In anime, dunno... but in games, pokemon will only faint, but never die.

I was kind of thinking about magnemite not having a gender cause I wanted to wait until they all eventually died in New Mauvile and I know there is no ditto.

Also, the ditto thing... does it like transform into the other pokemon to do it, or does it stay all gooey and stuff... It seems kind of like doing it to a a big doll that makes babies for you or having it with your dog....
