A bug catcher stumbled through the undergrowth, tracking a group of wild Caterpie. In his journey, he came across one of the numerous paths which took adventurers through the forest; the path was being occupied by a foreign-looking trainer – possibly a resident of the Hoenn region. By his side stood a small, hard-head dragon, who glared at the bug catcher angrily. The trainer, who was called JackHamer, quickly challenged benmac, the bug catcher, to a battle. Not wanting to seem afraid, the hunter accepted and sent out a Scyther to combat his opponent’s Bagon. The two pokémon glared at each other, forming a mutual bond of hatred before they’d even begun to battle. It seemed that this would be a fairly violent clash.
Condition: Not impressed by the bug he’s facing

~ Double Team
Scyther restrained himself from attacking at first, making sure to take the time to create a strategy before diving in. He knew that he would need a power boost before he went rushing in, so he began to dance an elaborate dance, which was comprised of all the important aspects of swordplay. He felt his muscle power increase as he danced – he knew that he would be able to bring down his foe even more quickly now.
Unlike her opponent, Bagon had no time for tactics; her strategy was to deal as much damage as possible as quickly as possible. She ran at the green bug with fire burning in her eyes and anger filling her mind. Scyther looked down at her, bemused, as she head-butted his legs. This didn’t seem to be getting them anywhere fast.
However, the fighting bug was afraid that future attacks might carry a bit more of a threat. He ran in circles around the angry Bagon until he seemed to be nothing more than a green blur. The dragon growled as the speedy bug raced around her; she got so angry that she challenged him to stand still and fight like a man. So he did. And so did three other Scyther. Bagon blinked in disbelief, wondering how she was now fighting four opponents. Not that it mattered – she was still sure that she could win.
She was so sure that she flew straight into her next attack without a stop for breath. She charged at the Scyther to her left, trying to grab its leg in her jaw. Unfortunately, it flickered and vanished as soon as she bit down and her momentum carried her into the tree behind. The oak shook, showering the dragon in Metapod and making her decidedly more irritable.
