Have a manga that you favour in particular? Whether it is the largely acknowledged Pokemon Adventures, to the not so recognized Pokemon PiPiPi, use this thread to express your views, or to pose any questions you may happen to have regarding a specific manga.

Pokemon special 1 Chapter: 1 vs Mew was a big shock that reds 1st pokemon was actully a Poliwhirl and his 1st pokemon he caught was a Nidorino

I loved the R/S arc, but was somewhat dissapointed by its ending. Meh, that's just me wanting to so more of Ruby and Sapphire. :3

Guess I'll have to read FR/LG and then see them again in Emerald.

Only two replies on this? After being around(and stickied) for a few weeks? No wonder we never got a Manga section.

A Comics/Collectibles shop In a mall I go to every few weeks had some really old copies of Adventures/Special("comes with terrific stickers!") and Magicial Journey a long time ago. They apparently all had different format releases. *Too lazy to explain*

For more recent things, I find the D/P Adventures series to be rather entertaining.

Aside from that, I always thought It was weird the Chaung Yi(sp?) releases were only In Singapore. Anyone care to explain to me why they do that, by the way?

I got hooked on the Pokemon Special series. The first 3 arcs were amazing. R/S is boring though, I'm dragging my way through it. Agreed on D/P being pretty fun though.

Added a rule that we can't link to manga scans on other sites. Pokemon is a licenced manga, afterall.

As for myself, never got into the manga portion, but I'd probaby enjoy it.

I like the art in the Pokemon Manga, mostly. But to be honest, I didn't really take any interest in the manga plot line. Yes, I know it follows the anime plot line at long extent, everything seemed to move way too fast, and I never really got into it.

Since there are FR/LG arcs, do you think Gold and the others will make a comeback and make HG/SS arcs?

Only PokeSpec would be able to make the Soul Outfit look mildly tolerable. I wonder what'll happen to Crystal if they do bring them back for a HGSS arc.

I think that they'd have made her update her outfit, and dye her hair brown.

Just got djne reading the R/B/G Pokemon Manga. I have to say that I enjoyed it but was dissapointed in Red and Greens final battle.

Pokemon special series is just aweful. Especially first 3 arcs are really superb.
