Posting from my blue 3DS right now, imo, it's worth it. Very lovely, powerful little system. The graphics still amaze me at times, and I've had it since launch. That and I find Streetpass kinda fun, though not too many people have 3DS's right now so passes are few and far between, but oh well, hopefully it'll catch on soon. Spotpass is kind of cool, too, only downside I've found with this system is that it kinda squishes old DS game graphics.

I want a blue or a red one.Im probably not gonna get one but i know a place where you can get them super cheap like a ds.

lol same deal here. I traded in my DSi for my gf's aqua 3DS which i happen to think was a very good trade in esp considering we got it for only 6o something dolars for all our trade ins.

& the Only time we had our street pass/spot pass work was when we took our DSes to Disneyland park for Mickey's Halloween party..
actually bumpt into 3 other heads running their 3DS.

I think you should get a 3DS now that the price's dropped down, for all of the things it can do as a next-gen system... but if you have a regular DS, keep it for your DS games. Even though the 3DS supports DS games, the nature of the screens make all of the old games fuzzy and unattractive.

You can easily play the 3ds in DS mode using DS-sized display instead of the whole 3ds screen. You just have to switch modes.

I've actually got a lot of Mii's, 125 to be exact. I just go down to the local Zone Gaming(It's a place where you buy time and play on computers or 360's with that time, only in Canada I think.) and BAM...20 people streetpass me. Or go to a midnight launch event, BAM...20 Mii's. Or organize a school event called "Mii Day" (yeah, I did XD) and get many, many streetpasses. I'm also one piece away form beating all the puzzles. Boom.

I also love the fact that you can take 3D pictures, and I do everytime I get the chance to.

Game library...well, it has a KH coming soon.
...which has Neku form The World Ends With You in it. I would squeal and dance for fanboyishness, but...I aleady did. For a whole day. It also has OoT, pokemon rumble blast, mini-movies on Nintendo Video, AR cards, it reads QR codes...it's just a powerhouse of a handheld device.

Yay for KH! I went super fangirl when I found out about Neku, but as for existing titles, I highly recommend Samurai Warrior Chronicles and Blazblue CS2. :)

Metroid Fusion and Kirby and the Amazing Mirror should be coming out in a month or two for free. :)
