, with a large, dark dirt patch marking where the battling commences. This 100x100 arena is where some of the biggest Pokemon battles in all of history have ever gone down. The Arena itself plays no tricks, the lighting compensates for the fact that all battles hosted here are in the night, and the moon is bright. There aren't any special effects in this arena, so battles here are known for coming down to skill more often than luck.

Alright, let's do this! Come on out, Striker!

The battlefield was dark, with only the moon as its form of light. Two trainers decided to pit their pets to the death just for fun. Both trainers were totally fine with this as this was just a part of everyday life. Both trainers made their selections. It would be Striker, an Absol, and Scyez, a Riolu. This should be a great battle.

As two battle began, Striker wanted to start off with some illusion. It concentrated on making clones of itself. Scyez watched and thought that the illusion trick would be a great way to start out. It to, began to create illusons of itself. Striker managed to create two copies of itself, and Scyez made one. (Striker -6 energy 2 clones) (Scyez -3 energy 1 clone)

Striker then thought that increasing its strength would be another good start. It sat down on the dark ground and began to sharpen its claws. Sparks flew from its claws as they became sharper, increasing its strength. Scyez felt like a copy cat. It to, sharpened its tiny claws, increasing its strength. The battle was off to a good start. Hmm...Alright then, time to really get this on.

Scyez, For the first move, Quick Attack. If you hit a Clone, Quick Attack the next turn. If you hit Striker, and your clone is hit by her attack, then use another Swords Dance. If you hit Striker and you get hit by her attack, then use Drain Punch.

Quick Attack ~ Quick Attack/Swords Dance/Drain Punch

Round Two

Scyez was ordinarily not the fastest Pokemon in the universe, but in this instance she was ready and prepared to leap into action even before the speedy Striker. Scyez selected one of the Absols for her target, then ran right for it, moving so quickly that she seemed to blur and even disappear a few times, though it may have been just a trick of the moonlight. However, what was not a trick of the moonlight was the immateriality of the Absol that Scyex 'slammed' into, and the fact that it disappeared in a haze of white. Scyez took a few steps back from her opponent - and the last remaining clone Absol - and let out a petulant huff of frustration.
[Quick Attack: Scyez, -10% Energy]

Striker closed her eyes, summoning her natural power to foresee disasters. She could see a disaster in Scyez's future, one that would come from her own mysterious abilities. A psychic wave flowed from her mind, imbuing itself into the world around her. Striker opened her eyes, ending the attack. In the near future, the wave would spring into action, causing Striker headache, disorientation, and the whole nine psychic yards. Scyez, of course, realized none of this. All sheknew was that Striker seemed to have wasted a turn.
[Future Sight: Striker, -12% Energy]

Once again, Scyez rushed forward, determined to hit the proper target. Light streaked out behind her, white and very bright against the dark of the night. The Riolu, however, did not seem to have very good luck. She passed right through the Absol she was aiming at, stumbling at the end of her run, not having expected to miss. She managed to right herself, then she shot a red dagger-glare at Striker.
[Quick Attack: Scyez, -10% Energy]

Striker didn't much care about Scyez's annoyance. She crouched down, gathering her strength into her haunches like a cat ready to pounce. Then, she lunged, her claws glowing and beginning to elongate, glowing a bright pinkish purple, flickering with white sparks all down their lengths. Before Scyez could even react, Striker was gone, and the Riolu's blue fur was slashed with three long streaks of bleeding red. Scyez gasped, clutching her wounds and glaring at her white-furred opponent, determined to avenge her injuries.
[Psycho Cut: Striker, -8% Energy; Scyez, -21% HP]

Alright, we need that damage out of the way. Who likes damage, after all?

Drain Punch, but give it Quick Attack's speed to hit before Striker, well, strikes. If Striker slips in a Protect, then use Swords Dance for the first move, then either Agility or Drain Punch-Drain Punch if Striker attacks for the second move, and Agility if she doesn't.

Quick Attack+Drain Punch/Swords dance~Agility/Drain Punch

I hope that wasn't confusing.

Round Three

haybalebarn

[Striker] Absol (F)

HP: 100%
Energy: 71%
Condition: Oh, look, you’ve gotten your blood all over my beautiful claws; +2 Attack
Moves: Double Team ~ Psycho Cut

Latio-Reol

[Scyez] Riolu (F)

HP: 79%
Energy: 74%
Condition: Trying to staunch a bit of the bleeding; +2 Attack
Moves: Quick Attack + Drain Punch

While Striker looked sadly at her ruined claws, Scyez glared at her angrily. The Riolu knew that she needed to get some damage done quickly since her opponent seemed to have no problems with taking the advantage again and again; she would need to strike quickly too, to avoid any defences the Absol might put up. She focused energy in her fist, turning it a strange, green colour. The next thing that we saw was the dog charging across the arena towards Striker at an incredible speed. The disaster-forecaster hadn’t been able to foresee this one, and was slugged across the face with a powerful punch. What’s more, Scyez felt some of his energy returning and the wound on her chest healing a little – maybe things were about to get better.

On the other hand, they could be about to get a lot worse. Striker was even more cautious than before now; he didn’t want to get hit like that again if she could help it. She began to run in rings around Scyez, making her giddy as she tried to track her progress. The Riolu was expecting some retaliation, so she was a little surprised when her opponent began to slow down again. She was even more surprised when she realised that she had four opponents. They stood in an “x” shape around her, each giving her an intimidating glare. Scyez looked at each of them in turn, but there were no differences between them to be able to find which was real. This was going to be even more difficult for her than before.

A wicked glint flickered in each of the Absol’s eyes as they watched their confused opponent. In an instant they had dashed forwards across the pitch and slashed at Scyez’s chest. The fighting dog howled in pain and fell on her back. Fortunately, they had missed the original cut, but that was little consolation to Scyez, who found even more blood seeping from her skin.

And that wasn’t the end of it. The Riolu had just forgotten about her opponent’s strange actions in the last turn when a bolt of silver lightning fell from the sky, striking her with tremendous force. A loud screaming erupted from her lungs. She couldn’t deal with much more of this.

Alright, use Zen Headbutt, then Psycho Cut. If the Riolu tries to protect itself in any way, use Swords dance. Also use Sword's Dance if he switches pokemon. I hate to be cocky, but it looks like one down, two to go.

Round Four

Haybalebarn

[Striker]Absol(F)
HP: 81%
Energy: 63%
+2ATK 3 Clones

Latio-Reol

[Scyez]Riolu
HP: 47%
Energy:61%
+2 ATK

The arena was getting a little too heated for Scyez. Its trainers called its Pokemon back into its Pokeball. Making another selection, a Larvitar was chosen. RAAM looked around and saw its opponent across the way. It watched Striker begin to sharpen its claws together, making sparks fly about as it strengthed itself. The little RAAM was in for big trouble if its opponent continued to get any stronger. (Striker -3energy +2ATK)

After Striker had made sure its claws were extremely sharp, it got a running start at its opponent. Its body began to turn a purpleish color. Once it was close enough, it used its paw to swipe at the Larvitar. RAAM stumbled back as it realized just how sharp Striker had sharpened its claws. Striker was well pleased as it was ready to face RAAM with plenty of energy to spare. (Striker -8 energy) (RAAM -19hp)

RAAM had had enough. It wanted to get in a good attack itself. It jumped into the air and pounded the ground, sending ripples from where it stood. The ripples began to shake Striker as it struggled to stay standing. The earthquake caused the clones to vanish as Absol was shaken up. (RAAM -16 energy) (Striker -18hp)

Haybalebarn

[Striker]Absol(F)
HP: 63%
Energy: 52%
+4ATK

Latio-Reol

[RAAM]Larvitar(M)
HP: 81%
Energy:84%

OK, RAAM. Use Earthquake unless that Absol does any status-boosting move, uses any move to prevent you from using Earthquake before you can use it, or swaps out to another Pokemon that resists or is immune to Ground. If the Absol prevents you from doing damage at all or goes fors stat-boosting, use Dragon Dance. If the Absol swaps out to another Pokemon that resists/is immune to Ground, or just prevents you from using Earthquake BUT NOT a damage-dealing move, use Rock Slide instead.

Earthquake/Rock Slide/Dragon Dance~Earthquake/Rock Slide/Dragon Dance/Roar
