So often the Japanese names seem fine the way they are. I end up mystified why they are changed sometimes.

I don't so much mean the move names (but "big pecks" LOL!), but the trainer, gym leader, and pokemon names.

When it comes to the new attack names, I prefer the Japanese names much more.

Is it just me or do the names seem stranger than usual? I mean normally the city names make some sort of sense and the character names can actually pass for names... Burgh? Brycen? Ghetsis? Even the city names are hard to pronounce...

I thought that too.

Brycen sounds like it's maybe Bryce's kid. But Burgh and Ghetsis sound like stomach noises and sneezes.

It's funny they would change names that are sensible and pronounceable and give us such complicated funny names in other places.

Hmm...some of the English names makes sense. I really like Clay and Skyla. They make sense seeing which gym leader they are.

Also not to brag or anything but looks like we beat Serebii to the punch on this story. haha
