Nalani Hyland (Fogbound)
X-Force
Wind, Cloud manipulation
Enlightened School for Mutants; Countryside near New York

“It’s great that you’re a part of it now, too.” Kiseki’s voice shattered the growing silence, smiling has he stepped closer, bridging the gap between them. Somehow, having him nearer now stirred something inside, although Nalani couldn’t quite pin what this was exactly. For now, she decided to shift this to the side, and quickly refocused on the situation.

“So you’re known as Vengeance, and Mr. Smith is Justice…does that mean we have to use code names in the X-Force?” The dark-haired boy was now facing Amy, posing her a very good question. It made sense for them to use alternate names, considering their actions, but there was no way of knowing for sure without a clear answer.

"Well, you guys should get going, you've had a lo-" From how she started, it didn’t seem like the blonde would be replying to his query. However, they would never how her statement’s end…

The ground rumbled furiously, and but mere seconds later, was followed by an explosion. "What's going on?" Amy exclaimed, obviously in reference to what had just taken place.

Almost as a cruel twist, a metallic body came bursting through the wall, forcing the students to dodge as it continued its trajectory forward. Nalani quickly turned to the gaping hole left, the answer to Amy’s question in dead sight. Violence, rage, chaos, this trio of words best described the scene that met her eyes. After a few moments, she managed to turn away, looking for the body, and noticed it had gone to pierce deeper into the school. She wanted to go see if her fellow student was okay, but didn’t dare move away.

"I-I can't help in this..." Nalani finally turned back to face the blonde, having missed her previous sentence. Despite feeling a little shocked and plenty puzzled, she didn’t inquire, and only nodded.

"Do you see Ichiru anywhere?" Kotomi asked, as she searched the battleground, probably in hopes of finding her missing brother.

Kiseki’s negative response was quick and to the point. In these situations, however, a single word say so much.

"Go look for him. I'll stay here with Ms. Smith and Nalani." He added causing the ash blonde’s eyes to dart in his direction. She wanted to say something, but quickly reversed her decision. The invading army would no doubt find this entrance and attempt to exploit it. It could get ugly; the grave realisation drove her heart to sink. However… Kotomi going alone into the fray…

She was gone, and Lani cursed herself for not thinking faster. However, it would be stupid to try and chase after her now.

Elegent streams of fire burst from Kiseki’s outstretched arms, keeping back the oncoming aggressors. She’d idled uselessly for long enough, it was time to help out. But… could she?

Closing her hazel eyes, Nalani quickly reached her hands outward, keeping them in place for a few moments. Then, the ash blonde slowly brought them back in front, and felt the tailwind she’d just summoned. It was a little weak, but this was deliberate, stronger would put strain on her friend. This way, his attacks would gain more distance, while placing a slight burden on any oncoming strikes.

Finally appearing at Kiseki’s side, Lani gave the battlefield a good glace, and was sickened by the sight. However, she tried to slide her growing fear to the side, firing a gust from her now extended arm. This wind blew one of the opposing mutants into a rogue beam of yellow light. She made sure to keep her blasts away from her Kiseki’s bursts of flame.

Ashley, Jeremy and Caroline
Alexander Regime
Telekinesis, Mind Compulsion/ Telekinesis, Mind Reading/ Water Manipulation
Enlightened School for Mutants

Vibrations were felt from the ground, making Ashley stand to her feet as she stood next to Ichiru. One of the walls that surrounded the school then exploded which made Ashley look at it in shock. An army of Mutants then began to fill the courtyard, confusing Ashley when she saw her uncle leading it.

“What’s going on?” Ashley asked herself as the very tree she was under caught on fire from a fire user, making her back away from it.

"Ichiru!" A girl yelled as Ashley turned around. A lightning bolt was coming at Ichiru fast, which for some reason made Ashley extend her hand to protect him with her Telekinesis, but Ichiru had everything under control.

“Ashley!” Ashley quickly looked up, seeing Jeremy and Caroline exiting the hole in the wall that was caused when Ashley’s and Jeremy’s uncle sent a student flying into it. Ashley glanced over to Ichiru for a brief moment, confused on why she attempted to save him for a few moments, and then ran over to Caroline and Jeremy. “What the hell is going on?” Jeremy asked.

“I have no idea.” Ashley said as she shook her head.

“Do we continue with the plan?” Caroline asked. Ashley looked over to her uncle, nodding her head.

“We stick with the plan. We’ll have to fight our own but don’t kill them.” Ashley said. “Spread out.” With that, the trio ran in three different directions, ‘protecting’ the school. Ashley found herself face to face with one of her male friends, Tommy, who has the ability to absorb the energy and matter of anything through his body at will and utilize it in various ways. This includes, but is not limited to, electricity (and possibly any energy within the electromagnetic spectrum), the powers, abilities, and memories of other life forms (via absorbing their metabolism, life force, and DNA), fire, water, plasma, and the mass and physical properties of solid matter. Since everything contains either energy or matter, there is no limit to what he can absorb.

Tommy can absorb electricity and use it activate, overload, and manipulate machinery on physical contact. He can even channel the energy through his hands to discharge it as a powerful energy blast, use it to enhance his strength or use it to increase his cellular regeneration, thus allowing him to recover from injuries at an accelerated rate. However, the energy will dissipate over time or though excessive use, so he is required to recharge. Tommy reached down and touched the pavement path on the ground, his whole body turning to stone.

“I promise I’ll go easy on you.” Tommy said as he closed his fists tightly.

“Oh please; I’m the one who’s gonna have to go easy.” Ashley smirked, making Tommy smirk as well. Tommy then charged forward, sprinting over to Ashley. Even though his body was made entirely out of stone right now, that didn’t slow him down at all. In one swift motion Ashley ducked down from Tommy’s punch, and then kicked the back of his legs to make him fall to the ground, though it hurt her in the process. “Don’t forget who always kicked your butt in training.”

“Don’t flatter yourself.” Tommy said as he reached up and pulled Ashley’s arm, sending her hard into the ground next to him. Tommy quickly got on top of Ashley and pinned her down by her arms above her head, giving her a charming smile. “This bringing back any memories?”

“What? The part where we dated or the part where I do this?” Ashley then summoned up her Telekinesis and sent Tommy flying off of her a few feet away. The two then swiftly stood up and stared at each other.

“Both.” The two then ran at each other, both fists brought back to punch each other. With a quick movement of her hand Ashley sent Tommy flying again, only this time he crashed into one of the walls that surrounded the school, creating another entry as his body flew right through it.

“Perfect.” Ashley said, pleased with herself that she made another entry for more Mutants to enter the courtyard. Ashley quickly ran over to the large hole and exited the grounds, hiding behind the remaining wall so no one from inside the courtyard would see her. “Alright, what’s going on?” Ashley asked Tommy as he sat up, rubbing his head.

“Your uncle arranged an attack to the school to see its defenses. We were ordered not to kill that many Mutants here, since this was pretty much a lesson for them to not stand in our way.” Tommy responded as he stood up, bringing Ashley to nod.

“That makes sense.” Ashley said as she looked at Tommy.

“So I was thinking… after when this is all over, do you want to maybe go back out?” Tommy asked.

“Are you kidding me? You cheated on me with that tramp Crystal. You’re lucky we’re still friends so don’t push your luck.” With that Ashley extended her hand and made Tommy fly back into the courtyard, though he didn’t have a soft landing at all; his head broke his fall. Ashley stepped back into the courtyard as Tommy stood up, giving her one last glance before running the other way to attack more Mutants.

“Well well well, if it isn’t little miss Ashley.” Ashley turned to the voice, sighing at she crossed her arms.

“Well speak of the devil.” Ashley said, looking at Crystal. She had curly light brown hair and piercing blue eyes, being only a year older then Ashley. The two girls then began to circle each other, like how two animals would before a fight.

“Having fun playing school girl?” Crystal asked in a sarcastic voice, though she had a devilish smile on her face.

“We need to fight and it needs to look real.” Ashley said; the two girls were always rivals, even before Ashley joined her uncle.

“Oh don’t worry, because I won’t be pretending.” With that, Crystal created a thick, long vine with sharp thorns covering it; she could control plants and create them. With the vine whip Crystal slashed it forward, scratching Ashley deeply in the stomach with it. The thorns tore the brunette’s shirt and sent blood to drip down her stomach, bleeding through her shirt.

“You’ll pay for that!” Ashley growled as she extended her hand to send Crystal flying into the burning tree, but Crystal quickly wrapped the whip around Ashley’s arm and pulled, creating deep gashes to run down Ashley’s arm.

“You see, with you out of the way, Tommy will choose me. He’s still not over you.” Crystal then whipped Ashley’s face, making her right cheek to bleed as a deep gash appeared.

“Enough!” Ashley yelled as Crystal yet again sent her whip on Ashley, but Ashley grabbed the whip despite the thorns that dug into her hand and pulled it, quickly pulling Crystal towards her as she punched her in the face with her free hand, sending Crystal to fall hard onto the ground. Ashley was about to kick Crystal in the face, but she quickly summoned tree roots from the ground and sent them to crash into Ashley, making her fall to the ground as Crystal quickly got up.

“Now my face is going to bruise up because of you!” Crystal yelled in rage as she stomped over to Ashley, who was standing to her feet. Crystal then reached up and put her hand on Ashley’s left cheek, smiling as Ashley’s eyes widened in fear; Ashley knew she was in trouble now. Crystal began to suck the life out of Ashley, black veins beginning to spread along Ashley’s face. The whites in Ashley’s eyes began to turn yellow as her skin began to turn pale.

“Let. Go.” Ashley ordered as she locked her eyes with Crystal; now Crystal was in trouble. Crystal suddenly let Ashley go, just standing there in a trance as she looked at Ashley; at this point Ashley didn’t care about who saw her using her compulsion. “Bring up your hand to your face and kill yourself. Send your poison to flow into your bloodstream and let it kill you.” Ashley ordered in a harsh voice. Crystal lifted up her hand and touched her own face, sending the poison into her own bloodstream from her fingertips. Her skin turned purple after a few moments as she collapsed, her dead body hitting the ground hard. When the compulsion was finished however, Ashley collapsed to ground herself as well as she felt dizzy. Whenever Ashley used her compulsion, or when Jeremy used his mind reading, it had side effects, so they try to not use it unless absolutely necessary.

“Ashley!” Jeremy yelled as him and Caroline came rushing to aid Ashley. The two looked to be cut up and bloodied as well from fighting, but Ashley looked a lot worse when it came to the gashes and blood loss due to Crystal’s whip with the thorns on it.

“I’m fine.” Ashley said as she shook off the dizziness, standing up with Jeremy and Caroline helping her. “The attack… it’s because Uncle Alex wants to test the defenses and boundaries of this school.” Ashley said as she looked at all the Mutants fighting. “We have to keep on fighting.” Ashley said. Staying as a team this time, the trio ran into the fight and worked together.

Jecht Remnant
Alexander Regime
Super Speed/Super Senses
Inside the Enlightened School for Mutants

Jecht was running down each hall systematically. First the lowest level, then the next, so on and so forth. He ran past each class room and took a quick look inside, knocking on each wall and listening to the vibrations. However, every wall was solid, and did not echo. No echo meant no fake walls, which in turn meant no super-secret awesome base. It was starting to look hopeless when suddenly the ground shook underneath him. He ran to the window and looked out at the east wall. Jecht smiled when he saw the wall explode and his mutant comrades burst inside.

He still had to find the entrance, but he searched the entire building, and nothing. Suddenly, he heard a dull roar. He turned to the source and saw the ground part and a man standing on a tube came out. Now, Jecht was no genius, but people don’t ride out of the ground on a magical platform every day. At least, nobody had that he could remember. *I’ve got nothing left to go on, he seems to be the best bet.* As he looked out, the man was surrounded by electricity. Jecht ran out the room, down the flights of stairs and into the court yard. He approached the man from behind, and got as close as he could without getting shocked. Jecht took in a deep breath, and remember his scent. He smelled science-y, like a professor in a laboratory.

Jecht spun around and ran out a fast as he did running in. His scent wasn’t strong outside, but inside it was. He followed it until he got to a classroom where 3 people were; one on the floor, and two using their powers on the courtyard. Stopping in the doorway, he took another deep breath. The girl on the floor smelled similar to the guy outside, but her hands were gnarly. He covered his nose, and said “Sorry, wrong room. I…” He saw a girl with pigtails using her powers, and she smelled lovely. “This is weird…” He muttered. He soon ran off, using both the man scent and the girl on the floors to follow a path.

He found himself in a library, a giant labyrinth of books that seemed endless to a normal eye. He searched here before, but nothing led him to any secret passages. This time, using the scents he acquired, he found himself at a bookcase labeled “History and Mythology.” He sniffed the books, and found one had been touched more often than the others. He pulled it, and the book fell out, and nothing happened. This had to be something, when he suddenly heard something ripping apart the air. He ducked, and a blast of some sort hit the bookcase. “What are you doing here?!” A large man was asking. “You must be the guard for this book case huh? Or just a big idiot trying to read gud?” The man had an annoyed look on his face now, and punched the air again which seemed to fire a concentrated blast of air his way. “Too slow.” Jecht side stepped it and stared at the man while he sent a text to Havi. “Need you inside the library, you can’t miss it chocolate swirl.”

Havisk “Havi” Viesus

Super Speed/Super Senses
Courtyard of the Enlightened School for Mutants

Havi followed everyone else after the wall was broken. Once inside, he released his power and the black markings started to cover his face, neck and arms. A guard aimed his rifle at him, and Havi raised his right arm and from the man’s own shadow 4 tentacles raised up. One wrapped around his neck, 2 around his arms and one on his waist. Havi closed his fist and the tentacles squeezed until the man fell unconscious.

Havi started to head out and took down every guard that stood in his way. Suddenly his phone rang and he read the text the Jecht sent. “Need you inside the library, you can’t miss it chocolate swirl.” Havi clenched his teeth. If Jecht didn’t die in this fight, he would personally kill Jecht himself. But for now he needed him. Havi ran toward the building where two people were using their powers, one fire and one wind, to block the entrance. He needed to get inside, and he couldn’t move much to the left or right, where the entrance to the building was because of all the fighting. Havi ran, letting the other attackers take care of the students, until he got into the giant shadow of the school.

He had to run past the two performing their entrance blocking and another girl doing the same thing further away, but made it with minimal damage. He jumped into the shadow and slammed his hand on it. Havi started to raise a second identical shadow a couple feet above the ground, with both of his hand stretched out. He moved his hands around as the shadow was morphed into a shape he liked and ended as a giant replica of his fist. He punched the air, causing the shadow fist to physically hit the wall a couple rooms down from the original hole in the building. After his shadow served its purpose, he brought it closer to his body and had it cover his right arm. He was still far away from the hole, and started to run for it, hoping to help Jecht out.

Keiru Kabari (Justice)/ Alexander "Blade" Maverick
X-Force/Alexander Regime
Electricity/Manipulation of Metal
Defending Enlightened School for Mutants/Attacking Enlightened School for Mutants

The school had erupted in total chaos, the students vastly outnumbered by the tidal wave that was Alexander's forces. Keiru watched in despair as three students were incapacitated by vines, before being set on fire by a pyrokinetic, and then released from the vines, the students dropping to the floor, not moving to Keiru's knowledge. At the sight of this, something within Keiru snapped, and he let out a roar of rage, raising his arms into the air. Electricity exploded from his hands, swirling above him, before slamming his arms down, unleashing a whirlwind of electric energy. The electric "twister" surged towards a bulk of Alexander's forces, and sucked them up into the whirling electricity, which intensified in power, before exploding, sending the mutants it had sucked up across the courtyard.

The ground where the Ionic vortex(to give it its true name) was scorched bare, and the mutants it had consumed did not move at all, either unconscious or dead. Keiru's eyes were a dark red in colour, electricity surging across his sockets. His body was covered in electricity, his rage fueling his power. He was enraged that his students were being harmed by this foul attack, and he could not stand idly by and let them be harmed anymore. Keiru's powers were powerful under normal standards, but anger increased his power quite a bit.

Alexander saw the power unleashed, and knew he had to take out the origin of the power, his eyes locking on a man who was enveloped in electricity, and smiled. This was too easy. Alexander looked to his right, where a large sharp piece of metal lay, having been dislodged when the wall exploded, and used his power to lift the metal pole into the air, and flung it in Keiru's direction. Keiru was preoccupied with unleashing balls of electricity upon the attackers, that he didn't see the pole until it was too late. The pole pierced Keiru's lower left chest, pain exploding through his body, though the pole missed any vital organs. The electricity died down, as Keiru fell onto his knees. He spotted Alexander, who was smirking, and raised his arm, firing a ball of electricity at Alexander, who merely swatted the feeble ball away.

Alexander saw another pole, and decided to go for the killing blow, raising the second pole, and looked at Keiru, laughing, before sending the pole flying towards Keiru, who was immobilised due to the pole already in him. Alexander knew the man he had just immobilised, and soon to of killed, was not a student at the school, rather he was a teacher, but he was more than that. By the power he controlled, Alexander had to believe that this man was a member of the X-Force, possibly even the leader.

Outside Enlightened School for Mutants

Kiseki felt a gentle wind come from behind him, which helped the flames he was sending out gain much more distance than before. Shortly after, he saw Nalani at his side, her arm extended toward the battlefield. He gave her a smile as flames continued to dance around his outstretched hands, sending streams or balls of fire - whichever suited the attack in mind - toward the enemies at will. As he looked back at the battlefield, he couldn’t help but feel at least a small amount of fear. He hated fighting as it was, and something like this, where so many were being injured or even killed, wasn’t exactly what he wanted to see or be involved in.

The dark haired teen suddenly became aware of a loud crackling in the air, looking quickly to where Keiru stood a few feet away, a red and black electric “twister” surging from where he stood toward Alexander’s forces, taking out several of them at a time as it sucked them into itself. This seemed to intensify its power, although shortly after it exploded, sending the mutants across the courtyard in all directions. Kiseki was so shocked at the sight that for a moment, the flames dancing around his hands began to die out. Even from his position, he could see that the older male’s eyes were red, and electricity was surging and sparking around his body.

Realizing that he’d ceased his attacks, Kiseki quickly summoned the flames back to his hands, sending a blast of fire in the direction of one of Alexander’s mutants who was approaching, sending him flying toward Keiru, where he was hit by one of the balls of electricity the older male was currently shooting at his enemies. Kiseki looked back over in Keiru’s direction just in time to see a metal pole pierce the lower left side of his chest, bringing him to fall to his knees as his electricity slowly died down.

“Mr. Smith!” Kiseki's fire died away again as he turned in the direction of his teacher who shot a ball of electricity toward Alexander a few feet away, although he swatted it away with ease, , a smirk set in his expression. As he picked up another pole and started to throw it toward the immobilized man, the dark haired teen scowled, taking off in the direction of the two before even he knew what he was doing. As he ran, the flames around his hands completely faded, but he didn’t care about that right now.

He passed Kotomi, who stopped in her tracks to whirl around and look at her brother. She’d seen the electric twister before, and had come back in the direction of it to see if everything was okay, although she’d completely missed what had happened to Keiru. However, when she saw him on his knees, immobilized from the metal pole that had already pierced him, as well as Kiseki, who was running in that direction while Alexander threw another pole, she realized instantly what was going on.

“Kiseki, no!” She yelled to her brother, starting in the direction of Keiru and the younger twin, although he didn’t seem to hear her, or ignored her if he did.

Kiseki darted in front of Keiru, extending his arms to produce a force field just before the pole struck. However, he hadn’t had enough time to strengthen the power of the force field before he’d brought it up, having been in such a panicked hurry, and the pole went through it anyway, although the collision with the invisible ‘wall’ seemed to slow it down exceptionally. It shattered the invisible force in front of the teen, proceeding to pierce him just above his stomach, thankfully missing the nearby vital organs, if not just by inches. He knew this would have most likely been Keiru’s chest, had he not blocked it.

Pain shot up his spine, exploding around his midsection as he dropped to his knees, giving a gasp of pain. Had he not used a force field to slow it down, the pole probably would have run him through completely, but this way it hadn’t gone all the way through, although the wound was still deep.

“Kiseki!” Kotomi’s voice met his ears faintly as he gripped the pole, debating on whether or not to try and pull it out just yet. The dark haired girl was at his side in seconds. She looked to Keiru, worry setting into her expression. Kiseki coughed up a mouthful of blood, looking up at Alexander with a glare. Kotomi followed his gaze, her eyes narrowing as well as her fiery aura began to return, eyes burning white. “You b*stard! You’ll pay for this!”

The younger teen’s yell greeted Ichiru all the way across the battlefield, bringing him to look up sharply in the direction of the voice. He’d seen the electric vortex as well, and knew from the color of the electricity that it was Keiru’s. However, with his current distance, he had no idea that Alexander had stabbed Keiru nor Kiseki. Currently he struggled with another male mutant, who managed to pin him down, flames encasing his hands much like Kiseki’s normally did. The fire burned the dark haired teen’s skin as he struggled with him at first, finally summoning his telekinesis and throwing him a few feet away. Up ahead, he could see Ashley fighting with a girl, although the last time he’d looked her way she’d been fighting with another guy. Currently she was trapped by the girl’s powers, which brought Ichiru to instinctively start that way to help her, although he stopped when he saw what unfolded next.

“Let. Go.” He faintly heard Ashley say as he was forced to attack a nearby mutant who came at him with electricity crackling around his body. From the corner of his eye, he could see the girl simply stand there in a trance, like she was waiting for a command.

“Bring up your hand to your face and kill yourself. Send your poison to flow into your bloodstream and let it kill you.” Ashley’s voice came again, harsh and cold in its order. Ichiru threw his attacker off of him, glancing over to see that the girl actually obeyed the command, bringing her hand to her face and sending poison into her own bloodstream. Her skin became purple, and after a few more moments she collapsed, her now lifeless body hitting the ground with a soft thud. Ichiru was shocked at first, wondering how Ashley had been able to make her do such a thing, but he already knew it had to be a power. He’d honestly never heard of the ability to bend people’s wills to your own.

The pyrokinetic that had attacked earlier came back toward the dark haired teen, sending a stream of fire his way. Ichiru turned quickly, focusing on the flames with his telekinesis, and sending them back toward their user. He allowed the flames to engulf the other male, holding them there long enough to torch his skin a little before he released his grip, bringing them to dissipate into the air. The other male collapsed to the ground, although Ichiru already knew he wasn’t dead.

“Ashley!” He turned to see Ashley had collapsed on the ground, and a boy that looked as though he could be her twin, as well as another girl with curly blonde hair, had approached her, both of them looking to be pretty battered down from fighting as well. Since he didn’t recognize them, he knew that they had to be the other two new students. However, now really wasn’t the time for introductions.

He didn’t hear Ashley’s response, for another mutant attacked him from behind, sending the two of them crashing to the ground. He growled in annoyance, throwing the mutant off of him and getting back to his feet quickly. His vectors lashed out, sending his enemy flying into the flaming tree behind them, where he crashed to the ground motionlessly shortly after.

“You should go rest.” He said to Ashley as glanced back at the fallen mutant at the base of the tree. “If you keep pushing yourself, you’ll faint.”

OoC: Slightly rushed and suckish... let me know if I should change anything.

“You should go rest.” As Ashley was fighting with a Mutant, Ichiru’s voice made her turn her attention as he was fending off one as well. “If you keep pushing yourself, you’ll faint.”

“I’ll be fine.” Ashley offered him a reassuring smile as she finished off the Mutant she was fighting with. Ashley’s gaze happened to look over to her uncle, where it looked like two males were stabbed with metal poles, though Ashley didn’t see who the two males were. Jeremy and Caroline followed Ashley’s gaze, all three of them shocked at what they were seeing.

“Follow me.” Jeremy said as he began running towards the scene, prompting Ashley and Caroline to follow. The two girls began sprinting in the direction Jeremy was going, but a Mutant stood in Ashley’s way, making her scowl.

“Just go Caroline!” Ashley yelled as Caroline nodded, following Jeremy over to where the two injured males were. When the two got to the scene they saw that one male had a pole in the left side of his chest while the other male had a pole in his stomach.

“Oh my God!” Caroline gasped in shock. She quickly knelt down next to the two males while hovering both of her hands over their hearts. “Jeremy, cover me!” Caroline shouted, which Jeremy nodded as he dealt with any threats that tried to make their way towards Caroline. “Everything’s going to be okay. I’m going to circulate your bodily fluids and keep as much blood into you guys as possible until we can get you to a hospital.” The curly blonde said as she looked from both Keiru and Kiseki. Even though Caroline, Jeremy and Ashley were on the bad side, they needed to keep up the act of being students to the school, which meant they had to help them as much as they could.

Back over to where Ashley was, she found herself face to face with a Mutant who had super strength; great… He charged at Ashley with his fist pulled back, readying to punch Ashley. With a swift movement of her hand however, Ashley sent the Mutant flying into a tree that wasn’t burning. Ashley’s attention fell to Ichiru then, or rather, who was behind Ichiru. The same Mutant who Ichiru had burned only moments before began to stand to his feet, preparing a fireball and planned to strike while Ichiru’s back was turned. Without thinking, Ashley sprinted over to Ichiru as fast as she could, adrenaline fully taking over.

“Ichiru behind you!” Ashley shouted as the fire user threw the large fireball. Ashley quickly tackled Ichiru to the ground, rolling a few times on the grass from the impact as her arms remained wrapped around him. After finding herself on top of Ichiru, Ashley quickly looked up, seeing a huge wall of fire coming their way. Ashley turned back around to look at Ichiru, and after quickly getting up on only her knees, Ashley created a force field with her Telekinesis that protected her back. The fire rushed on both sides of the shield, just barely missing Ichiru’s body, but Ashley made sure none of the fire touched him. The Mutant continued to shoot a beam of endless fire, making Ashley wince as her shield began to slowly shatter away. The force of the fire was beginning to be too much for Ashley as she fell on top of Ichiru, though she concentrated as hard as she could to make sure none of the fire could touch Ichiru or herself.

“Burn!” The Mutant yelled, though Ashley didn’t hear him. Ashley tightly closed her eyes, feeling the heat begin to burn her legs. Ashley opened her eyes and found herself looking down at Ichiru’s piercing, emerald green eyes. After staring down at them for a few long moments she somehow found strength to get back up on only her knees again, her force field becoming stronger. The young brunette then unleashed a burst of energy that she didn’t know she possessed, sending the fire back to its user as her force field knocked him hard on the ground. After quickly stand up Ashley extended her hand, making the Mutant fly high up in the air, then brought her hand quickly back down and made him crash onto the dirt; he died instantly on impact. Ashley took a deep breath and looked at Ichiru, giving him a smile.

“Looks like you owe me.” Ashley said before running off to where she saw Tommy. “Hey Tommy!” Ashley yelled as she jumped up on a picnic table and then jumped off it, getting herself a good amount of air before kicking Tommy hard in the face. The impact sent Tommy flying into a small seven foot pond. Ashley landed on her feet with grace, looking down at the pond. Tommy’s hand then suddenly reached up out of the water and grabbed Ashley’s ankle, dragging her into the pond as he held her down underwater with him. Pain from the water hitting all of Ashley’s deep cuts from Crystal’s vine caused Ashley to scream out in pain underwater, which made Tommy quickly release Ashley after realizing she was in horrible pain. Ashley swam to the surface and quickly got out, holding her left arm where the deep gashes were.

“What happened to you?” Tommy asked as he quickly got out of the water.

“Crystal. She tried to actually kill me, but I killed her first.” Ashley responded.

“You actually killed her?” Tommy asked in shock, making Ashley scowl.

“Of course I did! It was either me or her! I’m so sorry that I killed your little tramp!” Ashley then side kicked Tommy in the hip, but since he was made out of stone right now she only hurt herself; again.

“Listen to me Ashley! I don’t care if you killed her! If it came down to either you or Crystal living then I would choose Crystal to be killed!”

“Let’s just fight.” Ashley said as she charged for Tommy, but then something horrible happened. Ashley’s vision began to blur as her body fell limp, though Tommy caught her just in time.

“Ashley? Ashley!” Tommy shook Ashley’s body but her eyes remained closed. After realizing that Ashley had lost too much blood he quickly stood to his feet and ran inside the school, not caring who saw him. Blood dripped down from Ashley’s arm, stomach and cheek, creating a trail of blood to follow them wherever they went. After changing back into a normal person with skin, Tommy rushed down the hallway with an unconscious Ashley in his arms, trying desperately to find a medical room. After making a few turns with the heavy trail of blood still coming from Ashley, Tommy found the empty medical room and quickly laid Ashley down on an examination table.

“Tommy…” Ashley said in a weak voice, pointing over to a glass cabinet that had blood pouches in it. “Blood type O…” Ashley then fainted, causing Tommy to quickly run over to the cabinets and grab the right blood pouch he needed. After putting a needle through the top of Ashley’s left hand he hooked up the blood pouch to her, giving her the blood that she needed. With another needle Tommy put it through the top of her other hand, this time giving her an IV.

“I’m going to stitch you right up.” Tommy quickly said as he patched up Ashley’s stomach and cheek with gauze. He then threaded a sewing needle and began to stitch up her arm, since the main vein in her left arm was deeply cut vertically. Even though he was stitching up Ashley’s arm, Tommy remained alert and would charge at anyone who tried to attack Ashley or himself.

Nalani Hyland (Fogbound)
X-Force
Wind, Cloud manipulation
Just ouside the Enlightened School for Mutants; Countryside near New York

“Mr. Smith!” Kiseki’s piercing voice startled Nalani, who had taken her eyes off the teacher in order to search for more oncoming foes. She quickly turned her head towards her friend, and quickly followed his gaze, leading her to Alexander himself. The distance between them didn’t mask the cock smirk pasted on his face, a sharp metallic beam hovering close by. It didn’t take much skill at deduction that he intended to fire it… at Keiru. She’d missed the previous assault, but it was obvious to her what had happened. Things would only spiral down from here…

“KISEKI!” Lani could not contain herself, not when she noticed the dark-haired teenager darting toward the President. The flurry of flames emitting from his hands ceased to burn, he was completely vulnerable, although it didn’t seem to deter him. Now, it was obvious to the blonde what he intended to do, and she couldn’t let him succeed. No, there had to be another way…

Sitting here wasn’t going to do anything though. Telepathy was far beyond her capability, she had to go after him, and pray catching up wasn’t impossible. Without further thought, Nalani raced into the brawl, her tailwind providing a slight boost in speed. However, he was already far ahead and time was running out.

At that moment, something heavy rammed into her left side, ramming the ash blonde down hard. Her right side dragged against the soil for a few moments, before finally running out of propulsion and coming to a slow halt. A little dazed, Nalani attempted to pick herself up, but was interrupted by the sound of laughing. She turned her head in the direction it came from, and was met with the sight of a young man. He was tall with light hair and sported a singed green uniform. It was obvious this character was not an ally.

“Dude, you totally wiped out!” His words, however, seemed light hearted and out of place among all the sounds of the brawl. Nalani, however, kept her guard up as she finally regained her footing, and was a little surprised when he didn’t attack. She stood still for a few seconds, and when nothing happened, started to back away. This finally earned a response from the other mutant, who leapt into the air, and managed to cover the entire distance between them, landing mere meters in front of her face. “Sorry to burst your bubble dude, but the party’s only just beginning,” this time, he toke a darker, more serious tone. It was obvious this wasn’t ending without a fight, much to Nalani’s chagrin.

“Let’s go!” he shouted, jumping up again, but instead of propelling himself forward, unleashed a barrage of glowing white orbs. They quickly raced downward, however, with the snap of her fingers, the blonde managed to whip up a gust, which intercepted the spheres. Instead of redirecting them, this move actually caused them to explode mid air. Flashes of bright light forced the girl to instinctively shield her eyes, leaving her wide open.
This vulnerability, her opponent was fully intending to exploit. He dropped behind her, and although she heard him, wasn’t fast enough to react. A beam of fierce light struck her stomach, but despite its strength, didn’t manage to knock her down. Instead, it caused sidestep a little and tears started to well in her eyes, although she managed to keep them at bay. However, this did nothing to help, as another blast was fired, this time, smacking her on the back. This push forced the blonde to her knees, again, leaving her open.

Not wasting a minute, the man clenched his fists, which swiftly became charged with stunning wisps of bright light. Anticipating the next move, Lani tried to pull herself up, but was too slow. Smirking, he jumped back; firing both charges of black energy. These two laser-like beams effortlessly met their mark, slashing both her left shoulder and right hip. Unlike the other blasts, which felt more like punches, these gave the illusion of hot knives had just pierced through her skin. She cried out in pain, but didn’t meet the ground this time. This, however, didn’t seem to impress her foe much.

“Dude, you’re even weaker then you look, and that’s saying something. I mean, what do they teach you here anyway? How to lose in four minutes or less? Well, I’ll make sure you ace that one!” he taunted, racing to the left, firing a new volley of those bright orbs, these much larger in size. Nalani, however, with the extension of her arms, whipped up another wind. This time however, instead of trying to blow them away, purposefully knocked them down, forcing a detonation. Once the anticipated smoke began to rise, Lani continued with her plan, summoning a little fog into the mix, further reducing visibility. Fighting her anxiety, the girl backed up in the opposite direction, the sound of his footsteps growing louder. This would probably be her best and last chance at gaining the upper hand, failure was not an option.

“Now, where is she?” He asked, obviously not believing this fight was already over. “That kill couldn’t be that easy…”

Indeed, he was right. At that moment, Nalani summoned her tailwind, this one far stronger then the last. Once the hazy substances had blown away and the foe was in sight, the girl made two violent slashing motions and these formed her least favourite move of all, the Aero Razor. Taking the form of air swords, this attack was simply super concentrated wind, and was nothing to take lightly. Slashing through his sides, they both faded, leaving nothing but pain behind.

They cut deeper then intended, and the blood toke no time in spewing from the two gashes made. He turned around, meeting Lani’s gaze before leaping upward then forward, his hands glowing an eerie grey. However, this time, he was wide open. The ash blonde simply redirected her tailwind, slowing him down. Taking this opportunity, she slowly moved her right arm, creating another gust, knocking Alexander’s mutant down from the sky.

“G-good one d-dude,” he simply stated, before falling into unconsciousness. The girl felt a little better once she noticed him twitch, and decided to leave him be. There was no way this man could be of any threat, and besides, she needed to find Kiseki. She could only pray he’d been interrupted…

It didn’t take her long to find her friend, despite the chaos of the fighting. From the distance she was, it was hard to see details, but the situation was obvious…

Asukira Vollua (Reaper)
Alexander Regime
Energy/Sorcery
Attacking Enlightened School for Mutants

Silence was his best friend. It allowed him to think on the previous actions and assess whether or not he should perform said actions again. He had just robbed another bank, vanishing before the police could get there and clearing their memory with a spell he had learned. It was an adventurous day, a day filled with wonderfully disastrous events. First he had blown up a restaurant that had served him raw steak. He had told them well done but apparently they'd misunderstood. Well good luck with building a new restaurant. The next thing that happened was quite sadistic to say the least. He had ran into a human who had approached him after the explosion, questioning his presence. Asukira didn't like his kind, nor did he like the tone of voice the man was using. With a swipe of his hand, the man was blasted with a destructive type of magic, magic that wore away at the soul of its victims and would eventually kill the man.

A smirk on his face, he ventured further into New York, until he found the place where he could get some peace and quiet. The darkness of the abandoned factory gave him much needed isolation from humans and mutants alike. He began to meditate, everything around him vanishing until there was nothing. Meditating calmed his nerves and allowed him to see past his physical eyes. It was in this state that his senses were on high alert and he could see past his normal limitations. As he sat there on the factory floor, meditative state was interrupted by the exploding of a tank and airplane. His eyes flung open as he looked around the factory.

"Alexander," he said softly as he stood to his feet and strode out of the factory, vanishing. Moments later, he appeared at the scene of the destruction Alexander had caused. It was a marvelous feat for that man to be able to manipulate metal with just a thought. A smile crossed Asukira's lips as he closed his eyes and locked in on Alexander's presence, following the energy he gave off. In an instant he knew where he was.

"A school, but why would he........ahh I see," Asukira stated, remembering what Alexander had told him the day before. He'd be attacking the school for mutants to test their defenses. It was something that Asukira didn't know how to feel about, but he was part of the Regime and would do his job. He vanished again, this time appearing amongst the battling and use of abilities. Just as he arrived, a mutant launched a ball of ice directly at him. Asukira sighed and knocked it away with a wave of his hand.

"Typical, these students know nothing, but Alexander must feel that this is the base for the X-Force. Where is he?" Asukira asked himself as he began to wander through the school looking for the man he served willingly. It was then that he came across children. One seemed to be hurt and the other attempting to fix her up. It amazed Asukira that this female resembled Alexander's niece.

"Well well, what do we have here? A band of teenage heroes? Alas I suppose I have to do my job regardless." Asukira allowed energy to wrap around his hands as he stood there before the children, a magic barrier wrapped around him, preventing him from being the victim of telekinetic abilities. A smirk crossed his face, he often hated fighting those who were, how could he put it? below him, but if Alexander was attacking this school, these students must be put out of commission if only for a short period.

Orbs of energy began to form around Asukira, a mischievous smirk on his face as he thrust his hand forward, one of the orbs shooting forward, hitting the ground next to the children, causing a dangerous explosion. He shot another one at a few students who were running. When the orb struck them, they were knocked unconscious. Another orb shot forth striking the school building, destroying part of it, sending shrapnel in every direction.

"I've not had this much fun in quite a while," he said sending another orb to crash into the school, causing another explosion. He simply smirked and continued his onslaught.

Thumbs up Re: X-Force: America's Dawn(RP)

Jecht Remnant & Havisk “Havi” Viesus
Alexander Regime
Super Speed/Super Senses
Inside the Enlightened School for Mutants then the Courtyard

Havi ran inside the school and looked around the hallway. He could see Jecht through some windows a couple doors down, running back and forth while a larger man was slowly chasing him. He ran inside the library which looked like it had been turned upside down on the west side because of, presumably, the stranger’s power. Jecht was running back and forth, while the large fellow was repeatedly throwing his arms at him. Jecht noticed Havi on the other side of the room and dashed next to him. “Havi, meet Matt. Matt, meet Havi.” Havi looked up as Matt trotted over. He was breathing heavily, and looked like he was getting ready to fall over. “I can’t let you guys…Get away…” He raised his hands up and put them together. Opening his hands created a vacuum between them. Jecht ran behind Havi, and Havi threw his right hand, still covered in the shadow of the School, at the wall behind them. Part of the shadow leapt off his arm and pierced the wall and then proceeded to wrap around it, holding Havi and Jecht in place.

Jecht was yelling at this point because of the force of Matt’s new attack, “He is using some kind of wind power, but I think I found the entrance so we have to take care of him. But if he lives, he’ll tell them we know where it is.” Havi nodded and threw up his left hand. With his palm up, he curled his fingers and stared at Matt’s shadow. Tentacles came out of his shadow, much like the guards shadow’s had done the same thing, and they wrapped around Matt. He had one around his neck, one on each arm and one on each leg. They were pulling him down, into his own shadow. Matt panicked as he slowly fell, and stopped the vacuum. Blasting the ground with his right hand did not help slow his descent while his left grabbed onto a table. While watching Matt squirm, Jecht slowly walked over and sat on the same table he was desperately hanging on to. “Give it up chubs, you’re not gonna make it.” Matt was thoroughly pissed at this point and went to blast Jecht away, only to let go of the table and fall completely into his shadow.

Havi walked over now and crouched down, touching the shadow with his left hand. Just like the schools shadow, it crawled up his arm; this time however, it left no copy. “You’re lucky the library is so close, I’m almost out of range of my power.” Havi explained to Jecht. “Quit your whining, Oreo. Now help me out.” His everlasting smile mad Havi angrier at Jecht more so than the comment did. They traveled to the wall, same wall where Jecht met Matt, and Jecht inspected it once again. Jecht could see a slight worn down line that was almost under the bookcase and tapping on the wall. This had to be entrance into the base. Jecht motioned to go outside, and Havi nodded, wanting to leave here as soon as possible. Matt was strong, and he didn’t know how long he could keep him in the shadow.

Both Jecht and Havi ran outside now that thier part of the mission was complete. Jecht listened for Alexander, and when he heard his voice they headed in his direction. As they ran past, one of their comrades was fighting a girl who looked to have some sort of air power, like Matt who was no residing in Havi’s left arm. They could see Alexander up ahead, but there were also a couple of the school’s students in front of him. They circled around and stood on both sides of Alex, Jecht on the left and Havi on the right. Jecht stood close to Alexander and whispered “I believe I know where the base is, but I couldn’t access it for some reason. I think we might need a code or something. However, we do have someone who should know.” Jecht pointed at Havi, who held up his left arm and motioned that he caught someone. Havi then looked forward at the 5 students in front of him; two guys on the ground with metal poles in them, one girl suspended her hands above them who looked to be Caroline, another guy protecting her that looked like Jeremy and the fifth one looked as if she was going to murder Alexander. Havi and Jecht simultaneously smiled at the situation.

Damien "Huntsman" Stanislaus & Alan "Totem" Rhane
X-Force
Super Senses, Shape Shifting
Enlightened School for Mutants Courtyard

Damien had been one of the first to join the fight against Alexsander´s forces, he had been firing a small targets from an ATV, all had been perfect bullseyes, now, both his hunting rifle and ATV had been tossed away and he was raining shafts of death down with his bow. He saw Alexander standing over Justice, the X-Force leader and almost began firing at the evil man, but so many people had joined in that fight, he had no idea if he would hit a comrade or not, so he decided to signal Alan. Alan had been in his bison form, a powerful juggernaut of rippling muscle, smashing away at the invading forces with terrifying rage. He had ripped up a good sized tree and was now laying low almost ten mutants with every blow. Damien pulled out a reed whistle and blew a piercing note. Alan left his fight to charge towards Damien´s side.

"What´s wrong?" he asked, his voice gruffer and deeper in his bison form.

"That son of a viper, Alexander is about to kill Keiru, we need some muscle down there!" Damien shouted over the sounds of the battle. He was about to tell Alan to be careful, but the man had already left, cutting a path through the opposing mutants with powerful blows of his makeshift cudgel. Damien turned back to the battle as a mutant leapt over the allied forces and landed in front of him, the mutant raised a clawed hand a brought it down swiftly, but Damien's machete was faster and the mutants arm fell to the ground, his head soon followed suit.

"Not fast enough" Damien said, exhausted. He had just enough time to look up at the boulder sent flying at his head, hurled by a herculean mutant with super strength who charged after Damien after seeing him nimbly dodge the boulder. Damien grimly drew two machetes and faced his massive opponent. One blow from the mutants fist would probably kill him, so he had to be careful. He dodged the first few punches before rolling under the man and stabbing upward into the behemoth´s thigh. The strongman bellowed in pain and anger. as he collapsed to his knees. Damien then dodged around the flailing arms of the wounded giant in order to send his razor sharp blade into the giants sides, finally scaling the man´s back and plunging his second machete deep into the mutants spine at the base of his skull, severing his brain and killing the man. He pulled his two machetes out and returned to the battle.

I wish I had my shotgun Damien thought as he disarmed a mutants with one fluid movement. He had left most of his guns in the X-Force headquarters, under the school, and it was way to late to go retrieve them. His falcon dived and gouged out the eyes of a mutant about to use a telekinetic strangle on him and Damien shoved his shoe knife into the mutant's chest with a powerful kick.

Alan "Totem" Rhane
Shape-Shifting
Near the battle between Alexander and Keiru

Alan charged Alexsander, with the fury and power of the bull bison which he was currently in the form of. He could only think of ending the evil man's reign, here and now. He saw both Keiru and a student with long pieces of metal jabbed deep into their torsos, and this simply fueled Alan's rage even more, how dare Alexander attack this sacred place. He charged in behind Alexander and hefted the tree he had been using as a mace.

"For all those whom you have made to suffer under your vile reign, and for the glory of God, our creator, I wil end you here and now!!!" He roared and swung down with all his might.

OOC: I forgot about the original Xavier institute being destroyed, thanks for the reminder. By the way, how do ya like my first post, be sure to tell me if I missed any important details.

Amy Kabari "Vengeance"/Keiru Kabari "Justice"/Alexander "Blade" Maverick
X-Force/X-Force/Alexander Regime
Induced Radioactivity/Electricity/Manipulation of Metal
Enlightened School for Mutants

Amy hated herself for being a coward. She was afraid of her powers, and thus refused to help due to the fear. People were dying out there and all she could do was cower in the building. Explosions riddled the building, debris scattering across hallways.

"Mr. Smith!" a male voice split the air, causing Amy to look up, her eyes widening at the sight of her brother, his body pierced by a pole.

It was then that she saw Kiseki get between Keiru and Alexander, and was pierced by the second pole which had been heading for Keiru. Rage exploded within Amy. Her brother. The students. Kiseki. Enough was enough.

Amy tore the gloves off of her hands, as rage engulfed her. Within moments she could feel the heat originating from her hands, and it felt welcoming. She arrived on the courtyard, walking with a purpose towards Alexander. A mutant charged towards her, and she placed her hand on the mutant's face, a cry of pain exploding from the mutant, as he fell to the floor. Amy didn't even break her focus upon Alexander as she unleashed a blast of radiation that sent a handful of Alexander's mutants crashing to the floor.

Keiru was surprised to see Amy, especially using her powers in such a manner, but he was relieved that she was there. Alexander sensed the attack coming before it arrived, and levitated in the air, narrowly avoiding the attack, and he stayed in the air, out of reach of the mutant.

Amy's hands were enveloped in a bright light, and she growled as she looked up at Alexander, whose attention was upon her, and he was amazed at her power. She snarled as she unleashed a blast of radiation towards Alexander, who summoned scraps of metal into the air in front of him, barely stopping the blast of radiation, which melted the metal, turning it into molten scrap.

The students were being pushed back, and most of them were either on the floor injured, or fleeing back within the school. Amy looked around, noting that most of Alexander's forces were in front of her, and her allies were behind her, and nodded to herself. She raised both her palms into the air, and unleashed two beams of radiation which burst forward like a nuclear explosion, cutting through Alexander's horde, sending mutants flying backwards from the sheer power of the beams. Most of Alexander's force was incapacitated by the attack, as Amy fell onto one knee, tired out by the exersion of power from her attacks.

Alexander smirked, and began to levitate away, laughing.

"Let's go!" Alexander shouted, commanding his mutants into what appeared to be a retreat.

Amy collapsed to the floor, burying her hands into her shirt so as to not harm any of her allies or friends, and remained where she was. Two mutants came over to Keiru and Kiseki, and knelt down next to them, carefully pulling out the poles, and began their work on sealing the wounds, though the two would still be injured and feel the pain of the wounds for some time. They would also have to remain in the base's medical center for several hours as they recuperated. The school was heavily damaged due to the attack, flames shredded the courtyard, and bodies from both sides littered the ground.

Asukira Vollua (Reaper)
Alexander Regime
Energy/Sorcery
Destroying Enlightened School for Mutants; Leaving ESM with Alexander

Destruction settled in his wake as he moved throughout the school. Every room he came across was destroyed. The library, the gym, classroom, all destroyed by him. He met opposition but took them out of commission by absorbing their energy. These students had delicious energy, energy that made Asukira very happy. A smirk on his face he continued further into the school, destroying dormitories and bathrooms. He'd leave nothing for them, nothing for these little rats. He hadn't yet found Alexander and was getting rather annoyed, but he continued fighting his way, destroying over half the school. There was a blast that radiated throughout the area. It was radiation, of which Asukira absorbed into a magical sphere that he had summoned. It glowed brightly and vanished before another wave of energy was unleashed. Whoever was unleashing such energy would be down before they knew it. He placed a barrier around him and watched as the power flooded around him before subsiding. He sighed and was about to resume his destruction when he heard the voice of Alexander informing them that it was time to go. A inhuman growl escaped his throat. He was having fun, and here he came summoning him to leave. He launched one last destructive orb of energy into another classroom and watched as the room exploded, scattering debris in every direction.

"Damn him intruding on my fun," Asukira stated as he closed his eyes and vanished. He appeared right beside Amy and looked down at her with much disgust. He walked off, spitting in her direction before joining Alexander and the rest. Apparently they had gotten or achieved what they had set out to do, but Asukira was not happy. When he approached Alexander, a scowl was on his face.

"Why did you stop my fun?" Asukira asked as he walked at a steady speed beside the leader of this Regime. One could tell that Asukira was pissed off, but he wasn't one of which to approach with little respect, else you'd find yourself with no energy and little life force, if any.

Ichiru (Shadow), Kiseki (Firestorm) & Kotomi (Fury) Kagami
X-Force
Telekinesis/Vectors, Pyrokinesis/Force Fields, Phoenix Fire/Pyrokinesis/Flight
Outside Enlightened School For Mutants; Inside ESM

“I’ll be fine.” Ashley offered him a reassuring smile while she finished off another Mutant, but Ichiru scowled in response. Somehow he knew something would happen if she kept pushing herself. He noticed her gaze stop on something for a few minutes then, as well as the expression on her face. When he followed her, Jeremy’s and Caroline’s gazes, he instantly saw two males across the field, each with a pole protruding from their bodies; one from his chest and the other from his stomach. The dark haired teen was obviously shocked from the sight, although this shocked deepened into horror when he recognized the male in front. He didn’t even notice Jeremy and Caroline run over to the scene, or even the mutant that Ashley threw into one of the trees that wasn’t burning.

“Ichiru behind you!” Ichiru just had started to run toward the scene when Ashley suddenly shouted to him. However, before he could even turn to look either behind him or toward Ashley herself, he was on the ground. The two rolled a few times on the ground before coming to a stop, where Ichiru opened his eyes, which had instinctively shut upon impact with the ground, to see Ashley on top of him. Slightly dazed, he followed her gaze which happened to be elsewhere, spotting a huge wall of fire headed in their direction.

He started to move, but Ashley proved quicker than he, getting up onto her knees and creating a force field behind her, which blocked the fire from hitting either of them. It rushed by on both sides, narrowly missing both of their bodies. Ichiru managed to sit up on his elbows just before Ashley collapsed back on top of him, her shield starting to weaken. Under normal circumstances, the dark haired teen’s face would have been flushed by now, but he didn’t think much of it in this situation, instead stretching out a hand to try and add his own powers to Ashley’s as he felt the heat beginning to burn his legs. He found himself locking eyes with the brunette for a few long moments before she suddenly got back up on her knees, the force field growing stronger as a result. Ichiru sat up fully as she unleashed a burst of energy which sent the fire back to the mutant and knocked him down.

Ashley stood up quickly then, extending her hand to bring the mutant high into the air before lowering it and sending him crashing into the ground. Ichiru could tell from his motionless body that he had died instantly from the impact. He took the opportunity to stand up himself, seeing Ashley turn to look at him with a smile.

“Looks like you owe me.” Ichiru gave her a smirk, watching her run off toward a picnic table. He faintly heard her yell to Tommy before his attention shifted back to where he’d seen the fallen males a few feet away.

“Oh my God!” Back near the school, Kiseki looked up slowly when hearing an unfamiliar voice, seeing a girl with curly blonde hair kneeling near Keiru and himself. A brown haired boy was with her, who Kiseki didn’t recognize. He’d never seen either of them before, so did that mean these two were the new students?

Kotomi didn’t recognize either of them herself, and was slightly defensive toward the two when they approached Kiseki and Keiru, the flames still dancing around her body due to her rage toward Alexander. However, when she was sure neither of them posed a threat, she relaxed somewhat, remaining by their sides quietly as she tried to think of what she could do to help.

Kiseki looked back over toward the school, where faint yelling and bright flashes of light could be seen. Nalani was fighting with another male a few feet away. When he saw how much of a beating she was taking at first, the dark haired teen actually tried to get up, only to be given a harsh reminder that there was a pole in his stomach shortly afterward.

“Don’t move, Kiseki…” Kotomi reminded him softly, glancing back in the direction the younger twin had been looking. After a yelp of pain in response to his movement, Kiseki attempted to stretch out his hand toward the other male and summon his fire powers, but only a few embers emitted from his palm due to his sudden lack of energy. He cursed under his breath, dropping his hand back to the ground. However, by this time, Nalani had beaten her foe, which put him more at ease.

“Everything’s going to be okay.” Kiseki and Kotomi turned their heads to look back at the blonde, who now had her hands hovering over Kiseki’s and Keiru’s chests. “I’m going to circulate your bodily fluids and keep as much blood into you guys as possible until we can get you to a hospital.”

Kiseki looked like he wanted to say something, but decided against it, instead looking back down toward the pole as he gripped it tightly. He thought about just jerking it out, but he knew for a fact that wouldn’t be a good idea. Kotomi, realizing that there wasn’t much she could do aside from sitting near them, turned back toward the battlefield to cover the blonde as she helped her brother and teacher.

Ichiru slashed an enemy mutant who had been blocking his path across the battlefield with his vectors, watching him fall to the ground with a thud. He was starting to get tired from how much he was having to use the arm-like forces, but he didn’t have much of a choice. His telekinesis was powerful, but the vectors often provided him with a one hit KO, so he had to rely on those in such a situation as this. However, the amount of power it was taking to use them - or rather the ’blades’ on them - was starting to take a big toll on his energy.

As he paused to catch his breath, he spotted the boy that Ashley had been fighting before, who he’d heard her call Tommy, running into the school building with the brunette’s limp body in his arms. He furrowed his brow, starting back across the field shortly after. He’d known she was going to fall unconscious, but what exactly was he planning on doing with her? Was he actually taking her to safety, or what?

On the way inside the school, the dark haired teen stopped near the place he’d been trying to get to, kneeling down beside Keiru and Kiseki. As he saw the state the two were in, he felt a rage beginning to boil up within him as well. Kotomi was a few feet away, fending off any mutants that came toward the group.

“You’re such a reckless idiot…” The older twin muttered as he looked at Kiseki, knowing instantly what had happened.

“Mr. Smith would have died otherwise…” Kiseki managed a weak smile to his brother, who sighed in response. “Go check on the others, Ichiru. I’ll be fine.”

Ichiru started to protest, but the sound of explosions within the school made him do otherwise, rising back to his feet and turning back toward the damaged building. He glanced back at Kiseki, whose emerald eyes urged him to go on. After a moment or two more of hesitation, he ran toward the school, nearly crashing into Amy as she went out onto the battlefield.

Explosions greeted the dark haired teen as he ran into the school, following a trail of blood on the floor in order to search for Ashley and Tommy. As he ran through a classroom, a sudden explosion nearly knocked him off of his feet, forcing him to stop for a moment to regain his composure. He could hear a voice up ahead, although it didn’t belong to either Tommy nor Ashley. He ran out into the hallway and headed toward the medical room, where it looked like the trail stopped, only to be met by shrapnel which was suddenly sent flying everywhere after an explosion. He stopped to shield himself for a moment before looking up to see a man with long, dark hair. It didn’t take long at all to figure out that he was the source of all of the explosions.

Ichiru summoned his vectors, knowing he’d most likely have to fight the man if he confronted him. However, before he could say anything, a shout from Alexander came from outside, commanding his forces to leave. The man sent an orb into a classroom, giving off another explosion, which brought the dark haired teen to scowl.

“Damn him intruding on my fun.” Ichiru heard him say before disappearing into thin air. The sudden disappearance caught the younger teen off guard, but he shook it off soon after, resuming his run to the medical room, where he saw Ashley on the examination table and Tommy apparently having been trying to fix her up before. There were signs of an explosion here too, although luckily not as badly as in the halls and classrooms. He looked at Tommy first defensively, but after her truly realized the situation, the look shifted to one of confusion.

“You’re helping her?” He scowled, giving the other male a hard look as he walked over to the table, looking down at the unconscious brunette. “Why?”

Hearing a yell of pain, Kiseki looked up to see Amy coming across the field. He instantly noticed that the gloves she’d been wearing were off. She attempted to attack Alexander, but he narrowly avoided it by levitating into the air out of her reach. Amy’s hands were glowing with a bright light, which she used to unleash a blast of radiation toward the older man, who summoned scrap of metal in the air in front of him in order to barely stop the blast before it hit him. The radiation itself melted the metal, turning it into molten scrap, which made both Kiseki and Kotomi stare at it in shock. Neither of them had really known much about Amy’s powers, let alone what they could do. It completely made sense that she wore gloves to protect the people around her now…

After a pause, Amy raised both hands into the air, unleashing two beams of radiation which burst forward like a nuclear explosion. The attack cut through Alexander’s forces, the sheer power of the beams sending them flying backward. Amy dropped down onto one knee, and Kiseki almost tried to get up and go to her out of instinct, but this time remembered the pole and remained still.

Alexander’s laugh made him look up to the older man with a glare, who was still levitating in the air.

"Let's go!" He shouted, ordering what seemed to be a retreat. Kiseki and Kotomi both sighed in relief as his forces began to leave. The courtyard however, was almost in ruins. Flames has shredded most of it, and bodies littered the ground from both sides of the battle. The site was sickening and heart-wrenching at the same time. He noticed a man with long, dark hair appear near Amy, giving her what seemed to be an expression of disgust before spitting in her direction and walking off, which brought Kiseki to scowl.

Two fellow mutants approached Keiru and Kiseki shortly after, kneeling down next to them where Kotomi previously had been. The dark haired teen grit his teeth as the pole was carefully pulled out of him, nearly collapsing onto the ground when it had been removed. However, as the mutant began sealing up the would, he remained still, glancing over at Kotomi as she knelt down on the other side of Keiru and himself before looking back over to the blonde who had helped them until the other mutants arrived, giving her a small smile.

“Thank you for your help.”

OoC: Sorry about the length... I honestly didn't expect it to be so long. It was mostly recap so...

"Well well, what do we have here? A band of teenage heroes? Alas I suppose I have to do my job regardless." Tommy’s back was facing the entrance to the medical room in the school as he was stitching up Ashley’s arm, but a voice made him turn around. When he saw the Mutant was about to attack Tommy quickly dropped the needle onto the table and grabbed another table, shielding himself and Ashley from the explosions the Mutant caused.

“I’m on your team!” Tommy shouted from behind the table. When the explosions stopped he glanced around it, hearing Alexander’s voice.

"Let's go!" Alexander yelled as he called back his Mutants.

"Damn him intruding on my fun," The one Mutant who caused the explosions said, vanishing in thin air. Tommy then threw the table on the ground and turned back to Ashley, not noticing Ichiru at first.

“You’re helping her?” Tommy turned back around in full attack mode, seeing Ichiru standing in the room now as he walked towards the table the unconscious brunette was laying on. “Why?”

“Because she’s my friend.” Tommy said with protectiveness in his voice, turning back towards Ashley. “Sure we’re from different groups, but she and I were friends before I joined the Alexander Regime. She fainted from the blood loss, so I had to help her.” Tommy finished stitching Ashley’s arm as he walked across the room and damped a clean rag with warm water, now having the chance to wipe off all the blood on Ashley. He knew that Alexander told all of his Mutants to fall back, but Tommy wasn’t leaving until Ashley was alright. As Tommy was cleaning Ashley’s face, she slowly opened up her eyes to find herself in an unfamiliar room.

“What happened?” Ashley asked as she began to sit up, but Tommy quickly pushed her back down gently.

“Try not to move so much yet.” Tommy grabbed another roll of gauze and began to wrap up her arm. “We were about to fight but then you fainted from all the blood loss Crystal had caused, so I brought you here.”

“You left the battle?” Ashley asked in shock, making Tommy scowl.

“Of course I did! What? Did you think I was going to continue to fight while you were dying? What kind of friend would I be if I did that?” Tommy gave Ashley a hard look, making her sigh as she looked over to Ichiru, realizing for the first time that he was in the room.

“Ichiru… I, uhh…”

“Relax,” Tommy cut Ashley off as she looked back over to the blonde haired boy. “I already told him that we were friends before I joined Alexander, and that we still are.” Ashley sighed in relief as her cover wasn’t blown.

“I know that you told me not to bring it up again but... please Tommy, join this school and leave the Alexander Regime. They’ll take you in here.” Ashley begged. Tommy caught on the act quickly and shook his head.

“I’m sorry Ashley, but I can’t.” Ashley looked down from Tommy’s response, sadness appearing on her facial expression. “I need to go. Stay here and please rest.” Ashley looked back up at Tommy, nodding her head as she watched him leave.

Back outside Jeremy and Caroline heard Alexander call back his Mutants, making the two sigh in relief. Since the two teens were preoccupied in the tasks they were doing however, they completely missed what Amy had done, though it was completely amazing. Two Mutants then approached Keiru and Kiseki, taking out the poles that were embedded in their bodies and aided the injuries, making Caroline pull her hands back in order to give the Mutants the space they required.

“Thank you for your help.” Caroline looked up at Kotomi, who gave Caroline a small smile, which Caroline returned as Jeremy walked over to the scene since there weren’t any Mutants to fight now.

“You’re welcome.” Caroline then shifted her gaze to Kiseki, giving him a smile in relief that he was alright; it was a real smile, not one of her fake ones for the act she had to keep up.

“Caroline,” Jeremy’s words made the blonde look up at him. “Do you see Ashley anywhere?”

“I’m sure she’s fine Jeremy.” Caroline said as she stood up and glanced at the ruined courtyard, seeing that bodies littered the ground. It was then that Jeremy and Caroline saw Tommy sprint out of the school and left the grounds, making the two look at each other. The two then ran inside the damaged school, running through the hallways until they found Ashley and Ichiru in the medical room. Caroline instantly realized that Ichiru and Kiseki were twins, making the blonde walk up to him. “Your brother is going to be fine. Other Mutants are fixing him right up now.” Caroline then shifted her attention over to Ashley, who was hooked up to a blood pouch and an IV, as well being stitched and bandaged up.

“What happened?” Jeremy asked his sister.

“I’ll fill you guys in later.” Ashley said as she sat up, ripping out both needles from her hands and stood up, making both Caroline and Jeremy scowl.

“You need that!” Jeremy said as he walked over to his sister, but she just shook her head.

“I’ll be fine now.” Ashley stood up from the table as Jeremy put an arm around her waist, helping her keep her balance. “I just want to go up to the room and rest right now.”

“I’ll take some of these then.” Caroline said as she grabbed bandages, clean clothes and rubbing alcohol for hers, Jeremy’s and Ashley’s wounds. The trio began to leave but Ashley stopped as she looked at Ichiru.

“I’ll see you later.” Ashley offered him a smile before the three left. They walked up to Ashley’s room and closed the door, walking over to the bed as the three of them sat down on it.

“Well today was fun…” Jeremy said as he sighed.

“I wasn’t expecting that attack at all.” Caroline said as she attending all of the wounds on herself, Jeremy and Ashley.

Because she’s my friend.” Tommy responded to Ichiru protectively, which made him eye the other male suspiciously. “Sure we’re from different groups, but she and I were friends before I joined the Alexander Regime. She fainted from the blood loss, so I had to help her.” The dark haired teen watched as he finished stitching the brunette’s arm and walked across the room to dampen a clean rag with warm water.

Ichiru allowed his vectors to retract, finally realizing that Tommy honestly meant no harm at this particular moment. Shortly after he’d clean the blood off of Ashley, Ichiru saw the brunette open her eyes.

“What happened?” She started to get up, but Tommy pushed her back down gently.

“Try not to move so much yet.” He told her as he grabbed another roll of gauze bandage and began to wrap up her arm. Ichiru averted his gaze to the open doorway, missing the rest of the conversation as he listened for any footsteps or other voices

“Ichiru… I, uhh…” The dark haired teen looked over to Ashley as she addressed him, apparently shocked by his presence, and even thrown off. He started to speak, but Tommy stopped both of them.

“Relax. I already told him that we were friends before I joined Alexander, and that we still are.”

“I know that you told me not to bring it up again but... please Tommy, join this school and leave the Alexander Regime. They’ll take you in here.” After a sigh of what seemed to be relief - although to what, Ichiru didn’t know - Ashley turned back to the blonde.

“I’m sorry Ashley, but I can’t.” Ashley looked down in response to Tommy’s answer, sadness coming onto her expression. “I need to go. Stay here and please rest.” Ichiru looked at the destroyed tile floor as Tommy left, not quite sure what to do now.

Approaching footsteps put the dark haired teen back on alert, and he turned quickly, his vectors whipping out once more from his defensive reaction. Even though Alexander had called back his forces, Ichiru was still somewhat wary of his surroundings; after all, he didn’t know that more enemy mutants hadn’t hung around afterward.

However, when Caroline and Jeremy ran into the room, Ichiru relaxed, giving a soft sigh at his sudden paranoia. Isn’t that what he wanted to avoid, since it normally ended with him hurting people?

“What happened?” Jeremy asked his sister.

“I’ll fill you guys in later.” Ashley ripped out both needles from her hands and stood up, making both Ichiru scowl along with Jeremy and Caroline.

“You need that!” Jeremy beat Ichiru to the response as he walked over to his sister, but Ashley shook her head.

“I’ll be fine now.” Jeremy put an arm around the brunette‘s waist to help her walk and keep her balance. “I just want to go up to the room and rest right now.”

“I’ll take some of these then.” Caroline said as she grabbed bandages, clean clothes and rubbing alcohol from the nearby cabinets and drawers. Ichiru moved out of the way while the trio left, glancing back at Ashley as she stopped and looked at him.

“I’ll see you later.” She offered a smile, which Ichiru managed to return before the three of them disappeared. The dark haired teen hung back for a few more moments before leaving the room himself, breaking into a run once he’d reach the hallway in order to get outside more quickly. When he arrived on the field again, he found it littered with bodies, although the remaining people were all students from the school. The site was truly horrible to see.

Ichiru turned and ran back over to where Kiseki and Keiru had been when he left, seeing that the poles had already been removed from their bodies by now, and some of the students from the school were working on sealing up their wounds. He knelt down beside Kotomi, who sighed in relief upon seeing Ichiru safe again. She’d seen him going back into the school by himself shortly before a bunch of explosions were heard, and had been about to go look for him when he’d come back.

“Some day, huh?” She said, to which Ichiru nodded as Kiseki looked up. Ichiru glanced over to Keiru, then back to Kiseki, who offered a small, reassuring smile when seeing the worried look in his brother’s eyes.

“Hopefully something like this won’t happen again…”
