Commander Rory Mandrake/Bad/Olivine City

Rory was enjoying his ciggarette. He cared little that it would probably kill him quicker, he was going to die of something anyway. Puffing on the deathstick, he was totally relaxed as he lay against the railing, watching the world go by. Sure there was a ton of paperwork to do, but that was what lackeys were for right? Who gave a snot about paperwork anyways. Paperwork meant a trail that the police could follow. When Rory became commander, he downright refused to have any file on himself - it could give anyone evidence against him. Tinker, who had been a bit tense was now much more relaxed on his shoulder, although she poked him suddenly as she spotted a face they both recognised.

Fellow Commander Jake Johnson had just left the pub, turning the sign round to say it was open as he did. He spotted Rory and made his way over, speaking to him as he arrived.

"..You know, smoking one cigarette kills at least a week off of your life, right?" Jake said.

Rory laughed at this "Acctually scientists worked out its only six minutes my friend, but like I care anyway. Were all going to die one way or another." he replied, giving him a smirk.

Jake seemed indifferent. "..so...anything interesting going on today? I heard that loser Starr with his Reject Brigade is coming to town today." He said to Rory. The poor lad sounded rather bored.

"Nah, me and Tinker here were just relaxing after our lunchtime meal. Pretty good food in there I must say squire, you should check it out sometime. The waiters rather jumpy though." He said, indicating to the diner. "So the hero Starr is coming to visit Olivines majestic beauty eh? Wonderful. I never acctually met the bloke, seeing as I was recruited after the monumental screw up at Goldenrod." Rory had lowered his voice now. "Wouldn't mind meeting the fellow, if you get my drift?" he said, winking.

Jake might have smiled, but Rory couldn't really tell. He was such a proffesionall lad bless him. "...oh right, you have a Mawile too....you better be careful. Ever since Admin Drake killed a dude with his own Shiny Mawile as a way to vent after the way Drax was treating him, the police has started a search for people who own a Mawile...but then again, you'll probably be all to happy to take credit for the murder yourself." Jake warned Rory.

Rory gwaffed at this, for some reason finding it hilarious. "Oh if only I had! Tinker here would have had a whale of a time." he said, patting the Mawile on the head. He reached into his jacket pocket once more and pulled out another cig, sparking it up in a flash. "But I wouldn't worry. The police for around here are so bone idle they won't catch him. If they ask me for questioning I will gladly go along with them. It will be ... entertaining, to say the least." he said, grinning madly.

As he finished that sentence, he spotted the humoursly dressed bloke leave the diner with a Officer Jenny. Now this should be interesting. If they didn't spot Rory with Tinker on his shoulder, they were stupidly useless.

Danica Garnet/ (Chaotic) Good/Olivine

Danica Garnet cursed herself for having taken the long way back. She’d been walking for a little while now, and was in a bit of a foul mood. The item in which she had wanted wasn’t there, it having been “sold” moments before the girl arrived. Then, there were those shady characters, whose gaze only served as more of an irritant. She knew they were interested in Choroneko, who was perched comfortably on her right shoulder. These feline Pokémon were more than rare in Johto, and Dani figured, if they had one, could sell it for a good price. They didn’t try though, maybe it was the piercing glance she gave them, not giving that scum a chance to see her more insecure side…

The brunette girl wasn’t lost, however. She’d already studied the map of Olivine; no way would she let herself be that vulnerable. This didn’t prevent her from being unfamiliar with the area, though. The logos pasted on some of the buildings were completely foreign, those companies not having a presence in Hoenn or Isshu. She’d become completely detached from her home region of Johto.

Another thing that was a little odd in this city was all the beaches. Despite having plenty of harbours, Olivine still boasted a considerable number of untouched coastlines, where tourists and locals both gathered. It was certainly one of features not affected by Ultima’s presence.

Oh yes, Davis hadn’t been sparing about what had gone down last month. Starr, Ultima, Dani probably knew 90% of the details. She knew both forces were antagonistic, that they wanted to see the other crushed. Her cousin showed strong negative emotion toward both parties, but seemed a little more caught up about the CEO, seemed. Either way, Danica figured they were both up to no good, but wanted to see things for herself. Don’t pool your trust too quickly…

By time they passed the third beach, the girl had pulled out her city map, just wanting to confirm whether or not she’d missed a turn. Grumbling, she realised that the names “Seaside Street” and “Shoreline Street” had gotten themselves mixed up in her head, and that a blocks worth of backtracking was in order. Almost in hopes of further torment, the wind picked up, just as the girl’s grip on the map weakened, and proceeded to carry it off, toward to the beach. Dani sigh angrily and started chasing it, the cement soon turning to sand as it drifted in the breeze.

This item flew by two teenage boys, one wearing a black jacket. Why anyone would wear that to the beach was anybody’s guess. Not paying attention to the ground below her, the girl missed a rock, and ended up flying face first into the moist sand. Lyra managed to jump and land gracefully, unlike Danica…

Davis Garnet/Good/Olivine City (Pokémon Centre)

Once the doors had flung themselves open, Davis had wasted no time turning around, in hopes of seeing Danica. However, despite being a girl, certainly wasn’t Dani. Not that she didn’t look a little familiar, but that wasn’t the point. Sighing, the boy returned his gaze to the clock, starting to get both concerned a slight bit impatient…

(I think I’m the same boat as Char ^^’ )

Sarah “Drizzle” White/Good/Olivine City

Drizzle had zoned out from the world, only paying attention to her thoughts. She was so out of it that she didn’t notice the ranger girl who raced over to her side. “Are you okay?” The other girl asked. Drizzle was so surprised by the girl being there that she jumped. It didn’t take her long to realize that the girl was there out of concern.

“Y-yes...” Drizzle said shyly. It then occurred that the girl noticed the small burns on her body. “Oh... I just tried to stop a Pikachu from attacking Raein,” she motioned to the Vaporeon, “and I got shocked.” In retrospect, that was an even more stupid idea than Raein attacking the Pikachu in the first place.

Raein giggled at her trainer's reaction to the ranger girl showing up. The Charmander who was with the ranger was just as worried, but soon his nose twitched. “She smells funny.” The Charmander said.

Raein turned to the Charmander. “She can understand us. Would you say that now?” She said in Pokespeak. Raein just figured she might as well tell the Charmander. ‘She smells funny’ isn’t normally something you say while the person in question is standing in earshot. Drizzle looked at the Charmander for a second, nodded to confirm Raein was telling the truth, and looked back at the two humans.

"..hmm...just what happened to your Vaporeon? Was it due to a trainer...or a wild pokemon?" The boy who was with the ranger asked.

“Well, it was a Pikachu.... I’m not sure if it was wild or not. It was in the city but... no humans around.” Drizzle replied. She felt that she should have a way of knowing if it was a trainer’s Pokemon or not, but if there was one she didn’t know it.

"...hmm...that look...are you lost? ...In any case, you should go to the pokemon center anyways to heal your Vaporeon...Me and Summer were about to head there ourselves. If you want, I'll be willing to escort you there....oh, and my name is Chris." The boy said, ending with a little smile.

A smile wider than any Raein had seen while in this city appeared on Drizzle’s face. A way to the Pokemon Center had finally presented itself. “T-thank you! I’ve been looking for it for over an hour but...” Drizzle was too embarrassed to finish that sentence, so went on to introduce herself. “My name is Drizzle.” She than caught herself introducing herself by her Pokemon name. "Wait, it's Sarah! But most people call me Drizzle!" The Vaporeon sighed again.

Kenny/Neutral/Investigating in Olivine

Now the hard part was going to begin, where to find clues about Ultima whereabouts? Kenny and Nidoking were walking in the beach trying to find someone suspicious but the city was so full of shady characters that it was difficult to distingsh the common thugs from the real deal.

''We arent getting anywhere King'' he sighed and continued walking. As he walked along the beach along the beach he couldnt help but a strange cat Pokemon running alongside a girl. ''Wow, i have never seen a Pokemon like that King'' the Pokemon gave a small growl and nodded.

One moment after another the girl suddenly fell and landed with his face in the sand, not the most graceful way to take a fall unlike his cat like Pokemon which landed on all his fours. ''Oww, i wonder if she is alright.'' Kenny rushed to where the girl was to help her but he also wanted an excuse to get a closer look at the strange Pokemon.

''Hey girl, are you alright?'' Kenny asked and tried to help the girl but the cat Pokemon growled at him in a angry manner.

Micheal/Evil/Olivine Luxury Hotel

"...there you are, Micheal." Drake said, "...you're lucky...Drax doesn't want to talk to you or punish you...due to you bringing back the prototype safely. Only time...and Drax's wrath...will tell whether or not Chase will join us or not on our road to recovering our reputations. He's up there talking to Drax right now...." this words made Micheal feel better but not for much.

Drake then turned his head facing toward Micheal as he said: "...afterward, if he's still around, he'll be taking the two of you off of me...and you'll be under his jurisdiction now. He'll probably just recruit you to simple street reconnaissance to start off, I heard rumors that Starr and his petty little "Ultima Buster" squad will arrive today..."

Under Drax's jurisdiction? Well it wasnt unexpected but why would Drax want them if they had messed up that badly? But this wasnt the time to think about this, what caught Micheal's full attention was the news about Starr and his supposedly new 'elite' team.

''So Starr has decided to make his move? This may give us 3 a good opportunity to regain our statuses, that is if Chase comes out walking from the elevator.'' he replied in a serious voice.

(OOC: Lulz, you probably shouldn't bunny Moonlight's Pokemon... But other then that, it was okay ^^)

Ty/???/Olivine Beach

Ty and Skyler eventually made it down to the beach, the former being quite silent, the latter totally unable to stop his mouth. The young Trainer was more than happy to talk about how he had been to Olivine before, and had some grand adventure out on the seas over here. Ty only payed half-attention to his words, his mind wandering elsewhere. Then suddenly, a piece of paper flew by.

"Wait, what?" Skyler stared after it, mystified by its sudden appearance. He and Ty turned back, immediately noticing a young woman chasing after it with a cat Pokemon at her heels. And of course, Skyler whistled.

"Did you see her?" he asked, cocky smile on his face.

"Grow up, Skyler," Ty rolled his eyes, but before he turned back around, he saw that the girl suddenly face-plant it into the sand. Skyler and Ty started forward, about to help her, when a stranger beat them to it. Ty skid to a halt, realizing that the stranger wasn't all that strange to him. He had seen that face before... Back in Goldenrod...

Skyler, oblivious to Ty's hesitance, raced up to see if she needed other assistance. Where Kenny was hesitant to assist her, Skyler went on in and lifted her back on her feet. But like any obnoxious guy, he couldn't help but laugh. "Dude, you totally biffed it, there. Are you all right?"

Ty again sighed in exasperation at the boy, but noticed the paper that the girl had been chasing, caught on a hill of sand. He scooped it up, took a look at it, then joined the other boys. Wordlessly, he held out the map to return it to her.

_____

Summer/Good/En Route to Olivine PokeCenter

The girl Summer and Chris had approached looked up at them shyly, but answered, indicating her Pokemon, “Y-yes... Oh... I just tried to stop a Pikachu from attacking Raein, and I got shocked.”

Summer was of coursed relieve to hear that it wasn't as serious as she had thought, but she couldn't help but be a little disappointed that she hadn't heard anything about Ultima. Still, she was concerned about the girl, who certainly seemed lost, and wanted to help her out where she could.

Just then, Raen--the Vaporeon, apparently--turned in response to Flame, saying, “She can understand us. Would you say that now?”

Summer couldn't understand them, but Flames appeared surprised at whatever the Eeveelution had said. Then, the girl turned to the Charmander, and nodded. Summer blinked in confusion, not really understanding what was going on... but then Chris spoke up and asked the girl if she was lost. She seemed relieved at his offer to help.

“T-thank you! I’ve been looking for it for over an hour but...” she blushed, apparently embarrassed. “My name is Drizzle. Wait, it's Sarah! But most people call me Drizzle!"

Summer was totally fine with calling her Drizzle, thinking that it was apparently a nickname. A strange nickname, but a nickname nonetheless. "Okay, Drizzle. I'm Summer Kirkham, a Ranger of the Gold--," she stopped to correct herself,"--of Saffron City."

"And I'm Flames!" her Partner happily introduced himself.

"Oh, and this is my Partner Pokemon, Flames," the ranger added, of course not understanding what her Pokemon said--and assuming that Drizzle didn't know as well.

"That's what I said...," the Charmander muttered.

"Alrighty, Chris," she continued, oblivious. "Lead the way."

Flames sighed, "She's been unusually peppy lately... probably just trying to hide..." he stopped himself--aware that others could hear AND understand him.
______

Chase/Ebil (lol yeah I'm always going to use that)/Olivine Hotel

Chase glanced about the glamorous apartment as quickly as he could before finally approaching the dreaded Admin Drax.

"...so...you're the 'Commander' that fought along side Drake in Goldenrod?" the disturbing man said, looking Chase up and down. "..Well...Chase...that was your name right? Anyways, Chase...explain to me exactly what happened over there at the Bike Shop...and why what happened there took place....and then answer me this. Why do think you deserve another chance? Why do you think I shouldn't just kill you right now? I can't punish Drake that much, due to his status, but you...tell me why you should be spared. Answer well, because it just might be your last."

Chase stared right back into those unnatural red eyes, not in the least bit unnerved as others would have. He wasn't afraid--he wasn't anything, or at least anything that he ever showed. The young man had always appeared utterly emotionless, showing no fear, no apprehension, not even scared or distressed. He simply did whatever he was told, as obedient as a puppet. And now, in response to Drax's demands, he opened his mouth and spoke in his breathy voice that was largely unused... And stoically, he gave the overall report of his actions nearly a month ago--which he had completely memorized, down to each little detail: from his assault on the Ranger Base, to meeting with Drake and all the things that occured with the kidnapped Ranger in the underground base. He told about the battle with the young Trainers with neither the attitude of defending himself, or selling himself. In fact, he almost didn't seem to care that his every word was being weighed against him.

But he wasn't a coward. He wasn't going to gutless-ly whine, grovel, or grope his way to convince Drax not to kill him. He wasn't afraid of the man before him.

He wasn't afraid of anything.

Admin Chris Drax/Evil/Olivine Hotel - Drax's Penthouse

Drax had a plain face as Chase was recalling the events of the past month, with no hint of concern or fear in his words.

"Hmm...I must say, I'm actually impressive." Drax said once Chase was finished, "...any sane man would break down and grovel at my feet...or maybe you just haven't heard about me and my reputation....well...due to your ability to repress your feelings...you will be spared...however..." Drax noticed over near a window, and his Charizard who was resting awoke from his slumber and then walked to Drax's side, "...you still need to be punished."

Drax then made a simple gesture to his Charizard, and Charizard did a rapidly fast swipe with his claw...which left a slash scar on Chase's left cheek. "...this will be a constant reminder of your failure. If you're as smart as I think you are, you'll use it to motivate you in order to make sure you don't fail again. Now then, you're under my jurisdiction now. First order of business, go back down to the lobby and get Commander Micheal, then bring him back up here. I will then tell the both of you your next assignment."

Chris R. Kane/Good/Olivine City - Pokemon Center

After the introductions were finished, Chris helped escort both of the ladies to the Olivine City Pokemon Center.

"...well, here we are ladies." Chris said as he entered the door, slightly ahead of the two ladies. Davis would soon find him....

Danica Garnet/(Chaotic) Good/ Olivine Beach

''Hey girl, are you alright?'' It toke that voice to get a reaction out of the girl, who hadn’t made an effort to pry herself out of the sand. She looked, and saw a strange face looking at her downed body. A sigh of utter frustration was his reply, and proceeded to spit out some salty grains.

Lyra didn’t like this character; there was something… fishy about him. Maybe it was his tone, maybe it was his clothes. Either way, she rather he not go near Dani or herself.

“I think so,” she replied unpleasantly, and gave her Pokémon a slight stare. This, the cat didn’t seem like, but quickly grew silent, not taking her eyes off the guy. She, however, didn’t seem to mind the next person to try and assist her trainer, which was one of the boys they’d spotted earlier. Without a word, this guy helped her up, and Danica let him, which was little unlike her, but then again, she was still slightly shaken up. However, not so enough to not react to the following statement by said teenager.

"Dude, you totally biffed it, there. Are you all right?"

“I KNOW!” She hissed without thinking, briefly looking at her sand covered clothes. From her dark grey jeans to the light top she was wearing, not part had been spared. “I’ll be okay,” added the girl, her voice lower and less harsh. In her state, she didn’t notice the jacket wearing boy retrieve her map, not until he handed it back.

Danica hadn’t expected to get that item back, and was quite surprised to see have it back in her grasp. After quietly observing it for a few moments, she looked back up at this character, not knowing how to really respond.

“Thanks,” Dani finally offered, although it still managed to sound a little dry. She looked at the other two boys, and offered them the same word, that did try and help after all. However, Lyra’s dislike for the first made her a little suspicious, and the way the second spoke turned her off a little…

Davis Garnet/Good/Olivine Pokémon Centre

This was taking too long, and Davis now couldn’t help but shake the feeling that something had happened. What though, he couldn’t guess, and hoped that it wasn’t something bad. He was going to get off his seat and go look around, when the door opened once more. Like before, the boy immediately turned to face the entrance, hoping a familiar face would appear. And, unlike last time, one did!

Chris stood in doorway; Summer and another girl close behind. The latter was unrecognisable; Davis had never seen her before. None the less, this didn’t stop him from straightening up, before standing up, a smile appearing on his once monotone face.

“Hey guys,” he greeted, and waved his hand. This one, until just a few days ago, had been bandaged. It got wounded in the struggle back in Goldenrod, and even though it had finally healed, was still sensitive. Not that this last action was enough to hurt it or anything.

Lyla Emony/Good/Olivine Pokemon Center

Lyla had been sitting down watching as a guy had turned around twice, as if looking for someone. He seemed disappointed both times he had turned around. Then he turned around once more and waved towards a guy who had just entered the Pokemon Center. Is that who he was looking for? I don't know, it's none of my business anyways. Lyla turned back to her pokemon and they had fallen asleep. Looks like I'm not the only one whose bored... Lyla sighed and returned her Snivy and Piplup. She grabbed her bag and walked out of the Pokemon Center through the back door that lead to the battle field in the back.

She took a breath of fresh air. Maybe I should go get some practice in for the next Pokemon Contest I plan to participate in Lyla took out two pokeballs and launched them into the air. Each pokeball had a seal on it, a Heart Seal and a Fire Seal. A wave of pink hearts gathered two form a Togekiss (Heart) and a ball of blue flames formed a Haxorus (Rex). Lyla was reluctant to use Rex because he lost his temper sometimes and wouldn't listen to her. If I'm going to use Rex in a Pokemon Contest someday I must train with him. Lyla nodded and stood up straight.

"Okay let's do it. Heart use Aura Sphere up into the sky. And Rex use Dragon Pulse at the Aura Sphere!" Lyla commanded. Heart drew in his wings and unleashed a crystal blue sphere into the sky. Rex then unleashed a wave of purple energy from his mouth. The two attacks collided and caused an explosion which sent both pokemon tumbling. Rex got up and stomped his feet in anger. He gave out one loud roar that echoed everywhere. "Rex, please just calm down," Lyla said in a comforting tone. Rex stomped his feet and began launching a blasting blue flames everywhere. "Rex stop using Dragon Rage!" Lyla ordered. Rex continued blasting randomly.

"Heart use Aura Sphere!" Lyla exclaimed. Heart launched a blue sphere of energy at Rex but he slammed it back at him with a big claw of red energy. Heart was sent flying into Lyla. They both ended up on the floor. Heart had been badly injured by Rex's attack. "Heart! Rex please calm down!" Lyla shouted. But to no avail, Rex continued his rampage of blasting blue flames everywhere.

Ethan Conway/Good/Olivine-Beach

Ethan had been following the man all the way here to the beach but found out nothing interesting. He doesn't seem to be doing anything bad...well this was a waste of time... Ethan then headed back into town. A loud roar was heard coming from a far. "Sounds like one angry pokemon. I'd better go see what's happening," Ethan said to himself. He began running towards where the roar had come from.

Kenny/Neutral/Olivine Beach

The girl spit out some sand and then replied in like an unpleasant tone “I think so”. She also looked at his Pokemon which stopped making growling noises at that moment. Kenny was about to help her out but another guy beat him to it.

"Dude, you totally biffed it, there. Are you all right?"

“I KNOW!” the girl replied, now in a more louder tone but after a brief moment she added more calmly “I’ll be okay”. In that moment another person got close, but this time it was another familiar face. It was Ty, that other Ranger he had met in Goldenrod.

''Hey Ty, long time no see. So you decided to track Ultima along with Summer and Chris?'' he asked Ty, but Kenny didnt knew what happened after he left Ultima Base in Goldenrod. He didnt knew that Ty was now working alongside Starr, one of the persons he hated most. ''Did you lost track of them? Because i saw them walking without you.''

Sarah “Drizzle” White/Good/Olivine City

For a few moments Drizzle worried that the ranger had noticed her strange behavior, but soon realized that the ranger was just as oblivious to the face as she had been at the beginning of this meeting. Soon the ranger had introduced herself, then her Charmander after the Pokemon had already introduced himself. Raein found Flame’s words about Summer trying to hide from something interesting. She would ask the Charmander about it later if possible.

Chris then lead both of the girls to the Pokemon Center, and entered slightly ahead of both of them. “T-thank you.” Drizzle said. “Let’s go, Raein.” She motioned to the Vaporeon next to her, which nodded. Before they could go over to the counter though, a boy started over toward them, apparently knowing the other two.

Drizzle didn’t know what to do now. She felt like it would be mean if she just left as the boy just showed up, but also knew her wasn’t addressing her. She just staid where she was and waited until she was addressed. Raein decided to use this opportunity to confront the Charmander about what he had said earlier. “What did you mean by ‘trying to hide?’”

Summer/Good/Olivine Pokemon Center

Upon coming into the Olivine Pokemon Center, Summer and Chris--with their new added friend--ran into a familiar face.

Davis turned and waved at them, using the arm that had once been injured. "Hey, guys," he called to them, and Summer smiled and waved back."

"Hey, Davis," said she. "I was wondering if you made it here. How's it going?"

Drizzle glanced shyly between them, apparently unsure of what to make of this. She had tried to leave them earlier, but with Davis's approach, she seemed to hesitate. This gave time, however, for her Vaporeon to speak to Flames.

“What did you mean by ‘trying to hide?’”
the Eeveelution asked, to which the Charmander grew uncomfortable.

"Um, well..." he glanced up as his Partner uncertainly. "She's just been... through a lot of trauma this last month... She was, well, kidnapped..."

Before the Charmander could say much else, a sudden roar shook the Pokemon Center. Summer and her Partner Pokemon--along with other Trainers in the building--glanced around in confusion.

"What on earth?" Summer mouthed, before another tremor shook the room.

"It sounds like it's coming from the back," some random person shouted out.

Summer's face deepened into concentration as her Ranger instincts started kicking in. To Davis, she said, "Hold that thought..", before racing off through the Center to the doors leading to the practice arena out back.

Usually, battling within city limits was against regulation, but within the Center's property certain exceptions could be made. From the looks of it, some girl had wanted to squeeze in some practice time, but her Pokemon--an agitated Haxorus spewing out blue flames--had gotten out of her control. As a Ranger, Summer immediately jumped into action.

"Luna, go!" she shouted, sending out her Noctowl from her Poke Ball.

The giant owl spread her wings out in the brilliant sun, hooting to announce her readiness for battle. She deftly dodged the blasts of flames that were firing everywhere, then stared down at the raging Pokemon with deep concentration.

"Hypnosis, now!" Summer gave her order, and the Noctowl obeyed, looking the crazed dragon right in the eye as her own began to glow...

Ty/???/Olivine Beach

“I KNOW!”

Skyler jumped back at the girl's agitated retort as if he had been slapped.

But softer, the girl added, "I'll be okay."

After Ty handed back her map, she seemed speechless--surprised, even. She glanced over the paper for a bit, then returned her gaze back to him. She looked young, the ex-Ranger thought, but he suspected that that was deceiving. She was probably older than she looked, with her apparent strong character.

"Thank you," she finally spoke, causing Skyler's eyebrow to arch as he glanced between the two. Of course, she also extended the gratitude to him and the other random dude, but the Trainer suspected that it wasn't as real as the thanks she gave to Ty. Her cat was still giving him and Kenny a suspicious glare...

"Your welcome," Ty said back, nodding while keeping his eyes on her. Only when Kenny spoke up did he move them.

"Hey Ty, long time no see," the stranger who had first tried to help the girl spoke up, and finally Ty recognized him. He was one of the Trainers from back in Goldenrod...

"So you decided to track Ultima along with Summer and Chris?" the man continued casually, though the mention of those two names caused Ty to stiffen. Now he remembered... Kenny had taken off before Starr had shown off. He didn't know that Ty had given up on them and the Rangers.

"Did you lost track of them? Because i saw them walking without you."

"They're here?" Ty blinked, caught off guard. He exchanged a glance to Skyler, who had been standing by blatantly confused.

"Hey, you know this guy?" the younger Trainer hissed in a whisper.

"It's a long story," Ty muttered back to him, then added louder to Kenny. "Actually, I'm not working with them anymore. I'm tracking down Ultima with Starr's 'Buster' team."

Ty really didn't want to talk about that right now, though. He didn't want to think about that night when he had failed to fulfill his revenge, when he had turned his back on the Rangers. All of that was behind him. For now, he wanted to look to the future--to what laid before him.

So, turning to the girl, he asked, "Is there anything I can help you with?"

Skyler coughed--on purpose, Ty was sure--but the ex-Ranger ignored him. Ty had his suspicions that the girl was probably lost, and if she was, he didn't want to leave her that way. He might have been a changed man, but he wasn't rude.

Chase/EBIL! (but victimized!!! Le Gasp!!!)/Olivine Hotel

(OOC: *clears throat… and commences screaming* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Dx)

As Chase finished his tale, Drax fixed him with a neutral expression. Chase was utterly unable to read that stone face; he couldn't tell if the Admin was upset, angry, disappointed... or if he even believed him at all. Yet Chase wasn't concerned. He had told the truth, and would face whatever Drax had in mind for him.

"Hmm...I must say, I'm actually impressive," the admin finally spoke. "...any sane man would break down and grovel at my feet...or maybe you just haven't heard about me and my reputation....well...due to your ability to repress your feelings...you will be spared...however..."

Those egnimatic eyes glanced over to the window, where his Charizard was just waking up, "...you still need to be punished."

Chase stiffened as the dragon approached, but stood his ground. Then, with a simple motion from its master, the Pokemon attacked with liquid speed. Chase’s hand flew up to his left cheek, stopping the blood from flowing from a new wound inflicted by the dragon’s sharp claws. The pain was there, stinging and sharp, but Chase was use to pain. He fought against it with all his will as he returned the Admin’s fierce stare.

"...this will be a constant reminder of your failure,” the ruthless man said. “If you're as smart as I think you are, you'll use it to motivate you in order to make sure you don't fail again. Now then, you're under my jurisdiction now. First order of business, go back down to the lobby and get Commander Micheal, then bring him back up here. I will then tell the both of you your next assignment."

Chase, with his face ever an emotionless mask, nodded in complete submission, and he turned and walked from the penthouse. As the elevator doors closed behind him, his eyes took on a faraway look. As hard as he worked to suppress his emotions, he could not stop the flow of memories that came rushing back to him. The smell of alcohol, thick in the air… the sound of a voice raging at him… the blows as they rained down on him… Why was this coming back to him? Why now?

“I am not weak,” Chase spoke coldly to his self, a glint of anger showing in his eyes for the first time in quite a while. This anger, however, was not directed to Drax, nor to anyone else outside. It was to himself, for remembering…

For failing…

He would not fail again.

Chase cleaned up the blood from his face as best as he could before the elevator doors opened once more. Immediately, he spotted Drake and Commander Michael, who appeared to be engaged in conversation. Wordlessly, Chase moved across the crowds towards them. He nodded respectfully to the old Admin, then said to Michael,

“He requests your presence.”

(OOC: That was, like, four pages in Word!!! o.o BTW, Burn, that last scene was way awesome! >:D Though... unfortunate for Chase D:)

Jake Johnson/Bad/Olivine City

"Hmm...true, the police are quite worthless...not just in this city, but the world over....and that's another reason why Ultima needs to reform the way things are done.." Johnson said to Rory, and then his watch made an alarm.

"..Hmm...it seems my break is over...my target has entered the area...well, mission calls me away now Rory, I'll see ya later."

Johnson walked away, and then looked at his watch, and it had a small blimp on it. Whenever Johnson returned Summer her Styler back to her a month ago, he also added a tracker bug chip in it...and a comms-rider bug in it so Ultima could listen in to all communications sent throughout her Styler...for example all the calls she made to other Rangers for the past month. This black-op assignment is also the main reason why Drax didn't punish Johnson along with Chase and Drake when they entered Olivine.

"Hmm...the Pokemon Center, huh? Well then...time to get to work...and not just only for Ultima this time.."

Johnson got out his Gardevoir and sat on a bench that was near the Pokemon Center's entrance, but on the other side of the path.

"Hmm...it seems some poor girl lost control of her pokemon..." Johnson said to Gardevoir has he simply watched the situation unfold, "If the situation gets worse, we'll use psychic to subdue him..." Just then, Summer and the gang went out of the center to help with the scene.

"Hmm...so, they are indeed here...interesting...time to get the ball rolling...if they see me, of course.."

Johnson wondered if the group would even notice him or not, considering he was now in his normal strett clothes, unlike the last time where he was in his Ultima Outfit...

Chris R. Kane/Good/Olivine Pokemon Center

"It's good to see you again, Davis." Chris said as their friend approached them, "Did you make sure to train during the last month as well? I think we'll definitely need all the help we can..." Just then a tremor shook the Center. "...the heck?"

Summer led the charge and Chris was right behind her as they went outside to see what the matter was.

"...hmm...a Dragon Type..." Chris said as he got out his Starmie, "..Starmie...use Psychic to hold that dragon in place so Summer's Noctowl can use Hypnosis easier!" Starmie then focused on the raging dragon as a blue outline was visible around it, locking it in place....all the while obliviously of Johnson sitting on a bench on the other side of the path....

Lyla Emony/Good/Olivine City-Pokemon Center
Ethan Conway/Good/Olivine City-Just Arriving at Pokemon Center

Rex (Haxorus) continued on his rampage, while Lyla laid on the ground with Heart (Togekiss) knocked out on top of her. Lyla squeezed Heart's pokeball out of her bag and returned Heart. Lyla tried to stand up but she collapsed. Her right leg had been scraped and a small amount of blood was being excreted from the scrape. When Heart had crashed into her she had scraped her knee on the ground. Then two people appeared. The girl had sent her Noctowl to use Hypnosis on Rex. The other boy had sent out his Starmie to hold Rex with a Psychic. Rex was caught by the Psychic but continued struggling against it. This was making Rex even more angry. The Hypnosis hit Rex straight on. He instantly fell asleep.

Lyla sat up and sighed. Her leg still oozing blood and her leg in pain. "I'm so sorry! I should have known better than to use Rex. He's not ready yet," Lyla apologized with tears running down her face. Maybe Rex is just too wild for me....but maybe I should just release him...I don't know... With Rex asleep and not a threat Lyla returned him to his pokeball.

Ethan had been following the sound to the Pokemon Center. He ran inside and asked one of the trainers,"Did you hear a wild pokemon's roar around here?" Ethan asked worriedly. The trainer nodded and pointed to the back. Ethan ran to the back and saw Lyla on the ground crying. And two other people. Ethan ran over to Lyla. "Lyla, what happened?" Ethan asked.

Lyla looked down into her lap in shame. "I lost control of my pokemon and he began attacking in a rampage. He hurt me and my pokemon," Lyla explained shamefully. "But these brave people helped to neutralize Rex and everything is okay. Thank you both for helping me out. My name is Lyla," she said still her face red and her eyes filled with tears.

"My name is Ethan I'm a Pokemon Ranger. I hail from the Ranger Base in Blackthorn City," Ethan introduced himself. Looks like once again I have missed all the action... Ethan felt sympathy for Lyla but he wasn't surprised. This kind of thing happened to trainers often.

Robert Masters/Good/Olivine City

Robert and his cousin both noticed the man with the Mawile as they exited. Jenny walked up to the man while Robert walked behind her and to the right. Robert could see his cousin was about to throw around accusations, as she was prone to jumping to conclusions. Robert placed a hand upon her shoulder and spoke. "Just questions." he said calmly.

Officer Jenny gave a nod and looked at the man before them "Excuse me sir. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions. There was. a murder last night, and we need to know if anyone saw anything that night." she spoke to the man, retaining her composure.

Danica Garnet/(Chaotic) Good/ Olivine Beach (Changed Dani's colour)

"Your welcome," the dark haired boy replied, and Dani mirrored his gaze, keeping it solely on him. She couldn’t help but feel a little funny, but kept a straight look on her face. Finally, one of the others spoke up, the one that Lyra hadn’t liked.

"Hey Ty, long time no see," he seemed to be addressing jacked wearer, and the fact that his name was known to the other guy struck Danica as a little weird, considering that Ty didn’t seem to be familiar with him. "So you decided to track Ultima along with Summer and Chris?"

Wait… those names! Davis had been waiting for a Summer and a Chris back at the Pokémon Centre. And, with that in mind, she couldn’t help but remember him mentioning a kid named Ty. Could they really be the same? Somehow, she doubted it…

"Did you lost track of them? Because i saw them walking without you." He added, and when Dani looked back at Ty, she noticed that he looked a little…, uncomfortable.

"They're here?" he asked, and his tone pretty much answered the question asked. After a few moments, Ty spoke up once more, throwing in more information.

"Actually, I'm not working with them anymore. I'm tracking down Ultima with Starr's 'Buster' team."

Starr, Danica didn’t need to think twice to recall her cousin’s blunt dislike, maybe even hate, for the man in charge of the Corporation. He’d explained what had gone down at his Goldenrod headquarters, his tone on the slightly aggressive side. However, before solidifying her opinion, Dani wanted some personnel experience in the matter. She didn’t trust anyone’s judgement enough to make it her own…

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Ty’s voice startled her a little, and she found her hazel eyes move away from the sand and back to him. She could have sworn that his friend coughed, but wasn’t so sure.

Danica considered the question, wondering if she should mention the Pokémon Centre. With the map, she could probably figure it out, but... then again…

In the meantime, Lyra had backed down, slightly. She still didn’t trust the first guy, and made sure her eyes weren’t off of him, and when they were, not for long.

“The Pokémon Centre’s a few blocks away, right?” Dani finally asked, and decided she’d wait and see what his reply would be before adding anything else. Her voice was friendlier then before, but wasn’t devoid of an edge.

Davis Garnet/Good/Pokémon Centre

"Hey, Davis," Summer was the first to speak, after having waved back in return. "I was wondering if you made it here. How's it going?"

"It's good to see you again, Davis." Chris added, "Did you make sure to train during the last month as well? I think we'll definitely need all the help we can..."

Davis didn’t seem to notice how exclusive of the second girl he was being. Actually, he didn’t really notice to Pokémon talking either. Storm, how hadn’t bothered to follow his trainer did, however, but even though he could hear them, made no effort to go over and say hi. Instead, he simple stayed put.

The brunette, was also listening to his friend’s words, that was, until a piercing roar cut him off. Whatever had made that kind of sound… was not good.

"It sounds like it's coming from the back," a man pointed out, and Davis knew he’d been in the Centre for a while, longer then himself. This also masked whatever Chris had said, but not Summer’s words, which came after.

"Hold that thought..", She wasted no time rushing out the doors, most likely to investigate the origin of that sound. Davis had full intentions of following after her, and glanced at his Raichu, silently beckoning him to come along. The Pokémon nodded, and quickly sprung off the sofa and ran over to Davis. Once he’d reached him, the brunette boy raced outside, and it didn’t take him long to find the Ranger.

She’d already called on her Noctowl, who she commanded to attack the…

… other Pokémon. Davis couldn’t say this one was familiar, and was stunned for a moment. However, his awe didn’t stop him from noting that this creature had a tough look to it.

“Need any help?” He asked Summer, his hazel eyes still on the aggressor. However, it seemed the owl’s attack managed to subdue it, thus bringing an end to the situation.

"I'm so sorry! I should have known better than to use Rex. He's not ready yet," The same girl that had entered the Centre earlier spoke and it was obvious she was upset over what had happened. However, she didn’t waste the opportunity to recall her Pokémon, while it was still asleep.

Before he could speak, another boy arrived, rushing over to the pink haired girl.

"Lyla, what happened?" he asked, which lead Davis to assume he knew her at least at little.

"I lost control of my pokemon and he began attacking in a rampage. He hurt me and my pokemon," the girl explained, and it was easy told that she was still upset about the situation. "But these brave people helped to neutralize Rex and everything is okay. Thank you both for helping me out. My name is Lyla,"

"My name is Ethan I'm a Pokemon Ranger. I hail from the Ranger Base in Blackthorn City,"

Davis gave the Ranger a surprised look, when he heard he was from a base so near to his home. He figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask about Lake of Rage later on.

“No need to cry about it, training stronger Pokémon takes a lot of patience and time. Maybe start off by getting to know it before actually battling with it. Trust me,” Davis offered, his voice reassuring, yet firm. He felt warmer today, more than usual, and added a smile to his words. He figured Summer should get the first introduction, since it was her Pokémon that helped out most.
