Default Ghadafi's Palace is taken.

So, now what? It is obvious to see it will take a very long time for the country of Libya go to peace, as we have seen with Egypt. What now that the rebels are successful? Will it go back to its old backwards theocracy like Iran did, or will it become more like Qatar?

Hard to say. I don't think even the rebels know what they want.

I doubt they do either, though I guess they are happy to be rid of Gaddafi, though it seems they have 4 possible candidates for leadership. I just hope it does not end up like the French Revolution.

Yea, chances are they'll just go through the steps of being a "better" country, then turn right back around and fall unto chaos and anarchy for a few years. That's how most countries end up, though Egypt is a good exception.

The thing about Egypt (I've been there and to Libya, as well as Syria and South Africa and the Congo) is that its people seemed relatively intelligent regarding what they would do after Mubarak left, and when he did, they implemented it quickly. Libya, on the other hand, took months to make any sort of progress and can't even find the person responsible.

Talk about not knowing how to fight a revolution.

Most countries do not know how to do a proper revolution. Nearly every revolution (I have read about) has either failed in the uprising, or failed immediately after.

Yea, I remember during the Green Movement in Iran. I didn't stay for long after it started, but man it was nuts! Have you ever been in a revolution before?
