Alto Texas fires police force

Ok seriously? Fire the police force? There's something wrong when with the economy and government when towns are firing their police force. That's like essential to a state... I wouldn't be surprised if crime skyrockets, because the last thing you need is self-regulation of crime. Guns don't kill people; people kill people. If given the opportunity, people will do stupid stuff regardless. This is one such case.
