You can always call your local Toys-r-us to see if they are hosting the event. Though, I get the feeling this is another US only event.

I wonder what will hatch.

The UK is a few episodes behind the US anime. So the likelihood is that this is for US only for the time being. We'll probably get it over Wifi, anyway.

It's like saying, "Make an effort to come out to the store and we'll give you a Rattata!"

Not really worth getting.

True. It doesn't really seem worth it just for a Pokemon with one max IV stat. *Shrug*

If it's eventually available to the UK I wouldn't mind either Pansage or Axew. iirc they come with TMs and stuff too.

WARNING: SPOILER ALERT~ >w>

Spoiler:
That...is totally not a secret. oAo It's a friggin' Scraggy egg. >w>
Ash's Scraggy Egg.
See for yourself in the gallery on this page on Bulbapedia.
Ash's Scraggy.

Oh 4kids, you are TERRIBLE at these "OMG GUESS WHAT POKEMON IT IS" things. xD; If anyone has either seen the episodes in Japanese or just stumbled upon the egg when they looked through the "Pokemon Egg" page on Bulbapedia, they'd most likely know.

No it's not. lol.

It's an

Spoiler:
Axew, Pidove or Pansage, belonging to Iris, Ash and Cilan respectively. The egg you get is randomised, but you get one of those three.

Scraggy's event comes later, and it's not in an egg.

...That doesn't make any sense. xD; But, okay.

Silly Gamefreak....Contradiction is contradictory.
The egg that Ash gets in the Anime is a Scraggy, and the event claims for the player to "follow along in the footsteps of Ash," or whatever, but the Pokemon that comes out of the egg is one of three Pokemon that are irrelevant to the egg Ash gets. What the freak.

xD;

I think they wanted to avoid giving what happened away in the anime. The event occured about three weeks before the hatching episode occurred, and at that point there were still a ton of people who thought it was a:

Spoiler:
Sandile, or maybe even Sewaddle (which of course he later catches). But it's not.
