Re: How does one formulate an idea for a story?
Okay, that's enough. Don't you go getting all wordy, Lusankya. And you, Voices, stop replying. You guys need to coexist, it's not like the forum is big enough for you to completely avoid each other, and feuding and fighting dosen't solve a damn thing. Just drop it, please. Its also annoying, and gives a bad impression of both of you. You're both amazing, been here a long time, are AMAZING help with anyone new, and this arguement leaves the impression that you BOTH don't care about anyone, and that's not who you are. Now I need to lighten up this post, or I'LL get all mean.
:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
There. See how I did that? Do that.

No need to do that, Cody. They're just being idiots (like they usually are). xD
But you guys really DO need to stop ruining threads with pointless banter. Take it to VMs or something. Better yet, go creep each other on Skype. :P

Hay, not cool. xD
And I couldn't stand talking with him on Skype. I would eventually kill myself using the most rusty blade I could find laying around the house.

If you can't find one, I have one you can borrow. Never say I'm not willing to help the needy. :D
ALSO. With my story ideas, I tend to just think about the basic outline for the story, then the characters within that story, then minor plot points that develop from there. In the case of StormRiders, I had the beginning, middle and end planned. Whatever else happens in between I have NO idea. xD I keep getting new ideas all the time!

Re: How does one formulate an idea for a story?
I'ma gonna post here because I'm a gangstah fish! >:3
I tend to think of the plot of the story first, think of the end and then let my mind run free. Before I go to sleep, I think of where my story might go in the next chapter, so I have an idea of what I want to do before I start to write it up :D The only planning goes on in my head, and if I don't like how I've done the chapter, I scrap it and start again... later! xD
