Yeah, I've been wondering that too... How would a duel work here?

Well, I would assume you RP the duels against NPC's, where you decide what cards you and your opponent draw/play and how the outcome works. I think for PvP, it would work the same way as any other RP, where you two decide how you want it to end.

I would imagine it would be structured somwhat like this:

P1 posts that s/he draws cards and starts laying out what they can/want to of what's in their 'hand'. Then it turns over to P2. P2 draws cards, lays out a monster and launches an attack. P2 waits for P1's response to the attack. P1 Posts trap card or take damage before going back to P2. When P2 ends their turn, P1 can make their move/attacks/etc. Basically, in PvP, you would post what your doing, then wait for your opponent to post, in case they have a viable counter or affect due to your attack.

That's pretty much right on the Dime Mewcario. I will have the involved dueling parties decide with me who is winning and who is losing. I'll also make sure everyone takes a fall now and then. Especially my own character. ANyways. We'll start the RP at about 8:00 tonight

Counter traps are going to be a pain in the anus.

Which is where the agreed upon outcome comes into play. If you've agreed to lose, don't drag out the fight with insanely long back and forth counter chains. Perhaps at most give each side one counter per turn. Make the battle interesting, but don't overdo it. That's just my opinion.

Nyurhg, I just wanna compliment that duel post, that is my view of an ideal duel and I think you deserve a round of applause. Good job man!! Also, Mewcario, I hope its OK to have Alan and Robert as friends since theyre in the same dorm and have both been a DA for a little while. just thinkin'.

Thanks, but it's nothing special. I just based it on the way the yu-gi-oh wiki describes the anime duels.

Nyurghs post was beautiful.

My first post wasn't the best, I really didn't know what to do for the duel and I skipped a bunch of turns and went from my first turn to the last turn were I lost xD.

im free for some friends or whatever, or some romance LOL

Welp, Sammysays seems to be ignoring my VM'S BUT she mistaked nyurghs posrt about sitting with a lonely girl as her character.... Nyurgh said REDHEAD when her character had dark brown hair, she also said good posture, but if her character was bad wouldn't she be slouching or something, seeing as how me and nyurgh had something planed out, with sammy intercepting nyurghs post it kinda ruined it..
